Cons: None so far
Pros: Immediately recognized using Cable select and Slave setting on two systems Comment:
Was able to successfully clone a Seagate 120GB IDE drive to Hitachi 400GB SATA drive setting it as a slave to the Seagate's master setting. So far very satisfied with it's performance |

Cons: nothing bad to say about it
Pros: Used these on a number of upgrades and they worked perfect every time.slim design fits in all systems Comment:
I've even used this in systems where the SATA wasn't reading correctly and there were still PATA ports available. Haven't had any issues with these devices (I have used 3 so far). Would highly recommend this to anyone that is upgrading older non-SATA systems but don't want to spend the extra on a PATA drive. |

Cons:
a little pricey, but cheaper then buying an IDE HDD
Pros: Small, easy to install, no drivers needed. what more can I say it works good Comment:
I was setting up an older pc with no sata support as a Windows Home Server and had a spare 250gb Samsung Sata drive kicking around. So I installed and bios recognized it right away on auto, started my windows home server OS and the drive was visible. all is good. Will try a larger hdd when I have more $$$, I would recommended this to keep your older pc up and running. |

Cons: none
Pros: Easy installation, no drivers required, works as advertised Comment:
I installed this on an old P4 system that had a failing 200GB IDE drive, the old mobo had no SATA support. I installed it with a new 500GB SATA drive. The combo was less costly than a smaller IDE drive. |

Cons: No apparent weaknesses to this point.
Pros: Very well priced. Comment:
I wanted to upgrade my older computer with a new hard drive. The old one was an IDE drive and I replaced it with a SATA drive. With this product I was able to upgrade to SATA with no problem. Just install and it works. |

Cons: Depending on how much room you have in your case it might be a tight squeeze if there is an optical drive directly above your hard drive.
Pros: Easy installation, includes all needed cables. Comment:
Purchased this for a system that has no SATA ports and a failed IDE drive. Paired it with a 320GB Seagate 7200.12 SATA Drive and a Foxconn 661MXPlus motherboard (at least two years old from this posting). No problems installing Windows XP Pro and I didn't notice a performance difference from any other PC I've ever installed Windows XP on. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-07-10 05:19 PM |

Cons: does not work like it says it does.poor suport from Addonics
Pros: If it worked I could give it a review but since it never worked I can't give any strengths Comment:
Tried hooking this up with an older computer and a new hard drive and it would not recognize the drive at all.seams to power up but that's all.may need newer computer for it to work. documentation was non existant and little support from original manufacture.made several attempts to contact then for compatibility info and they never replied |
Nothing special to say except they work as advertized. Baught 2 of these.
