none This cooler bricked my Asus EAH5870 2DIS GD5/AI saw the other evaluations for this point and like other folks I believed the complaints about bricking cards was from individuals who didn't know what they have been performing or messed something up. Now its occurred to me. The worst aspect is I have no idea what essentially triggered this cooler to brick my 5870. I checked prior to installing the card that correct gpu speak to was created, I created certain the FET heatsink wouldn't brief out my VRMs. I can no longer get a signal to my monitor from the card even though. Just a black screen and no signal detected. Stay away from this cooler if you value your video card. I am really disappointed in this item from Zalman. Dropped my idle temps on my 5870 from 40c to 26c. My max temps are barely hitting 50c. Simple to set up. Did not run into any concerns whatsoever. I want the fan could be connected directly to the videocard board. I could do without having the external fan speed controller. Would be a lot superior to plug straight to videocard board and manage fan speed via an App.

Dropped GPU temps on my GTX 480 by 22 degrees vs. stock cooler. It's also practically silent even beneath load! Wouldn't want to own the card I have without this! Installation needs at least 3 brain cells. These folks reviewing this cooler as undesirable and claiming they are "computer techs" with "engineering degrees" are either lying, or ought to have failed college. The over all setup is nice copper pipes with aluminum fins Excellent layout for heat dissipation good dual 92mm fans and also comes with some realy nice ram heatsinks. not realy any but retain in thoughts you should have 3 slots open or it will not match. i see to several ppl qq about how a good things that reack there rig due to there will to rush factors and or lack of understanding.

This dropped my GPU temperature by 20c. The stock cooler on my Diamond ATI 5850 HD was definitely garbage. By applying this cooler, my overall operating temperature dropped to 29c with a single monitor, and 38c with dual monitor. The manual manage for fan speed doesn't genuinely do much for lowering temperature. The all round gains supplied by the cooler are not due to the fan.

Looks fantastic, cools excellent, zalman items are usually awesome. Silent and its ATI red, coulda put red led fans on the fans to really make it all seemless but the blue led's are subtle and not too vibrant. Mosfet heatsink did not fit but this seriously isn't a con, it was a non reference HIS IcoolerV card, I just kept the stock one particular on.Ramsinks.... do not stick very well, down the road I could just place copper sinks on it anyway. Not sufficient thermal paste for what is prescribed to be used on, but thats no biggy I have tons of ac5 and other off brand silver stuff. Not a large con but for wiring sakes.... fan speed controller, they're cool to get and have but are useless and I retain em for quick fan cords in other computer's other than my primary a single. I just ran it to the mobo connector (and generally get a few additional rpm out of em by undertaking this) It didn't brick my card..... guess why, I applied my brain and essentially made certain the heatsink was creating contact with the gpu... It has cooled 5850 idle to 31c and under load in furmark 51c. It employed to run 46c and 77c. i have the fan 50% and dont hear it. none Installation it super straightforward. I was concerned when reading other evaluations but no difficulties at all.

Flashy and nicely made, very quiet and incredibly successful. Makes my xfx 5850 card in fact seem like a high quality item now. The installation was quite uncomplicated as properly. It is extremely big, but not a dilemma if you do your homework. The big FET heatsink didn't fit my non-reference, el cheapo, xfx card. I just used the stock 1, which actually was a non-issue. Anybody who bricks their card with this item either doesn't comply with the directions, or doesn't know the suitable way to operate with static sensitive laptop or computer elements. I am no computer system genius, but I had zero concerns or moments of doubt. I do feel it prudent to examine zalman's web site for the list of compatible cards, due to the fact some non-reference, 5000 series cards may well not be capable to use all the heatsinks.

Looks excellent,but can't comment on functionality as my 5850 no longer performs immediately after installing it for some purpose although it was installed meticulously and appropriately... Bricked my two month old 5850. Don't know how as I followed the instructions to a tee.I've never had a difficulty employing coolers on other video cards and all sorts of different cpu coolers over the years till this... :( No idea what to do now with my non-operating 2 month old 5850! I utilised nitrile gloves and followed the instructions cautiously and appropriately, (I've installed a handful of dozen+ vga and cpu coolers with no difficulties however.)

Great cooling, operating 25c at idle and no a lot more than 40c under load. Fans run fairly, even at fall speed. Cools Actually nicely. Also quite quiet. Installed on my reference 5850 which runs at 950񳁮 @ 1.2vStock temps were 51C idle and 83C load on Furmark.VF3000A temps are now 34C idle and 59C load. This cooler is really genuinely massive. The cooler hits my SATA ports. The thermal tape on the ramsinks are just tedious, they do not perform at all. Also the fan likes to hit the red shroud, so a small bending is essential.
