Attractive, quiet, cost-effective, keeps my CPU cool. Overclocking my Q6600 @ 3.2GHz and the temp does not rise past 45c whilst playing games. It's like 31c idle. Adore it. This thing is enormous, make positive you have room. I have a Antec 900 case, it fit perfectly. If you plan on overclocking any processor with a LGA 775 socket, I extremely recommend this cooler.

Keeps my CPU great and Cool, It's quiet, Looks cool in my case, LED isn't too brilliant. Perhaps a con for some people, but don't get this 1 if you have to have a super bright flashy LED. This 1 is far more low-Important, which worked out excellent for me.

Huge which is usually a excellent quality in a heatsink. Looks definitely wonderful. If I get the rebate than this thing is a great deal. Turning the screws is challenging simply because the heatsink finds get in the way.Fan was not precisely parallel with the heatsink itself. That was wierd but I guess it ought to nevertheless function correctly. Order placed on Monday and item received on Tuesday.

So significantly far better than the stock AMD cpu fan that came with my 955 BE. Literally core temp has gone down 8-ten degrees C. It's much much more quiet than the stock fan as nicely. Installation was effortless. Less difficult than the stock fan. Blue led lights make me pleased, while that is irrelevant. None personally. I can see exactly where some folks may possibly have an concern fitting this big guy into their rig. The dual heat sinks take up some space. Personally, it fit fine in my case and it's a fairly average midtower ATX.

* Cools my i7 950 fairly well* Looks nice when in operation* Very sturdy * As so many other have said, the fins are extremely sharp and will cut you if you're not careful for the duration of installation* Installing on my 1366 board was a discomfort - took me a solid hour to get points specifically how I wanted them This is a nice cooler but my largest gripe is that the installation was extremely annoying for me. My i7 950 currently idles in the low 30's which bothers me a bit and tends to make me want to re-seat the cooler but I've but to build up the motivation to do it just because I fear going by means of the install procedure once more.

Easy mount on my AM2, My CPU runs sooooooo cool. I can not pressure that enough! It runs (according to SIW) subsequent to if not a couple degrees above space temp. My old heat sink got actually hot when overclocking...not with this 1 though. This is a should. it is fairly major, you have to be cautious when installing.

Simple to install on AMDsQuietNeat to look at BigSharp edges A lot less complicated to install than the V8.A lot quieter than the V835C stock to 29C at idleI am having memory troubles at this time so I can't give full load tempts, but the little bit that Prime 95 did run the temp came up slowly compared to the stock cooler

Keeps my AMD 965 at 30*C Idle and 40-43*C under load, whats even better is those temps are with it over-clocked from 3.four to three.9Ghz. This cooler genuinely blew my thoughts, I've always used stock coolers and this genuinely showed me how considerably an soon after industry cooler assists with cooling and receiving that higher tier of over-clock.Blue LED is also nice, fits well with the other LED fans I have in my case (your mileage may well very here). Comes with a few distinct brackets for all your socket desires. The AMD bracket was quite simple to install. I can see it being future proof too if they release new brackets when needed. Like other individuals have said, its big...check your case prior to getting. I felt dumb in the shop when I had to ask somebody to aid me uncover it, when it was suitable in front of my face. I didn't consider that was it for becoming how large it was. Right after I got household and installed it the leading of the cooler was in fact touching my side case fan, had to obtain a 92x15mm to give it some space. Not going to take an egg off though, the old fan was obtaining near death anyways and I should have checked prior to hand, but it all worked out. I purchased this at a local retailer for about the same price as newegg has it. (Couldn't wait for the shipping time, got impatient through the holidays :D)

Large and cool. You're finding you're income's worth with the quantity of copper on this beast. I run at a constant 45 celsius at 730rpm. It's practically dead quiet. . . . practically Even at 730rpm, this fan nonetheless manages to make far more noise than I hoped for. It's just a slight whistly hum, but just sufficient to make me not satisfied. It's louder than my case fan and my PS fan combined. I was trying to build a DEAD SILENT machine, but this fan keeps it from that. Take me the right way, this is an great item, and it is incredibly silent and I will surely order a lot more for future workstations. It just didn't make the cut for my excellent silent machine.

