Samsung S24D300HS 23.6in Widescreen LED Monitor 1920x1080 FHD 2ms 1000:1 HDMI VGA
Cons:No tilt adjustment No dviNo screw holes for mountUgly texture on back

Pros:Price2 ms response time1080pSharp image quality
Comment:
If you're looking for a budget gaming monitor, it does the trick. For $120 (on sale) you get a sharp image at a resolution of 1080p, and a refresh rate of 2ms. I personally haven't experienced blurry text like some reviews I've read, but from my understanding its only on macs and it can be fixed ;)It seems silly that samsung didn't include a tilt adjustment for viewing angles or dvi input, as they are standard features on most monitors. It's also a bummer that there's no way to mount it! I don't know who Samsung hired to design it, but they should be fired.. the texture on the back is hideous. If Samsung could make these changes they would have an unstoppable product.-MN84

Samsung S24D300HS 23.6in Widescreen LED Monitor 1920x1080 FHD 2ms 1000:1 HDMI VGA
Cons:The controls for monitor display adjusts are super sensitive! I dont like "sensor" adjusting, I prefer real physical buttons.

Pros:Very crisp displayGood value for basic my gaming monitorDidn't see any dead pixel or minor malfunctionThis has a tilt function as I have tilted it. Not so much but it is still a tilt.Good value monitor. If you want to spend $100-150 on a monitor, buy this. It's a good value for your money.
Comment:
I bought this on sale boxing day for $99.99 (well factor the tax and environmental fee it totals to about $120.00) and I think for standing in line for more than 1hour I think it's a good buy. The display is crisp for me. Oh well, my previous monitor is a 19inch LG flatron, then I switch to 20inch ACER. To compare them, when I plug this new monitor to my computer, I can see the big difference in the "power/crisp/grace" of the display capability of this monitor. Now, you may have read on some reviews that this monitor has no tilt feature. Don't believe it. This monitor can be tilted. It's just that you need a bit of force and don't be scared that you might destroy the base because you wont. Just hold with your other hand the base and the other hand on the top center of the monitor and tilt it slowly (while your other hand holds the base, slowly tilt back the monitor using your hand on the top center). I can assure you 100 per cent it can be tilted. Just look at the picture above. The third picture, this monitor was tilted backwards. Sure we can tilt it. When you take it out of the box you might get frustrated that it cannot be tilted. But it can be. The only difference is that in my experience with my LG and ACER monitor they are easier to tilt but with Samsung you need to apply a bit more force and the positioning of the hands must be one hand holding the base and the other hand holding the top center and tilt it slowly. Anyway the slight problem is that for me, the controls are "OK" but honestly I don't like this sensor activated controls. Man, im only moving the monitor from left to right and part of my hand slid to the power side and the monitor reacts buy turning off. I know it should because i put my finger there but I would still prefer real physical buttons to control my monitor settings and not this sensor type adjusting.
