Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:cuts out with base randomly, cuts when plugged in randomly, un accurate and sketchy on its best day, doesn't like any mouse pad (used a purple binder) lifts off the mat (un balanced) overpriced on its best sale, battery doesn't last 6 hours outta box. mouse wheel friction spots. lighting cuts out sporadically. squeaky mouse clickers, and synapse is a terrible piece of software imo atm.

Pros:looks nice
Comment:
i wouldn't buy this again with my brothers money. i would have liked to have a durability summary for you. but its gonna sit in a bin forever for all i care.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Synapse 2.0

Pros:Great shape, battery life is what was expected, flashy lights are always awesome.
Comment:
As with my previous experiences with Razer product, the hardware itself is great and I love it, but their new(er) Synapse 2.0 software is horrible. It doesn't happen often (maybe once a month at most) but my system has had BSOD issues due to the Synapse software. The software is also slow to respond and a bit buggy updating configs to the mouse at times whether it be DPI level changes (from the software, not the mouse) or different colours. If Razer could improve their software I'd give it five stars.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:* Battery life (9-10 hours)* Side grips wear off within 2 weeks of use and turns sticky* Button 5/6 is so hard to click you won't even want to use it* Sometimes you lose connection (rarely and it's fixable)* Fairly weighty

Pros:* Comfortable to hold* Wireless* Responsive buttons* Variety of colors* Save profiles (keep mouse settings using on other PC)
Comment:
The Razer Mamba is a high end wireless gaming mouse, for the most part it does great for it's intended use. I have personally encountered hiccups with the wireless mode but you just have to spend 30 seconds re-syncing it.Offers extremely high DPI but you'll never use anything above 3000 anyway, also has good precision and overall smoothness. The side grips for your thumb is terrible, it got worn out within 2 weeks of use and became sticky, it's not the end of the world but feeling that stickyness every time using the mouse gets to me eventually, overall it doesn't really bother me much but I rather it wasn't sticky.Overall it's a good wireless gaming mouse, if they come out with a new model with better grips on the side and have the option to turn off the "dock" light while charging then I'll give it a 5/5

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:- Wireless lag at times- Buttons feel 'cheap'- Side ergonomics

Pros:- Wireless/Wired Dual Mode- Multiple colour options for lighting- Wheel is solid to click; no side deflection
Comment:
I've been testing this mouse for the last 5 days and have run it through the paces. I've been using mostly Logitech mice in the past, and when my G5 finally started to give out, I decided I'd try something from another company. A friend of mine hooked me up with the Mamba, and I was excited to give it a go.The packaging is probably some of the most detail-oriented packaging for a mouse I've seen. The pedestal the mouse sits on makes it look store-shelf-appealing, and the 'drawers' in the bottom half of the box are a clever way to separate the different components. After getting it set up, I immediately jumped into using it wirelessly to see how it handled. I was surprised to see the minimal lag right off the bat, having used a G7 for a while (Lag with that mouse was at times unbearable, and the auto-sleep wasn't adjustable). The wireless receiver connected to the mouse right away, and the mouse was able to be set up completely wirelessly. Several hours of gaming hardly made a dent in the battery level, which was surprising given the high polling rate (1000 or 1ms). I did notice a bit of lag at times (still not sure what the cause was) where the mouse would randomly skitter about the screen for a split second before returning to the general area the cursor was at before the skitter. The software took a bit of clicking through to figure out where everything was set and what options controlled the various aspects of the mouse, but customizability is very high - everything from colour and intensity of the light to buttom mapping and macros can be configured in the Synapse 2.0 software. A downside: you must be connected to the internet for the software to activate, so you have to initialize the mouse online first before offline setting changes become persistent. One other complaint I had about the mouse: the buttons on the mouse felt flimsy and sounded hollow and 'plasticky', very similar to the vintage Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical that used to come packaged with OEM computers. The keys do have a definitive click to them, however; they don't feel squishy, just hollow and lacking structure. I'm surprised they're rated for the click quantity they are.Overall, I'd say this mouse gets a 4/5 - it's not quite a 5/5, because of the odd feeling buttons and occasional lag, but that may be because of my Logitech hardware history.

