Silverstone Good quality ~ Constructed like a tank.Superb area for wiring.Quiet - Sound Dampening Material all through. The Ɠ) 180mm Fans w/Filters hold my i7 980x @ 70c With prime95 Substantial fft operating with a Venomous X and MX-2 Paste at four.three. Running five Drives that never ever go over 32c ~ 2xRaptorX 150 Raid 2x RE3 750's Raid0. Max i have ever noticed on furmark bench was 92c.Also has a filter for the PSU.. i have had this case 3 weeks and have yet to see a speck of dust inside the case. Ought to have been 1 1ǘ inches longer for the 5.25 inch Drive Bays. For the longer DVD Blu-Ray Drives. I had a TJ10 that i replaced with a HAF 932 as i was attempting to keep air cooled and have very good temps. The 932 was just affordable excellent. Fans produced a clicking noise side and top 230mm's. i also received it with scratches on the top rated and side panel. Honestly it looked like Refurbished unit. Silverstone came boxed effectively no scratches, dents or dings

Silverstone makes by far the finest instances ever! I upgraded from a TJ06. This case is great for those who do not want to have a complete liquid cooling system. Best thermal design and style and fits anything completely. Only flaw is if you want to use lots of the 5.25 bays. You cant run sli and such with particular boards. As long as you do the study you'll be fine.

Attractive case. TONS of room. Appreciate the sideways design and style. Extremely durable. Fit my Coolermaster hyper 212 with no dilemma. Keeps issues good and quiet. Lots of airflow. The intake fans all have filters, and I cant think what a difference they make. cable management performs fantastic. I cant say adequate great points about this box. Almost certainly 1 of the greatest situations I've ever owned. None. LED's for the pwr and hdd lights are blue.

This is by far the very best computer system case i have ever owned. When searching for case it came down to a choice among this case and the Corsair Obsidian 800D. I undoubtedly think that i produced the correct decision. The thermal dynamics of this case are merely incredible! As heat rises the 3 180mm fans at the bottom produce a optimistic stress in the case which forces that hot air out by way of the top. The configuration of the motherboard also requires benefit of this principle. By flipping the video cards (in my case 480GTX) to a vertical orientation it locations the intake vent directly above a 180mm fan which then feeds the card cool air. Cable management can be a pain. There is just less then a half inch of clearance among the back panel and the motherboard tray. Make confident you spread these cables out, if they get bunched up it will create a bulge when you put the panel back on. I utilised 21 zip-ties and 6 zip-tie anchors on my setup. Patients right here is almost everything. Do not rush and TAKE YOUR TIME...anything will turn out beautifully in the finish! Oh if you strategy on making use of a modular energy provide make sure you get a single with long 6pinǞpin cables. This is a big case and cables have a lot of ground to cover. I have read some concerns about the sturdiness of the case.., and effectively rest assured this point is built like a rock! There is NO flex or flimsiness anyplace. Quite high quality craftsmanship. Fully built this factor is HEAVY. Even though most of the components are at the best of the case the wait is distributed evenly. The only way this case will tip over is if you push it more than. Bumping into it wont even move it.Silverstone cares about their goods and it shows. This case screams top quality and innovation and in my opinion is the ideal case on the market.

Airflow and cooling is amazing.Major video card orientation is a brilliant thought."Uni-body" looks amazing, it's a really nice searching case. (except the 5.25" faceplates). "Hot-Swappable Bays" ?!?!This is most likely additional due to Silverstones CP-05 adapters than the case itself. There's a cause they only consist of 1 with the case. They actually do NOT match next to 1 another. The Plastic drive carriers are a bit flimsy and they do a poor job of guiding the drive onto the CP-05 connectors. The space behind the rear panel is nice to have, but it's pretty narrow offered the girth of this case, in particular if you're attempting to daisy chain a bunch of power connectors like those horrible hot-swap adapters. If they fixed the hot-swap troubles, I'd move the rating back up to 5 out of 5 stars, hopefully they do a major style overhaul to the adapters for sata three ƖGB). *note, the FT-02 case isn't listed in the CP-05's description, but it is recommended on the Silverstone internet site. A minor gripe, the front faceplates/covers for the five.25 bays truly aren't the nicest fit. It's fantastic that they employed metal in keeping with the (mostly) plastic cost-free theme, but the poor match genuinely cheapens an otherwise stellar seeking case. This case seriously is a fine piece of furnishings, it's also large and also pricey to be hidden away, so it's a shame to have slightly off covers. You are actually limited in where you can put your five.25 cd/dvd/blu-ray drives with a common atx motherboard mainly because the backs of them can run inside a hair width of the bottom of a normal atx motherboard, this can make energy and sata cable connectors a bit of an concern. The case truly does an remarkable job of keeping anything clean and cool, I'm just really disappointed in the hot-swap setup.

