Size issues
Comment:
I have a Socket 775 MOBO and this cooler doesn't fit. The heat pipes stick out too far in the direction it is supposed to go and if you put it in a direction that fits, the heat pipes cause too much heat and shuts down the system.

Where's the lights?
Comment:
Got it today and it's as pictured but without the leds? I got it specifically for the light in my clear case. Big letdown.

Very satisfied with purchase
Comment:
This cooling system works very well cooling my Intel Core 2 quad processor. Some have said it doesn't spin fast enough, but I've discovered that it adjusts to the heat load. The fan speeds up when the processor is hot and slows when it cools. Best system I've used on my home built computers yet.

excellent cpu fan
Comment:
this is a well made fan. cools much better than the intel fans. has a blue led light that would be cool with a clear sided case. very quiet, i had to take the side off to make sure it was spinning. usual tiger direct fast shipping.

Nice Fan But?
Comment:
Fan is to bulky to fit on motherboard and in case so I used the fan that came with the CPU.

LOVE this CPU cooler
Comment:
I bought two of them, both work excellently and are SUPER quiet! I OC the heck out of my e8200 and e8400 and keeps under 45-50c idle no problem, under 60c when loaded.

not a bad cooler for the bucks
Comment:
put this one a biostar Tpower 145 motherboard running a intel dual core processor. first off this cooler is bigger than it looks. just a bit of tight squeeze getting it past biostars chip set cooler. relatively quiet when used with smart fan setting in bios. keeps cpu at about 40 degree centagrade. performance could be a little better but for the price its a good value.

Quiet
Comment:
Replaced an evercool fan that was really loud. Nice easy install as I use the exsisting mounting bracket from the evercool. Quiet, I can't even tell it's on. CPU Temps are about the same 40-50C. System is P4 3.4 with 4 GB

Nice
Comment:
Nice heat sink for the money. Looks pretty cool too with it's bright chrome appearance. Keeps my Intel quad Q9300 (overclocked to 3.2GHz) at about 42 Celsius under load and about 24 Celsius idle. That's around 100F. Comes super close to my RAM on an ASUS P5Q. The thermal grease was thick! I chose to use it for 2 reasons. 1 I couldn't find my Radio Shack grease & 2 even though it was like Play Dough it should be a better quality than the white Radio Shack cream! Also rather than try to spread the included grease with my finger OR A BUTTER KNIFE! I chose to apply in a few key locations on the CPU (center mainly and some dots around the center) then letting the pressure of the cooler being tightened + heat off the CPU oughta be good enough. So far so good. Awesome cooler.

Works well with correct motherboards...
Comment:
Tried this on a Gigabyte MB - worked great to cool a P4 3.8GHz processor but couls only be installed in one direction due to the heat pipes sticking out so far horizontally from the baseplate, and the one way it would mount still had the pipes sitting right on the row of solid capacitors next to the processor socket. Ended up changing to a Noctua which is VERY tall but rises rapidly from the baseplate. As long as your MB has room around the processor, this one cools really well for the money.

For the price this fan does very well. Keeps my CPU temp in the low to mid 40's even at high demand in a a 27C room. Blue LED's look nice and it is very quiet.

Great Results
Comment:
Bought this to replace the stock cpu cooler on my 3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo(E8400). Core temps used to hover around 56c while playing Crysis on high settings, but now after installing the new ZEROtherm CF800 cpu cooler, my core temps dropped to 38c. That used to be my idle temp which has now dropped to 25c. Whooohooo!!! Looks great and isnt too loud. Very satisfied with my purchase.

So this is my first review for tiger parts. I will try to write more of them. Basically, I'm a teen that builds and repairs computers. And recently I had a client that had a '01 dell that was just to slow. So I got them a Pentium Dual Core e2200. and 2 gigs of Kingston value ram. Basic office/home set-up tried to keep it under 300. I gave them my old heat sink from my Pentium D. (I got liquid-cooling, which is AMAZING!) Problem was the old fan was to noisy. Got them this one. SILENT!! Prime95 at 47 both cores. I think thats pretty frosty for a dual-core. The heatpipes stick out a bit. So you might have to get creative w. placement. I positioned them a bit over a chipset cooler. OH and get arcticsilver thermal paste. The one that comes with is too dried out and hard to work with.

This is a big fan so make sure you have clearance for your memory. Runs real low at start-up at 800 rpm and only 1240 at 40C. Been working for over 6 months.

I bought this fan for a barebone kit by accident. I put the wrong one in the cart. I got home and read the reviews and got kinda scared. I went ahead and installed it anyway and not only does it make my guts look nice but im running at 24 - 25c at all times.

Comment:
For the price of this cooler, its not bad, just not the best either. It fits my XFX 630i microATX mobo, but you'll need to install your memory sticks first, then put on the cooler. Its VERY quiet which is nice but its cooling capabilities aren't the best if you are a serious over clocker. I added a high speed case fan which did take the heat out of the case and lower my CPU's temps.

I have to give this product a perfect rating, my CPU was overheating a lot during minor game play & video editing, I installed this unit & I'm running an average of about 15 to 18 degrees (Celcius) cooler than before. Very easy to install, only problem I encountered was one of the heat pipes run close to a diode on the mobo, easy to remedy & now I have a much cooler system to show for it. Very quiet & the polished heatsink & blue LED makes the guts look a bit nicer, definite good buy!

I bought this fan a couple month's ago. The fan and heatsink is awesome, I have gone through many fan's in my time. And this fan for 29.00 buck's is the best one i have seen so far and the price is amazing!!!my Q6600 at idle 20 to 23 on load 35 to 39c. ONe thing you have to mount it just right to get the best result's. once i got this fan and sink i overclocked from 2.40ghz to 3.70 and like i said on idle it's at 20 to 23 and i have tested with multiple sensers. thank's TD and ZEROTHERM
