I purchased this to replace the Northbridge fan on an Asus A8n-Deluxe motherboard.Temperature of the Northbridge chip has not risen above 34C considering that installation.Able to hold off on an upgrade a small longer... A little tedious attempting to get the brackets adjusted just correct ahead of attaching to the motherboard.Had to eliminate MB from situation to eliminate the old fan :( This heat sink is surely worth the hassle of removing the MBoard. The dilemma was the heatsink was so tiny that i wasn't positive this would fit (and it barely did).