This case is stunning! It's hard AND sleek. Craftsmanship is exceptional. Huge Fans! Quiet! Awesome noise insulation. Removable fan filters. Rotated motherboard orientation keeps my Computer cool. Fast Release five.25" Drive Bays. Fast Release HD enclosures Ƒ hot swappable). Feels like it will final forever. Recessed I/O ports make fitting some cables/plugs challenging. That's all! I purchased this case due to the fact I wanted an appealing, QUIET case with excellent temperature handle. I got what I wanted... One more case might ventilate far better, but more fans/holes=more noise. Unless you wanna place in aftermarket fans $$$. Using core i7 920 w/stock cpu fan - no overclocking.

Case is beautiful. Quite uncomplicated, sophisticated, and clean. Install was a breeze. A lot of room to operate about inside. I looked about at instances for a great month prior to I lastly decided on the Fortress FT02B-W. Believe me when i tell you that I am ecstatic correct now. Case is Quite sturdy, you can ignore that men and women have called it "top heavy" they are complete of it. Wide and planted base with a rigid building tends to make for a good sturdy case. The cable management is a little snug.. but only just a little. (very modest)No gripe that would make me even second guess income properly spent. Phenomenal airflow, clean design, looks excellent, whisper quiet, roomy, functional. Incredibly small room behind the motherboard tray for cable management. The sound dampening material is a nice touch. With the 3 large low RPM fans on higher I can barely hear this issue. My elements are good and cool and I'm enjoying the silence!

- Fantastic cooling with the three 180mm fans. it brought my idle temps on SLI gtx 480s down around 45c with the fan at 50% which is darn excellent. with the exact same fan speed they would only attain 70c on load. whereas my old case would be speedy to make even a single GTX 480 rise above 80c under load. let alone the SLId 480's i have in this case now. -All the cable management holes and zip tie hooks you will need for a professional searching develop. - lots of space to match even the biggest power supplies in without having much difficulty. i have the corsair AX1200 in mine. - and last but not least, this case looks completely sexy with all of the elements inside. i need to have some lighting to give it some attitude though. the side panel window is just excellent. - the space behind the back panel for cable routing is quite small. you have to be clever if you are organizing to hold your rig good and tidy because obtaining to route numerous peripheral cables can make it difficult to get the back panel to close appropriately. but this wasn't sufficient to take an egg away since this case is just completely stunning. - i actually dont like the placement of the 2.5 inch SSD bracket. this is not a major con, it is just due to the fact with the placement of the bracket it forced me to route an additional molex energy cable set from my corsair PSU which consists of a number of molex adapters along the cable which made it hard route the cable properly to let the back panel to close properly. once again not enough of a con to dock it an egg i have to say i spent the most time on this build than i have with any other people and it was worth every headache putting my gear in this case. the tempuratures dropped significantly for my graphics cards. and when it was all mentioned and performed, the make just looked incredible. i have to tip my hat to silverstone for generating this feasible. ill list my computer specs beneath in case everyone with a related system has doubts about this case fitting their stuff. * Sturdy and simple to work with.* Extremely impressive stock cooling with the fans.* First time I've encountered the floating chassis design, really pleased with it.* Filters on the fans will make upkeep a breeze. * Running cables to the hard drives was a bit far more challenging than I'd like.* Directions had been a bit unclear on the HDD hot-swap setup.* Virtually not possible to make use of the top rated-most expansion/optical drive opening.* Comparatively high priced. * Extremely quiet, but not the quietest case I've worked with.* Undecided on the top rated-side USB ports - can't plug a flash drive in unless I... a) get a new desk, b) modify the desk for much more clearance, or c) move the machine from desk enclosure.* The prime of the case is quite open, which might allow additional dust into the case than the standard design and style - time will tell.

This case keeps almost everything so cool. It was effortless to set up my Corsair H50 closed loop liquid cooler (make confident to put the fan in as an intake for very best cooling). - Fits extended ATX, possibly the only mid tower case that can do that. - Extremely effortless to set up- Difficult drive cages very accessible- Case is fairly heavy...is very tough- Has Teflon feet for effortless positioning- Great minimalist style - I/O and "backplate" on the best of the case, so with the cover on, it is difficult to access plugged in cables in a pinch. - two.5" drive mounts in an odd place on the opposite side of the case behind the optical drives. Be sure to take this into account, and take away five.25" drive bay covers initial. - No external 3.5" drive bay, but this is not a enormous situation as very good drive bay adapters are cheap.- Front-panel connectors are really challenging to plug in...fortunately this is a a single-time deal. - Case is really heavy...about 40 lbs loaded. Please don't hurt oneself carrying this case. This is clearly a superior solution by Silverstone. You certainly get what you spend for, and then some!