Very successful: Cooled my boiling Phenom II (stock fan) by 30 degrees Celsius [Idle 55-60 to 30-35, Under Load 68-75 to 40-45]. I know those beginning temps are ridiculous so it won't do that for everyone. After install I OC’d from three. GHz to 3.8 and temps only rose a few degrees.Incredibly quiet: Based on the size it appears incorrect that this thing isn’t buzzing like a lawn mower. It’s quiet specifically with the resistor cable installed.Really uncomplicated install [AMD]: I was worried when I saw it needed a back plate on the motherboard meaning you might have pull the motherboard out. Luckily that's only correct for Intel CPU's. If you have the later AMD sockets it just clips proper on no need to have for the back plate.Extremely attractive: With the fascinating style and the LED it looks like a jet engine when installed absolutely good if you have a window. Extremely complete: It comes with attachments to fit most sockets, thermal paste, and resistor cable. Big: I couldn’t think it when I saw the shipping weight was pretty much 4 lbs. It’s genuinely massive and heavy and might not function in all instances. It wasn’t so significantly a con for me since it worked in my case but it positive does limit access to other components now.Expensive: ๖ is absolutely on the higher finish of the price scale but after see my outcomes it’s a pill I’ll swallow. This cooler is definitely not for everybody given the price, size, and performance. You could in all probability get away with one thing less costly … but why? It’ll be worth the additional bucks when you see it blazing blue in your rig. It’s an exceptional cooler. Buy it.

It really is low-noise and it looks completely lovely. It is suprisingly light too, specifically compared to the I7 stock cooler. To date I don't believe it has ever had to run at high speed (aside from the typical full speed in the course of boot).Price! The copper fins are sharp. Careful. Makes it a little tricky mounting it as you don't want to be bleeding all over your board... CPU Cooler is 1 of those choices that you can devote a lot of time toiling more than. I know I did. As it is, I am rather pleased with my choice. My rig:Antec Nine Hundred TwoI7-970Intel DX58SO BoardIntel X-25 160gb SSDEVGA GTX 460 SEG.Skill DDR3 PC1600 3x2Corsair 750w PSU

I actually had to watch a video to get the installation instructions straight in my head. Much more involved than my last cooler, but definitely bound to the CPU for efficient heat transfer. It's quiet, all copper and blue. I have to take a star only because of slightly more involvement of installation.

Interesting looking, excels at cooling, comes with tube of thermal grease. Quiet. Effective. Huge. Read your case specs for max height, this cooler is five.59" in height (which will hit some side fans on specific circumstances such as the P193) and 4.88" wide. Didn't genuinely need the blue LED lights on the fan. Be cautious plugging issues in near this heatsink. The copper fans are similar to dull razor blades and you'll know it if you brush your knuckles along it. :)

Easy to install on an AM3 system/mainboard, comparatively quiet, has my program operating very cool. It does not "fit" snugly inside the stock AM3 frame. I would have replaced the plastic on my Gigabyte mainboard if it produced sense but it did not seem to have the hardware to do so. So the assembly is susceptible to some sliding at this point. I am confident that will subside when the thermal paste cures. Worth the cost.

Silent, space and weight efficient, solid high quality, 4 pin PWM fan, looks excellent, works good. Installation procedure is a bit awkward I've employed virtually a dozen diverse heat sinks, and I believe these are the ideal. This thing runs cool though taking minimal space, and the four pin fan runs silently below my motherboard's fan control. Even with the case open, it's virtually silent at a foot away.

Great seeking cooler, well built, quiet, exceeds expectations. Relative simple install on AMD ( See other thoughts). Immediate 30% drop in idle temp. (resistor cable-- see other thoughts) I have generally utilised the AMD stock coolers on 30+ builds. My initial expectation was only about two or 3 degrees celsius but I got 11C from the get go!! I could not think the improvement. Genuinely shocked how well this performed. Thermal compound? Incredibly comparable to the paste that came on my stock hs fan from amd for my x4 965. Incredibly challenging to spread. I have used a number of compounds but never ever 1 this heavy. I was concerned that It was too old and dried out. I had to eliminate cpu just to get a superior spread. Following the instant temp drop I am not concerned, I was just worried about having to pull this monster out and do it once again. I am convinced I COULD NOT have completed any superior with Artic Silver five. Wonderful. This is fairly straight forward install on AMD. No back plate necessary and no require to eliminate mobo. My case is an older Apevia X Cruiser mid case. Plenty of room and nonetheless have decent air flow. Due to the fact of the size of the cooler I had to eliminate the power supply, vid card, rear exaust fan and a couple of sata cables to get enough finger room to attach the retaining clip on the beast. The clip anchored it securely and I got not cuts. I could not have installed without removal of those items!! I initially installed the included resistor cable but the fan is quiet enough with out decreasing the rpm's so I took it off. The removal lowered my temp even more particularly at the high end. My amd X4 965 BE oc at three.four had an idle of 38c with the stock AMD cooler. With the Zman it is 27c. I am at present running three.9 ghz really stable with idle at 38c and prime95 torture test max temp was 57c but average was 54c. Really pleased. This exceeded my expectations.AMD X4 965 BEGigabyte 890FXA-UD5
