was happy with nvidia geforce 6800. but then wanted to create a new computer system. so i gave this a shot and works great. have two now for crossfire, or just four monitors. runs oblivion no prob. possibly a handful of frames missed but not as undesirable as the 6800, which wasnt a negative card either. overclocked to 900 and didnt want to go ferther, while im type of new at overclocking. havent observed a major massive improvement on the crossfire preformance although. be warned that its easy to overclock it. i took the ID ten T error (ID10T error) and unlocked it. oooo wat does this do???? could have voided warenty.

Card is really modest by todays standards. Need to fit in most any atx/micro atx tower. Fan is almost entirely silent even when gaming. Has adequate power to play virtually any game maxed out at 1680x1050. Does not call for a monster power supply. And did I mention it's quiet? Had this card for nearly half a year and it has never ever provided me any difficulties. Can not be beat for the price. Yeah, the gtx460 is a tiny more quickly, but it expense from 30+ dollars more. (windows 7 x64) it worked effectively for a handful of days until windows 7 decided to update my ati drivers. after they had been installed the card started to crash...I just went back to the old drivers and it worked fine. I'm never going back to low res gaming right after seeing how beautiful it is when I play it as intended. It's also a show of respect to the developer and designers.