I doubt that I could say anything about this case that other reviewers haven't touched on already, but I just had to take the time to rate this. Transferring the guts from my old case into this beauty was a breeze. Cable management is easy, mounting/swapping HDDs and Optical Drives is effortless. There's lots of room for all of my elements, and plenty of room to work in--I under no circumstances had to try to squeeze my hands into a cramped space to set factors up. And even though I by no means cared much for the aesthetic aspects of a case prior to, this case is gorgeous. Even my non-fancy searching motherboard and elements appear quite good through the side window. Oh, and when it comes to cable management, it's not just the interior wiring that positive aspects from this case. The motherboard "backplate" is really on the top rated of this case, which has its own pop-off cover. When you've connected all of your cables (power, USB, HDMI and so on), you pop the cover back on, and you have a single really clean searching setup. This factor is heavy. The empty case weighed at least as much if not far more than my old case with all of the elements installed (including four HHDs). As a person who attends LAN parties about once per month, this is not going to be entertaining to haul around (I have a dolly I'll be using). There is also no three.five drive bay, and although I have no use for 1, this could be an concern for some men and women. Nonetheless, with every other aspect of this product being so excellent, I nevertheless couldn't knock it down an egg. I didn't even touch on the cooling aspects in the Pros section. So, you know, it's runs cool AND almost whisper quiet. When I constructed my rig, I was both spending budget-minded and high quality-conscious. The a single element I compromised on the most--as far as the top quality was concerned--was the case, and now I am generating up for it with the FT02.The rig I have now will effortlessly retain me happy effectively into next year, but when I do make a decision to construct an all-new rig, I know I won't require to believe about what case I'm going to get.* AMD Phenom II X4 965, OCed to 3.8GHz on air* G.Talent 4GB ƒ x 2GB) DDR3 1333* GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P Motherboard* Diamond Radeon 5870 1GB* Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series Sound Card* four HHDs ƒx2TB, 2x1.5TB)* LITE-ON 4X Blu-ray Disc Reader* LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner* Pc Energy & Cooling Silencer 750W PSU.Like I mentioned, not the fanciest rig, but additional than capable of running each game out there. This is an completely outstanding case design and style. I've constantly wondered why circumstances were created so airflow goes sideways by means of the case, when heat rises. It's a really logical design and style which tends to make significantly much better use of straightforward physics in its airflow approach. As other people have mentioned, the drive trays are a bit lacking. No complaints other than that. Very merely, this is the finest case out there today. I had narrowed my choice down to either this or a Corsair 700D몸D (they're basically the very same case, with minor alterations). Even so, even though the Corsair cases have prime ventilation, they nonetheless employ sideways airflow as the main airflow.

- High excellent, stunning case.- Incredibly construct-friendly. Plenty of space, alternatives.- Lots of wire-management selections.- Extreme cooling capacity (See "Other Thoughts").- Quiet.- Good-pressure case + filters on all intake fans = minimum dust inside case. - No three.five" external bay. Calls for purchase of an add-on component to set up, eg, the three.5" USB3 front panel pod some Asus socket 1155 mobos present.- No external access to the hot-swap bay(s); Access requires removal of the top and a side panel.- PSU strap isn't important and may not be usable based on how far your psu fan protrudes from your psu. You may possibly not be in a position to open/close the filter door.- The hole in the mobo tray does not align with the socket on the Asus P8P67 Deluxe, and most likely other mobos as properly. So you can't set up a cooler (or at least the rear bracket) after the mobo is in the case.- The molex connector for the hot-swap bar is low-high quality and would not mate with Corsair psu cables with out removing most of the plastic shield to align the pins.- There are so numerous wire-routing choices you can invest more than standard amounts of time here. Although there are a number of disappointing cons, the truth remains no case I've ever employed cools as well and as quietly as this case. Working with a Noctua NH-D14, my 2600k ran 8 threads of Prime95 at stock for an hour with no core temp ever exceeding 49C. The cpu essentially turbo'd 1 step for the whole run. Auto-overclocked to four.4GHz by an Asus P8P67 Deluxe, a 1-hour eight-thread Prime95 run made a max core temp of 60C. Whilst the cpu and cooler clearly make it achievable, the case gets rid of all that heat quietly.

