Super Product
Comment:
I recently learned about these multi card readers I am glad to see them come about since the Floppy drive is pretty much like an Appendix. The mother board requires it even though it may never be used. As a multi card reader it can be used and I like were it has a USB connection as well.

Check your order carefully
Comment:
I ordered an Internal Floppy Drive and Flash Card Reader D15-3644. I received defective Floppy Drive and Card Reader M501-4006. I returned the Sabrent and ask for a credit of the shipping charges since I was shipped a defective WRONG product. The shipper only gave me credit for the defective drive, and not the shipping charges for their mistake. Never, Never will I ever order from this shipper again.

nice floppy, works fine, the card reader is an added bonus. Was a tight fit in my coolmaster case though. had to bend some tabs to get it to slide in.

Good but not great
Comment:
Overall a nice product. The face doesn't seem to line up with the holes 100% which makes it a bit annoying to use. However it does work and it very conveniently connects right to the motherboard usb headers unlike the competition that want you to snake a wire through the chassis to the rear connection ports. So i would say only average quality but otherwise good product. If they start making it easier to insert the cards it deserves a 5 all the way around.

It works
Comment:
Installation a little hard as screw holes are off a bit. The functionality of the product seems to be ok so far. Floppy reads and writes. The card reader and usb ports also work. This is in windows. In Ubuntu the card reader and usb ports work but the floppy is acting up. Sure its a problem with the config since the floppy works in windows. I paid $22 for mine a week ago and the site has since dropped it to $19 a good deal.

Good Product and Good Deal
Comment:
Despite the negative reviews this is a good product. It has a few areas that could use improvement but over-all I'd buy another one. When inserting flash media insert it with the metal connections facing up. The statement about the fit is true. I had to bend up the metal tabs to get it to fit in the case. I guess the height is not standard but no big deal. The quality of the drive could have been better but it's OK. Getting the XD card read can be tricky. Having a separate slot for it would make it easier. I had to buy a floppy cable but so what? Their cheap. Overall I'd say buy one. It's a good drive and you can't beat the value for your money!

Comment:
The quality is poor and it will not read the same floppy twice in a row. Flip a coin to see if it will work at any given time. The USB cable was too short to reach the header on my MB. I bought a card reader from a local store and put an old floppy drive in. It isn't even worth the trouble to ship it back.

Works good
Comment:
Installed easily, only need to purchase a floppy cable for installation. The floppy clicks for a couple of minutes after removing disk, like it is searching for it. So far that is the only complaint. It's still a good drive for the price.

COULD NOT INSTALL
Comment:
I bought this item after calling and making sure it would work with my mother board. I was told by the tech I did not need a floppy connector...WRONG! You need both a USB and Floppy to make it work. Don't buy unless you have both!

Good unit for the price
Comment:
BE sure you know it has two cables to hook up in order to use all of its features; the USB motherboard 9-pin connection for the card reader, and the standard floppy flat cable for the floppy disk. The install is a little difficult because of the size of the case. Otherwise a good unit.

I bought this unit about a month ago simply because of the features and price. Now the floppy does not work and found that the unit comes with a support cd, which was not in the package. Very disappointed

Good Buy
Comment:
I have bought 2 of these floppy, card reader combo units. Both units have worked flawlessly. You will have a fitment issue with most cases on the market, but, any experienced builder should be able to fit the drive in the case without damaging the floppy unit. I am one of the few around that still uses floppy disks regularly and this unit with the card readers has worked like a charm. I only use a couple of the card reader ports on a regular basis, but they also work flawlessly. My OS recognizes each of them as a removeable drive. For the money this is a good buy.

Great design
Comment:
Drive installed OK. Floppy drive had problems finding files in Windows. I took it apart, put it back together, now the drive has been working great for several days. The card reader works great. The company needs to improve the quailty, and proper assembly of their product.

Great replacement for the old floppy
Comment:
Does what its supposed to... pulled out an old floppy and replaced it with one unit that has floppy and card reader (68 in 1). Important to note that with these units as with all the models I have seen, the Floppy drive is still powered by the EDIDE cable on the motherboard not via USB.)

Waste of time
Comment:
Poor fit, had to modify my case to get it to line up with the front opening. Worked OK for a while, now all the media readers have quit. USB is working so it's not the install. Not impressed! It will be going back.
