I relised my brother's PSU didnt have a 6 pin PCI-E connecter simply because its an older Antec 550w truepower.So i purchased this cable. I accedentally bought this when I needed a 8-pin for a motherboard, Even so I can see this being quite beneficial for SLI Video cards to convert to their energy. Thick wireing tends to make it really challenging to bend. Effectively, At least I have it for the future.

Worked as intended. Pins inside the Molex connecters are kinda wonky. Not seated incredibly strongly and kinda point off in differing directions, but didn't quit me from getting able to use it.

Newegg's service and shipping had been superb as often. As JDMopar stated, the PCI-Express connector on this point is non-regular. It DOES NOT Match in an nvidia based card. Not certain what Buck connected his to, but it wasn't a Geforce 7900 series or 8800 series video card. Due to the fact, it will not match! Worthless garbage. But simply because it was so low-cost, no one sends it back. Perhaps this is Logisys' company model. Sell garbage that doesn't perform, but at a cost so low that it isn't worth the hassle to get your income back.

Does its job. Male pins are not seated tightly within the connector. They are entirely loose making it challenging to insert connector. Would not buy this model once more. Have utilized adapters in the past from unique companies. Most are embedded in the connector with tiny to no movement.

A great product to place that tiny Molex adapter to use. I remind folks that this is a 6pin adapter, so don't attempt and use it for a Tough Drive or CD Rom Drive :-) it could always be less costly ;-)
