A really great fan than is quite, extremely quiet. I can\'t hear it more than the GPA fan and my case stays much less than 35 at all instances - and that is in an Antec 300 case with a 125W processor. None. All the chinese on the packaging scared me a bit, but every thing is there. |

Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Cons:- Screw holes aren't the size of my case's (Antec Sonata II)- Would've preferred a speed selector instead of a set RPM
Pros:- Quiet relative to the rest of my system- Strong enough to affect temperatures- Cheap, got it for $6 Comment:
A good buy if you just wanna quickly and cheaply lower the temps of your hardware by a degree or two. Very quiet too, I got scared seeing 24dB but after installing I realized either its less than 24dB or the rest of the fans in the case are over 24dB. |

Good airflow at very first. I purchased 4 of these fans to replace the fans in my 4-in-3 drive cages. After about a year, they just locked up on me. I didn't understand that the fans weren't operating until it was as well late, I lost 2 striped arrays out of four. Took apart the cages to replace the drives, and identified out the fan wouldn't spin. Going to a different brand and never ever going back. |

Very good cost. Excellent brand. None. Was seeking for a thing about as loud as my HDDs. It's nearly best so it doesn't matter that they're not silent. |

Moves alot of air. Spins at RPM. Relatively quiet, substantially quieter than the Antec Tri-cool at the same speed, which moves a lot less air. Immediately after about a month and a half, it started to rattle and squeak and slow down to 900 RPM. Not silent, or totally free. Due to above issue, I took the sticker off, dripped some Added Virgin Olive oil onto the bearing, and spun it, and repeated, and voila, its worked stunning considering that then, with about 2200 hours on it since. I consider Scythe wants to superior seal, or lube the sleeve bearing. But this is a excellent way to bring it back to life if it happens to you. |

These replaced some old 75CFM monsters I had that created a ton of noise - regardless of getting about 7CFM much less, they're substantially quieter than the old fans. Nonetheless push a ton of air and the blades and motor style are excellent. May well get some additional as soon as my Antec 300 comes in... Wish they had been typical 4-pin molex for power, because I don't plug the fans into mobo headers. Not a big deal, fans each come with three to 4 pin adapters and they perform fine and don't add added clutter to my case wiring :) Fairly excellent deal general, employing 2 of the 3 fans I bought in my present case, certainly encouraged considering the noise to airflow ratio. |

Moves a lot of air. Great design and style3 pin connector Looks fantastic Not substantially negative to say....could have been a couple of bucks more affordable I guess....some may well feel it's too high-priced. The options for related fans are largely LED and I wanted one thing with no LED. This child moves some air and stays extremely quiet. I suggest it. |

It's affordable. It's reasonably quiet. Mine made a humming noise that I identified as well distracting to continue utilizing. I removed them right away, place the original fans back in, and then put resistors on them to slow them down. I might discover a use for these someday. I want a quiet method that tends to make distracting levels of noise only when I'm taxing the method like through graphics intensive gaming. |

After significantly research, I decided these fans gave me the airflow to noise ratio I was searching for. I replaced 4 fans in my Antec 900 situation, and the difference is awesome! Incredibly quiet and no annoying LED. Newegg had these to my property in beneath 48 hours from the time I placed the order. none |

Application, rear exhaust situation fan.Replaced the stock situation fan with this one particular. Original case fan is .27A and this one particular is .26A. Each spin at 1200RPM. The Scythe pushes noticeably far more air compared to the stock fan, while getting as quiet if not quieter than the stock fan!I tested the air flow by placing my hand on the blowing side and felt much much more air pushed out by the fan. Both fans had been on throughout the test.Loved it so significantly that I bought another 1 for my other computer, to function as a rear exhaust fan.Very very suggested. Can't submit this evaluation since Cons field is empty - well, not anymore. But there are no cons at all to this item. |

The box produced me laugh - it looks like anything you get from a tourist trap in chinatown.Quiet for how a lot air it moves, appears decent in construction. No adjustable speed...not that I was expecting one, but Newegg wants me to have some cons in right here. There are tiny black clips that hold the wire in to the tiny channel that routes it out to the side. These are removable AND re-insertable if you decide you didn't want to take them out. |

I purchased two of these for my antec 300 and put each in the front. Compared to my old case with its old fans, this setup is took off about 10c on almost everything. My motherboard can only manage 2 fans such as the CPU fan, so I have 1 set to about 800rpm and it is just about 100% silent. The other fan that is 100% rpm~), it's not silent, but it isn't that big a nuisance that I would drop and egg for. It's not only the fans undertaking that created my temps go down, my old case was dusty and the reality that I changed circumstances produced a difference as well, |

Push nearly the same amount of air as the four 5700RPM deltas they replaced without having all the noise! None so far. Using in a custom 120mm fan board in a norco RPC-4220. |

I have 3 of these fans pusing air by way of my external radiator. Can't hear them at all. Standing on the other side of the radiator feels like a good breeze blowing by your face. None at all. If you are seeking for a slim, efficient, and quiet fan then this is it. You won't locate much better for the money. |

Quiet for how substantially air it moves. Seemed to have a low start out voltage (anecdotal observations, never ever truly measured) Got louder as they began to fail, typical for sleeve bearings. Lasted roughly 2 years running 24ǝ at full voltage. Had 6 in my case, three of the 4 operating full time have failed. Very good fan, but I'm going to opt for a far more robust bearing style this time. May well reuse the remaining working fans in a place that is easy to swap (case door). |

Superb noise signature, washed out and non-intrusive. Practically inaudible when undervolted, acceptable at full power. Airflow might not be adequate for some applications - but there are other Slipstream models with larger airflow for that. Some fans go negative in the lengthy run. Six of these operate in unique modes (some non-cease, some cease-and-go) for over a year with no perceptible alter in noise signature. |

Awesome fans. push a lot of air in much less noise than you believe. note tho they nonetheless produce noise (fixed by a fan controller). i purchased four of these to go into my new CM690 and they rock. The case has so much air going by it now. Sharp fins tho..got a little cut on a finger so watch it now my laptop or computer picks up additional dust lol, but i dont care, i have a friend with a large air compressor. now i go to him for cleaning each three weeks TIP: to boost the life of these fans, take off the sticker in the middle, take off the lil red rubber cap, and squirt in a lil WD-40 inside, then twirl the fan both ways some. the added liquid will support it move easier, longer.
