This was a nice upgrade from my very outdated 80gb 5400RPM drive. It was easy to install, just pop it into the laptop and its ready to go. I had to buy this HDD because my old one died after 4 years of use/abuse. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a moderate upgrade for their computer. I notice some slight vibrations when it is under heavier use, but perhaps its my shaky HP shell. Also the HDD temperature doesn't run any higher than before(average 45C). |

Got this for a SFF PC that uses a SSD for the boot drive. Works well in a 2x2.5 HDD adapter along side the SSD. Only problem is that the connectors are for the two drives are very close and it is hard to plug in the power and SATA connectors. This is not a fault of the drive by any means.
