Just a different instance when a bit additional help from the Microsoft error message would have been appreciated. Moral: If you are getting this error message appear, try moving the card to one more PCI slot.

Cheap. See Below. Says it supports WinXP but is not recognized by Hardware Wizard. CD says Drivers & Utilities but it had NO drivers on it. Just a USB utility. Also was not sent SYBA brand but a brand referred to as For Very best Ports Connection. Incredibly in contrast to my previous experiences from Newegg.

It lets you add an LPT port to computers that don't have one. Very hard set up. Only supports SPP mode so it would be fine for an old influence printer but several newer printers and multi-functions will not function with it. User Manual integrated mentions DOS, 98, NT and 2000 only but box claims all versions of Windows and Linux. I let XP come across the drivers itself but device would not load. The web page it sends you to for help does not exist. Went to the Syba internet site and downloaded the most up-to-date drivers and they did not work. No support to be discovered on their website. Lastly found the comment from Aslong80 here and followed his directions and it worked proper away.
