The temperature sensor makes all the difference, 3 or 4 pin, and you can only hear it if it gets left on for a really extended time. I liked it so a lot I got another! Right here? NO! The fan in my parents computer stopped functioning and I was the initially a single they came to see about it. I produced confident to get something with a threeǚ pin connector in case their 3 pin was broken (which it was). I installed it about 5 months ago and it is nonetheless working completely. I was so pleased with it that I replaced my old case fan with one particular of these and so far it works good!

The Fan is quiet seems to adjust to temperture quite properly. I am installed it for a friend on a older dell deminsion 4100. It poped correct into the holder. This fan essentially cools to the P3 933 processor by means of a Duct. Functions Good. The power connector is a regular power that you use for Drives and it has a Speed sensor or temp sensor yellow wire to the mother board. They ought to have tied power to that one particular to. But you can use any of the drives energy connector to pass thru energy. Good Product All round

Comments: I ordered this fan Saturday evening and recieved it today on Tuesday morning via FedEx saver shipping. I installed this fan to replace the factory junker that was wearing out in my XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and couldn't be more pleased. It's quite quiet and produces much more airflow in the box. I've had it in now for about 3 hours and my temps have been decreased 3 to five degrees. Excellent cost, lifetime warrenty, and rapidly great service from New Egg. I can't beat that! From now on I'm purchasing from these guys. New Egg rocks!

Good airflow at somewhat low noise. I require airflow and don't mind some noise--the silent Computer variety fans just won't move air like I need to have them to, but I can\'t stand any fan like a Tornado or higher power Delta...this is a pleased medium. None for me..the noise/airflow ratio is great...not appropriate for a silent Computer freak, though. Good worth for an individual who requirements to move more air than most stock instances do, but doesn't want to be deafened by their Computer. The 3 pin connectors and thermostat are incredibly nice too.

Moves a decent amount of air. For what I required this isnt cutting it. I was concerned about some of the noise critiques concerning the Tornado. But my system can only match 2 of these fans and these two were the higest cfm I could locate. I really should of bought the Tornado.

Not terrible with speed around 1800rpm to 2000rpm, not also noisy at idle. Hold temp at about 32 -35c. Great replacement to stock 92mm fan. Average price compared to competitor's fan. Standard low cost plastic fan.

VANTEC TF9225 92mm Case Fan
Comment:
The fan is low cost, and does what it is suppose to do which is move air, and adjust to unique temperatures. The auto adjustment is also a con nevertheless. The fan likes to get higher when your Pc reaches 25C. Even larger and larger after that so at some point it gets Very loud. Moves air yes, if you dont mind the noise then get the fan due to the fact it does its job nicely. Even so if you do mind noise like I do, this is NOT the fan for you. Likes to get to more than 4000 RPM's. Even with speed fan to turn it down it nonetheless likes to get loud after some time. The only purpose i knocked an egg off is because this is opinionated. Nice value, the auto adjustment however demands some operate.

Effortless to set up in Dell Dimension 4550 with 4 screws provided. Quiet adequate. Double ball bearing. Evaluation information at Newegg is fantastic. Does not offer correct current from fan to motherboard to indicate fan is functioning. Utilised the information from "Router's" overview on this web page under to modify current. Soon after reading his assessment I purchased the fan from Dell pondering they would for certain have an adapter for their computer systems. They didn't. So I paid 50% more because I didn't buy it from Newegg. I advocate you obtain from Newegg. See other thoughts. My Dell Dimension fan serial quantity was the exact same as "Router's" in assessment beneath. Old fan resistance to motherboard connecting wire measured 2300 ohms. This new fan has a resistance of 3100 ohms. Calculating the quantity of resistance needed for an added resistor (instead of the LED applied by Router) to connect in parallel from black wire to the yellow motherboard wire came to 9000 ohms. I purchased a 5-pack of 4.7 kOhm resistors from RS and soldered two collectively to get a total of 9400 ohms. Attached the combined resistors from the black wire to the yellow wire. It functions. I no longer have the fan detect error message at WinXP boot-up. Once more, purchase from Newegg.

I installed this to the back screen hole of my DELL 9150.Males I can tell you this blower is very good. The temp sensor really reacts to the temperature inside your computer and would spin rapidly when surroundings is hot. And to be truthful is not really that loud, and it does push tons of air out! None!

* Ball-bearing ƒ)* Devoted power provide 4-pin & RPM* Heat sensor auto-controls RPM* Fairly quiet* Far better performance than my stock fan hmm...* If you want to acquire front fan four your case, (IMO) it's better to purchase a fan with no the sensor. This 1 operates best as the back fan (due to the heat sensor)* Given that the sensor requires handle RPM, I can't control it through SpeedFan any a lot more. But this is not truly the Con due to the fact + The sensor genuinely functions, not for show+ It performs superior than my old fan (lower case temp. about 3-four*C in my knowledge) NewEgg delivers quickly !
