Scythe SY1225SL12M "Slipstream" Case Fan
Comment:
It's affordable. It's reasonably quiet. Mine made a humming noise that I identified as well distracting to continue utilizing. I removed them right away, place the original fans back in, and then put resistors on them to slow them down. I might discover a use for these someday. I want a quiet method that tends to make distracting levels of noise only when I'm taxing the method like through graphics intensive gaming.

After significantly research, I decided these fans gave me the airflow to noise ratio I was searching for. I replaced 4 fans in my Antec 900 situation, and the difference is awesome! Incredibly quiet and no annoying LED. Newegg had these to my property in beneath 48 hours from the time I placed the order. none

Application, rear exhaust situation fan.Replaced the stock situation fan with this one particular. Original case fan is .27A and this one particular is .26A. Each spin at 1200RPM. The Scythe pushes noticeably far more air compared to the stock fan, while getting as quiet if not quieter than the stock fan!I tested the air flow by placing my hand on the blowing side and felt much much more air pushed out by the fan. Both fans had been on throughout the test.Loved it so significantly that I bought another 1 for my other computer, to function as a rear exhaust fan.Very very suggested. Can't submit this evaluation since Cons field is empty - well, not anymore. But there are no cons at all to this item.

This fan moves a lot of air. It's dropped my case temps by a few degrees, which is usually a plus. It's a bit loud, but that's to be expected along with its power.

The box produced me laugh - it looks like anything you get from a tourist trap in chinatown.Quiet for how a lot air it moves, appears decent in construction. No adjustable speed...not that I was expecting one, but Newegg wants me to have some cons in right here. There are tiny black clips that hold the wire in to the tiny channel that routes it out to the side. These are removable AND re-insertable if you decide you didn't want to take them out.

I purchased two of these for my antec 300 and put each in the front. Compared to my old case with its old fans, this setup is took off about 10c on almost everything. My motherboard can only manage 2 fans such as the CPU fan, so I have 1 set to about 800rpm and it is just about 100% silent. The other fan that is 100% 񡿆rpm~), it's not silent, but it isn't that big a nuisance that I would drop and egg for. It's not only the fans undertaking that created my temps go down, my old case was dusty and the reality that I changed circumstances produced a difference as well,

Push nearly the same amount of air as the four 5700RPM deltas they replaced without having all the noise! None so far. Using in a custom 120mm fan board in a norco RPC-4220.

I have 3 of these fans pusing air by way of my external radiator. Can't hear them at all. Standing on the other side of the radiator feels like a good breeze blowing by your face. None at all. If you are seeking for a slim, efficient, and quiet fan then this is it. You won't locate much better for the money.

Quiet for how substantially air it moves. Seemed to have a low start out voltage (anecdotal observations, never ever truly measured) Got louder as they began to fail, typical for sleeve bearings. Lasted roughly 2 years running 24ǝ at full voltage. Had 6 in my case, three of the 4 operating full time have failed. Very good fan, but I'm going to opt for a far more robust bearing style this time. May well reuse the remaining working fans in a place that is easy to swap (case door).

Superb noise signature, washed out and non-intrusive. Practically inaudible when undervolted, acceptable at full power. Airflow might not be adequate for some applications - but there are other Slipstream models with larger airflow for that. Some fans go negative in the lengthy run. Six of these operate in unique modes (some non-cease, some cease-and-go) for over a year with no perceptible alter in noise signature.

I bought 2 fans, 1 one worked, the other one seems to make a noise when giving it a swing.I had to press on the fan to make the noise go away, I'm about to reinstall it in my case since it seems to not be doing it anymore.I still give the product 5 stars, for quality & noise level

Move a lot of air I added two to my case to increase airflow, but they had been so loud that I disconnected one, then the other since even at cold temps they were louder than my stock CPU fan at full speed for the duration of high load/temps. I would not get this brand of case fan once again. The three Enermax fans that came with my case are virtually silent, so quiet that you don't even notice the sound of them running unless you're listening for it. The Scythe fans I recieved were loud even at slow speeds.

These fans are not loud at all, and have a decent cfm output. They also match my case :) none I had recently bought two of these fans and couldnt be any happier. I replaced 2 Silverstone fans that could be adjusted to the desired cfm output, but had been way also loud. Very good invest in!

These fans are really quiet and move a decent quantity of air. Prior to these items it sounded like a jet was landing whenever my personal computer was on. Now just a light hum within a few feet of the personal computer. None. I would extremely recommend these.

Working with as exhaust fan and it has dropped my CPU temp by 4C. The old exhaust fan only moved about 34 cfm and my CPU cooler moves 44 cfm, causing warm air to pool between the cooler and the exhaust. This fan resolved that problem. None. It draws a lot more current than my old fan. I ended up moving fan power from mobo sys_fan to the PSU utilizing the provided adapter.

Comment:
Not too pricey. Pushes a solid amount of air. Noise levels compare favorably to a lot much more expensive fans with a certain distinctive color scheme. Runs on low voltage. None that I've skilled as however, nevertheless I can't comment on durability/longevity so far! I have two of these in my case. General I went with a variety of "quiet" fans, 5 total and for the cash, these are the greatest. I can't say that they're vastly additional quiet than other models, and they do have a incredibly mild hum at greater RPMs. Get some of these, run them < 1000 rpm and you should be sitting pretty.
