great price, great controller
Cons: to be nitpicky... it would be nice if it came with more 3pin extenders. I had to buy 4 foot long extenders to reach the controller as I have a large case and most fan wires are fairly short, which I assume is the norm for most peoples setups. Even with the extenders cable management was not easy and some are stretched to their max. I have a Cooler Master Cosmos case. One other thing is it would be nice if it had an rpm display... but it is not necessary and there are other controllers available if you really need that or a temp display.

Pros: Easy installLooks great in my caseLove the brightening LEDs (I have a door on the front of my case so I can shut them out if I want. They are VERY bright)Controls far mroe fans than most other controllers available.Good number of adapters for your oddball fansIt works!
Comment:
only missing a star because I had to pay another $23 for 3pin extenders.

Love it!
Cons: Only 2 3pin fan extensions. Unless your fans naturally have extremely long power cables, prepare to buy some more extensions to reach this controller. Luckily, I had some laying around. The included extensions were bonus in my eyes anyways, so not really a con. 4 front silver screws - would have preferred an all black front panel so as not to clash with the rest of my case's color scheme, but barely a con.

Pros: High quality overall construction, greatly reduced fan noise, non-intrusive front logo. I like that the knobs don't vary in color like a lot of other controllers - only blue.
Comment:
Doesn't turn fans on until knob is turned about half way, but this is a fan power issue not the controllers fault. I paired this up with 6 Thermaltake A2018 120mm fans in my Cosmos S case (w/ window). Those fans are crazy loud when on full blast, but turning the knobs to about 2/3rds and no more issues. Sound is barely noticeable, especially for 6 of them running. If you are in the market for a 6 fan controller then you obviously are aware of how much noise 6 fans can make. This controller does the job well, while still looking stylish and having quality build construction. Get it.

Burning my eyes when I take a look outside
Cons: Sorta tricky to put into my case.. I have a maelstrom btw.. Bright blue knobs may bother those who hate lights or are ocd..

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Feels sturdy and came with a decent amount of cables and screws.
Comment:
You may need different screws than the ones shipped with it to put it in some cases properly.

Solid Unit
Cons: - Extremely bright lights- Fans don't power on until knobs turned about 3/8 of the way

Pros: - Controls up to 6 fans- Sturdy build- Easy installation- Comes with plenty of extensions/converters
Comment:
Overall a very solid unit. Works very well for my quad core setup. I can turn on all my fans for heavy rendering/editing and down for browsing/light PC usage. Fits recessed on the front of my case and it matches well with my CM-690. Highly recommended.

LED's are Crazy Bright
Cons: Only 1 con: the blue LED's are crazy bright when turned up to full. They easily light up a dark room, and are painful if you stare directly at them. Sunbeam should have use low intensity LED's. For the hardcore DIY modder out there: It may be possible to mod this unit to make the LED's less bright, as there appears to be space to solder in additional resistors, but that job would be a royal PITA given the tiny space you have to work in between the knobs and the capacitors.

Pros: 30 watts per channel. Very robust rheobus, can handle 2 fans per channel, although to be safe I only used 1 per channel.
Comment:
I replaced the stock blue LED's with less intense red LED's, but it is a kind of a tough job, as you have to de-solder, remove, re-insert and re-solder 24 LED leads. It took much longer than it is worth IMHO. You might be able to simply bend the stock blue LED's so that they are facing upwards, which may dim them enough to be tolerable, I don't know though, because I didn't try it.

Great Fan Controller
Cons: None

Pros: Easy to install, LED's are not too bright and no too dim, there just right. You can hookup multiple fans to one channel with the high wattage. Still have it, using it, and love it.

Works well, looks good, & easy to install
Cons: None so far. I've been very pleased with this unit.

Pros: This unit performs well, is manufactured well, and looks awesome in your system. If your in the market for a quality fan control unit, then look no further.
Comment:
This unit allows a greater degree of current control over many of the other cheaper controllers.

i love it!
Cons: one of the LEDs flickers a little bit. The range of the knobs far outmatches the range of operational voltages for the fan

Pros: This thing is awesome! more than enough power for my 3 120mm, zalman 9700, 100mm fans, and any more i want to add in the future! The LEDs arent too bright, but i just keep the fans a little lower unless im gaming, so theyre not too bad. they do get bright as heck when theyre on max. but i just close my front case door. seems like good construction, and fits flush in my antec p180b
Comment:
i wish it was a matte black, its got a very glossy finish which doesnt match my 2 black DVD drives

Can't Complain, Works Like It Should
Cons: LEDs are a bit ugly. I know, if you are buying this you should know what you are getting into but the blue light does not match the blue LED color of most case fans. I personally stuck mine behind my case front panel (which opens pretty easily) since I don't touch my settings ever.

Pros: It works like I expect it to. Nothing to complain about here.

carefull with tooless cases
Cons: The heatsinks are pretty high so if you have a tooless case and have to let it sit there and they touch a metal part of your case in an angle then you're scr**ed until you actually find out whats going on, I almost thought it was DOA because of my computer failing to start.

