Dead in 1 day
Comment:
It worked well for about a day, then died. I got it cheap so it wasn't worth the shipping or time to return. Went with a Belkin and have had no problems.

Doesn't work
Comment:
Doesn't work with Windows 7. Only recognizes one port at a time and is not 2.0 speed. Buy a card that works with windows 7 if you have windows 7...

Bad USB Card
Comment:
This card did not work well when I initially installed it a year ago. I had an older computer at the time, so I considered my older system as the source of the problem. Only a few of the USB ports would work at one time. It registered as USB 1.1. Here I am a year later with a brand new computer and the problem persists. Only some of the USB ports work. It still registers as USB 1.1. But this time, one of the other ports is made available upon waking my computer up from sleep mode. Do yourself a favor and buy a different card.

Plug and Play Simplicity
Comment:
I think this card may have installed itself! I remember opening the package, then I was plugging things in. Works well all by itself. And since my printers and camera seem to like it too, I'd recommend it.

Card Killed Computer
Comment:
At first it seemed like a dream card, installed perfectly. Then suddenly the computer froze. The card had blown out both the keyboard and the HD controller on the motherboard, will never buy Sabrent brand products again.

Easy to Install ! Works great!!!
Comment:
I looked up my sony vaio manual instructions on adding a card. Once I had that down, the card installed easily & software loaded easily as well. A (website) agent suggested this card & I am very happy with it!!

Fairly good though..
Comment:
I find it completly pointless to have an internal USB port.. seriously.. most USB devices have a wire.. which means you either add a new hole somewhere or you find a wireless device that'll fit in their somehow. Still the externals work fine. Caution on smaller towers.. the card itself isn't big.. but if you plan on hooking up a 'wireless' usb device to the internal. Be cautious about cooling. As a wireless usb device typically creates alot of heat.. and on most boards, it'll be tight in their. Still it works. Easy to install. A good value. 4 externals is a good upgrade.

Sabrent HighSpeed 5-Port USB 2.0 PCI Card
Comment:
Great card, works great with my USB multi-card reader and all my high-capacity flash drives. I love the fact that it has an internal USB slot--I didn't expect that in a 10 dollar card. The only thing I would like for it to have is an internal powered header, simply because I used this card to upgrade my USB 1.1 PC to 2.0. Just make sure when you order peripherals that they have standard USB slots and not header connections.

Worst card ever, peroid. Do yourself a favor and get the $25 iogear instead. Cannot use this for an external hd to backup from cd boot. Windows saw it as a 1.1, just nuttin but bad. How it got 4 stars should be investigated.

Sabrent HighSpeed 5-Port USB 2.0 PCI Card
Comment:
I was hesitant to buy another Sabrent device after I got a faulty external enclosure from them and their technical support was unknowledgable (to put it kindly). I should have trusted my instinct. After installing this PCI USB interface, my computer started having problems. I had the BSOD appearing, and Windows XP couldn't open Disk Management. The machine would also hang when trying to shut down/restart, too. On top of all of that, the USB interface didn't recognize most of my USB devices. It didn't recognize my optical wireless mouse, wireless network adapter, or thumb drives. The only thing it ever recognized was a USB hub, but what good is a hub when nothing plugged in it works? By ''not recognize'' I mean it wouldn't even acknowledge that I plugged something in. I'd return the card, but shipping back to Tiger Direct likely costs more than the card. Trust me, buy name brand -- stick with IoGear or Ultra cards that have both USB and Firewire and only cost $12 more.

Bad card. Don't spend money on it. Seems not support USB v 2.0, ok for 1.0. So I bought another card, Zonet 4+1Port USB 2.0 PCI Card (VIA Chipset), works fine.

Sabrent HighSpeed 5-Port USB 2.0 PCI Card
Comment:
This card is a piece of junk. I installed it on my XP machine and although it installed fine, the performance was extremely bad. Transferring files to and from an external hard drive took almost an hour where it should have been minutes. I exchanged it for an Ultra brand card which works beautifully.