Wow Charley its wonderful that you got each this case and the Raven 02 and some how felt the exact way about both of them verbatim. Go take your uneducated dribble somewhere else. I really like this case personally. Yes, it is a tiny cramped behind the back panel due to the sound proofing foam. All it requires is handful of extra minutes to properly route all of the cables, and discover a position for them to sit flush. The positive airflow technique is wonderful, I haven't noticed a spec of dust inside my case. As to the fans becoming loud, that just proves that you have never ever owned this case. I have mine set to high at the moment and I can't hear a single thing. My GFX cards at ten% are louder then the case fans. Leading HEAVY!!! Are you attempting to make me laugh... This issue is a freaking tank, at 36ish lbs its going to take a lot alot more then some graphics cards and a energy supply to make this unstable. Yeah, it makes me angry when consumers/spammers w/e come on to a web site like this and terrible mouth a item they obviously have under no circumstances employed. This site and the capability to have client feedback is meant to help help in the selection creating procedure. Sadly an individual may well error this great piece of equipment for significantly less then it is for the reason that of your jackassery. Amazing case, I have built a variety of custom Pc's in the past for good friends and household. From High-end to Low, but this is the case I decided on for my personal individual air cooled system. Don't let the bozo turn you off. He definitely has some sort of agenda.

I have a higher finish core i7 system and naturally I'd like to defend that investment. I have a HAF 932 case which had been cooling the program nicely, but did not guard it from the ever present dust and flotsam that appears to float about. I have a property with 95% hardwood floors... how is this attainable? Cats (IMO) and two of them at that. Regardless of all the precautions - electrified blankets, anti-cat weapons and military grade gas - they appear to get their hair everywhere, which includes my case. Pros: Dust filters - Style - Sound Dampening - Cooling; i.e., Good Air Pressure - painted interior. I genuinely like this case. It does an excellent job of maintaining the interior clear of dust and debris. It looks great, sleek style keeps it visually appealing - and it is just plain cool. Doable Con: Cable management behind the motherboard is tight - though it actually isn't a large deal. Some have complained about it... nah, no large deal - just assume about the management instead of throwing wires each and every-which-a-way. It operates just fine. Other Cons: House is dusty, cats are too hairy, function is boring, telephone interruptions, yardwork, trash, light, 3d glasses, environmentalists, crime, jump-to-conclusions mat, driving in the rapid lane executing 65mph, etc. The white zone is for....what? oh, sorry - should remain on subject. Regardless of dusting and cleaning just about every weekend a quite good townhome remains dusty simply because of cats - thankfully Silverstone heard my prayers and built a wonderful case with dust filters for me. I know other producers make cases with dust filters and i'm confident they are just as good. It comes down to requirements (atx, e-atx, and so forth) and design. I just come about to like this. If I chose another case around this price tag - i'd chose ABS canyon 595, or a Corsair ...uh... obsidian? or a cooler master atcs. In any event this case gets the job accomplished, looks wonderful, has outstanding develop high quality, offers sound dampening (I mean this produced a huge difference compared to the HAF) and dust filters. This is protecting my "investment". I like it and you could too!

Exactly where to start. Great high quality and interest to detail. I have been creating computer systems for over ten years and this is by far the greatest case I have ever own. a true operate of beauty. Anything went well for the duration of the set up. Incredibly Nicely made.Thermal Style is above typical.Uncomplicated to make a "Clean Seeking" make.Lots of holes to get cables by.Neat thought to turn the mother board 90 degrees. The one Hot Swap enabled bay is good. The Back side for cable management is incredibly thin. Want to squish the cables about to get the door on.The Drawers for the Hot Swap drives are on the low-cost side but they function. Only 1 drive has a hot swap board on the back. I did order 4 a lot more. The optional Hot Swap Hardware is not he exact same as the 1 that is on the case. I like the a single that came with the case better but they function. Also the Hot Swap Hardware utilizes a MOLEX for energy connection as opposed to the SATA power connector. The 2 1ǘ" bay sounds nicer then it is. Quite tight energy connector for installing an Intel SSD for instance. The whole for the CPU fan mounting bracket could be a little bigger. I guess I should add it is with a ASUS P6X58D mother board. This is my second FT02 case so with that getting mentioned I truly can't give a greater recommendation. I have been a long time Thermaltake fan, but I have a new preferred case.Mounted a CORSAIR CWCH50-1 in it with a push/pull fan. Ought to note it is on the exhaust side not the intake side as advised but the CPU temp is in the higher 30C most of the time (i7-980X).Also got a ATI 5980 fit in it. To do that I had to take away the FAN guard on the inside.I don't believe you will be in a position to get three Graphics cards in to this case and be capable to use the five 1ǘ bays. Just two close. two cards must work fine. One writer commented about the case tipping over, I disagree, this case is actually heavy, I have 1000W provide in it and two - five 1ǘ Drives. Its not tipping unless I seriously want it to. My other case has a huge Heat sink in it and it just doesn't matter as far as mechanical stability goes. All of the Cons are actually minor but I figure they all add up to an egg off.