I re installed drivers which corrected it temporarily but the problem is back so RMA I guess now unfortunately.Other than that it very nice but I might as well just got the Deathadder with SYNASPE SUPPORT and who needs wireless haha I only paid 70 more dollars for that and fancy dpi which 6400 is so nice its all I can use now

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:-Only comes with one battery-Wireless (see summary)-Non-slip feet-Cost

Pros:-Nice ergonomic feel-Wireless (see summary)
Comment:
This mouse is average, and considering the price I would not recommend it to others. There are plenty of other mice at lower prices that would topple the Mamba over, with the biggest problem being the tracking. Though razer boasts a response second of 1ms, either the wireless connector or the laser are inadequate for gaming; also, the non-slip Teflon feet are very small.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:- Software is cumbersome and slow- Battery doesn't last anywhere near as long as it says- Mouse sits on charging pedestal too high, if you have a keyboard tray it wont fit- Only 1 cable is included so you cant plug in the dock/receiver and the mouse at the same time

Pros:- Colour changes with different profiles- Very accurate and responsive- Customizable buttons
Comment:
This mouse works fine and is very customizable, but there are a few game breaking things that need to be worked out:The software is very cumbersome and slow to use. If you change a profile it takes about 10 seconds for the context menu to appear on the tray icon and another 10 seconds to actually change to the profile you click on. Then if you actually load up the configuration software it takes 10 seconds to do that and then applying settings takes 15 seconds.I'm not sure if I got a defective battery, but on a fairly low energy setting which is rated in the software for 10 hours, I only get 3 hours before the mouse completely dies. I've had better than the estimated time out of a mouse that uses rechargeable AA batteries and a similar polling rate.Another more niche issue I ran into was that the mouse sits on the charging pedestal/receiver too high. So if you use a keyboard tray the pedestal with the mouse on top doesn't fit. I could put the pedestal on top of my desk which normally wouldn't be an issue if the cable that the mouse uses in wired mode wasn't the same one needed for the charging pedestal.Overall it seems like another over-hyped , overpriced and overrated Razer product. Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Side buttons on left-click button hard to reachSoftware

Pros:Beautiful mouse & Charge stand
Comment:
First off, I have small hands, so I would imagine, for most people, the buttons on the side of the left-click button won't be too hard to reach. The mouse definitely is light, but so was the last Razer mouse I had, so I don't mind that at all. One thing I wasn't aware of at the time I bought it, though, was that Razer's Synapse 2.0. They do, however, have software available for the mouse that works fairly adequately, and I believe support for the Mamba is in the works. The wireless is pretty unreal, though. There is literally no noticeable latency while gaming. Haven't pushed the battery yet too see how long it will last, but I don't plan on any 12 hour gaming benders anytime soon, so I don't see that being a problem.

Cons:a few things could be better

Pros:good all around mouse. lighting is cool
Comment:
if not using battery, why that stupid battery light has to blink? i know there is no battery, because i can see that USB cable sticking out of it. too light, if i do not use the battery, i had to throw some weights in it. for all the razer mices i used, they all too light. razer always has been proud that you can click anywhere on the mouse, the pressure is applied constant, diamond back, lachesis. but mamba is not. i'm very disappointed. if you have a lachesis, do not replace it, because it is better than mamba in every single way

Cons:-Cursor jumping around-Died after 13months

Pros:-Wireless or wired-Fits for "Claw" grip-Good build quality
Comment:
I was unsure to buy this mouse or the Logitech G700. Within the first months, I knew I had make a bad decision. Mouse was jumping around when wired. Had to disconnect and plug it wireless and then back to wired to stop this behavior. Software is a PITA to use and is slow as hell(even when wired). When I asked to RMA after it died (13 months), they told me that I had to pay for the shipment (around 35$) and it could take a month before I could get it back, WTF!! COnsidering this and that I have to buy a new mouse for this month, I'll never send it and just buy the logitech, which I know have a really good customer service. I'll never buy Razer products again.

Cons:The battery life is ridiculously short.

Pros:Look cool and feel very well.
Comment:
I don't understand why every other wirelesss mouse with 2 AA battery would last months but this one using cell-phone style battery only last a night. And it would stop working without any onscreen warning. Luckily it can converted into a wired mouse and that's how I'm using it now; what a waste. Other than that, it's the best mouse I ever used.