Pros: This is an above average fan controller. it controlls fans up to 30 watts!! thats like 3 and something amps. you could probably use this for a server fan controller. works nicely with delta 190cfm 120mm fan but See other thoughts.
Comment:
The delta fan on this can work with just one channel but the heatsink gets really hot so I would only use the delta fan when I needed to other fans work nicely. I even got the power supply fan on this controller by putting an 80mm delta fan in it and whenever my PSU gets hot or I need a hot air escape too get the air out quickly I just turn up the channel and boom thats 4500RPM's of goodness coming out of my case. Please note that you have to turn the channel up more than halfway for some fans overall this is a very good product, the only one that I think is better is the 1st PC corp lampetron 6 channel 45w fan controller but this one was on sale for 30$ when I got it so yeah and I didn't need the extra watts plus that think is one clunker it reqires 3 molex to power that thing jeez those are three molex that could be used for well... nothing really

Nice for the Price
Cons: -For some reason, fans spun backwards the first few times i used it, if they spun at all. this problem has since fixed itself, I'm not sure how.-LEDs are very bright. not a con to me, but could be to some

Pros: -Simple, clean, understated-30w per channel!-Like the blue LEDs-Six channels-A breeze to set up-Comes with bunches of cable adapters
Comment:
This thing is very nice. I like the LEDs, even though they are pretty bright, but with all the Cathodes I use I don't really notice it anyways. goes very good with the blue LEDs I put in the front fan of my HAF932. If you are looking for a fan controller with plenty of channels and PLENTY of power, this is the one. Especially for this price this thing is great.

Project Rooster Fan Controller
Cons: Worried about heat output but the huge heat sinks should be enough to keep this baby cool. I replaced the blue LEDs with nice RED color LEDs.

Pros: Runs six high power fans for a total of 474 CFM of airflow in my "Rooster" build. LEDs are easy to replace by cutting original LEDs off at the head and cutting then shoving new LEDs into the plastic holders. Just solder the loose ends and you're done. Make sure your polarity is right to the LEDs (had to redo my work cause I wired them backwards). This fan controller does what it's suppose to do.
Comment:
The high power fans need to be turned about half way to kick on. Then you can then throttle them down. This controller was used on the extreme systems Rooster build. Find it under the water section.

Fits in Cosmos 1000 with door
Cons: - The knobs feel a bit cheap- It only comes with two 3-pin to 3-pin fan cables. It also comes with two 3-pin to 4-pin Molex cables and two "RPM signal wires for M/B" that have the yellow sensor wire whip to plug into your motherboard so your it can tell how fast your fans are running. These two cables are made for 4-pin CPU fans, but will work just fine with 3-pin fans. I have 5 3-pin fans, so for two of them I had to use the 3-to-4 pin cable with the 4-to-3 pin adapters that came with my case. For the 5th fan, I used the cable with the sensor wire whip but I yanked out the sensor wire and cut off the whip.

Pros: I got this controller thinking I was going to need to drill new tap holes closer to the front of the unit so that the knobs would fit under the door on my CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 case, but the front-most holes did the trick just fine. The controller itself works as advertised, and though the lights are as bright as everyone says they are, my case door covers them nicely.
Comment:
If anyone else has the Cosmos 1000, you'll have to take off the easy-lock 5.25" push-button mounting things on the case as the heads of the screws included with the controller are too large to fit through the holes that CoolerMaster molded into plastic mounting doodad, but that was pretty easy to do (four clips on the inside of the bay, just pop two of them out).I'm still giving this 5/5 because I'm so happy it worked in my case without lots of extra work.

May the light shine upon you
Cons: The only thing brighter than the knobs on this thing in my room is my monitor.

Pros: Great fan controller. Easy install into and is generally a must for someone wishing to undervolt those noisy fans. Whopping 30w per channel!
Comment:
I have 3 sleeved high RPM Panaflos hooked up to my radiator. Because they were sleeved together I couldn't get high enough cfm to keep my watercooling as cool as I wanted it if they were on a normal 12v string. This 30w per channel controller eliminated that issue and now I'm seeing 25c idle 3.8ghz Phenom II 940BE.

Cheap but very effective
Cons: The knobs feel like they could be pulled off very easily. I noticed a small capacitor on the front that looked like it could snap/pop/explode off at any moment and it probably will if provoked. The LEDs, even when set at medium speed, are very bright and could get extremely annoying if the case is facing directly towards your face.

Pros: Gives full control over fans: knobs full left turns fans off while knobs full right turns fans to max. Impressive black finish and blue LED glow made my case look even better. Includes two 4-pin to 3-pin adapter, two 3-pin to 3-pin extension and two dual 3-pin to 3-pin cables that will accommodate numerous fan designs.
Comment:
For the price, Sunbeam offers a very attractive and functional fan controller. If this goes out on me within the year I could see replacing it with the same model once. When the replacement fails I’ll likely be looking into a different model.

Does what it needs to
Cons: I was expecting a full aluminum outside and not aluminum covered with plastic (not an issue, just an expectation). Also, my largest complaint is there is no way to turn OFF the LED indicators, they are VERY bright. I'm either going to cover the LEDs on the inside or return it. It lights up a whole room at night.

Pros: The fans speed up, they slow down or turn off. It does exactly what it is supposed to. The build quality is good, no real flaws with it.
Comment:
A newer version it'd be nice to have a ON/OFF switch for the LEDs.

Works Well
Cons: Only controls the fans through about 1/2 of the turning spectrum for me. Anything below one half just shuts off my fans.

Pros: Easy InstallVariable Brightness LEDS30-watt support6-channels
Comment:
I wish that it would control the fans through more of the spectrum, and I wish it wouldn't turn them off at the bottom. For example, if it went from 10% power to 100% that would be great.Basically, I would call this a must have for anyone with a high-speed delta fan (I have the 120 Grand High Speed Rev. B @ ~5000 RPMs)Oh, and I should note that, at least with my machine, I lost about 600 RPMs off of my top speed.
