From everything I've read about this processor, its great quality for the price. Unfortunately, mine was Dead On Arrival. I've taken up a warranty claim with AMD so they can check it out. Hopefully its replaced and I can give a better review! For anyone interested in a decent upgrade for an FM2+ motherboard at an affordable price, I do recommend this processor. Just do some research on the benchmarks for it. :D

Cons: Uses a lot of Watts for what it is....but idle its fine.

Pros: Value for money! Great HTPC gamer! PCIE3.0
Comment:
Bought it with a cheap Gigabyte mATX MB and a 92mm(fan size) tower cooler. I some memory(2x4GB DDR3-2133) and a 3yr old HD7970 kicking around, decided to build a cheap NASbox, kind of turned into a HTPC now. It runs a little hot, most likely due to the 95W TDP, but not an issue after adding some more case fans, mATX cases tend to have poor airflow, so can't really say its the CPU's fault. Its not bad at stock speeds/voltages, but I wouldn't OC it myself. I am able to keep it cool, but at the expense of sound, so I choose to keep my CPU and GPU at default speeds, but for even high/highest settings in 1080P, not bad honestly. Although my system kills em at 1600x900, and at over 5 feet away with my 58" TV, I can't tell the difference. What really surprised me is this CPU is on par with an i7 920, yes its 5 years old tech, but still, not a bad CPU. I do a little bit of recording internet streams and it works pretty fast, very impressed! My main rig is a 4930K, 32GB DDR3-2400, SLI 970's, so to say for general usage and light-medium duty work loads this keeps up, that's impressive! I bought this at first as an always on DLNA server, but its fast enough to serve as more! I really wanted one of those anniversary pentiums, but this has 8x SATA3, how could I not? I really love the FM2+, but I really didn't want an APU, this CPU just makes sense for what I was looking far. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-25-15 01:06 PM

Cons: -was hoping for better OC headroom, but it performs really well at its peak stable clocks, so can't complain really.

Pros: -Games very well-Great price/performance-Overclocks well, if not great (max stable day to day 4.5ghz)
Comment:
I upgraded my main HTPC build to the FM2+ platform last fall. It has served me really well in my main gaming rig, combined with a CLub3D r9 270 in an mATX build. It runs my HTPC, which is my main computer, for day to day stuff very quickly and efficiently. It games very well even at stock speeds, but with a mild OC, shows some impressive gains in gaming ability.I didn't get my CPU from NCIX, but the rest of the build I did (was available locally when NCIX still had a back order).

Cons: Most motherboards will require you to update  the bios before it can post. I learned this the hard way by thinking the motherboard was defective.

Pros: Perfect for the price. It does anything that you can hope for from a cpu in this price range. I can game and edit videos with little to no problems at all.
Comment:
Wonderful cpu for gaming and video editing at a fairly affordable price. Only downside is the need to purchase or use another cpu to perform the bios update.

Finally received 2 days ago not compatible with the board i purchased (Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H) so wont know if it works properly until i take it to the local pc shop to get a bios update . make sure you have an older fm2 processor on hand most boards need bios update  from what i gathered online. cpu its self looks to be in great shape hopefully it works well.

Cons: Wasnt compatible with my motherboards bios out of the box

Pros: Great performance for a 80-100 dollar CPU
Comment:
So far I have really enjoyed using this processor because its a good deal faster than my previous one. The only downside was that I had to purchase another low-end fm2 socket CPU to update  my MOBO's bios.

This has been ABSOLUTELY awesome. I got it at a great price and it has done everything that i've asked. It's now overclocked to 4.6ghz g1.48v but keeps cool under my h60 AIO.Currently running with two R9 270x GPUs and DDR3 2133mhz memory.Great CPU for the money!

Cons: Cheapish cooler

Pros: Price, value
Comment:
For the price these are pretty deadly little processors. Great for any build on a budget. Not as fast as a new-gen Intel quad core, but still quite good.
