Used this in my first build. Runs fast and stays cool with the included fan. Using Windows 7 64 bit and even under heavy load never goes above 30%.

clock for clock it will preform just like the phenom II x4, no big difference even though it is lacking the L3 cache. a lil tweaking you can do a nice overclock and it will still run cool

Got this as a asus m4a785-m combo as my first build. can't say enough. good deal easy to oc,currently at 3.2 could go more with a better cooler a friend mine had his up to 3.8 stable with watercooler. sweet at any rate if you dont have the bucks to spend on a intel chip.

Fastest processor I have used, can be compared to an I5 661 at 3.33GHz at a much better price.

Love this thing. It freaking flies. Gave me a 7.1 in the Windows rating thingy. The cpu hardly ever jumps above 20% and i have never seen it above 50%.

I bought this with my motherboard and for the price of all of it.. hey, it was well worth it. been using this CPU for about a month and now i know why I buy AMD only lol the price was a perfect range for me and the performance is just amazing. I overclocked this to 3.3, idle temp at 46 - 49 (aircooled). I was surprised the stress it took. An love it. AMD baby! lol

My first one came defective, kept overheating and shutting down the PC after 30 seconds. Thermal paste wasn't the problem. Hopefully the second one I ordered today will work as well as the other reviewers claim :)

A quad for less than a Benjamin? A gaming rig for less than 500? Why yes, you can do it easily. I paired this up with a cheap mobo, 4gb ram, a gts250 gpu and threw some games at it to see what would happen. Guess what.. Amazing performance, plus it overclocks well with a decent cooling solution, who would have thought you could do so much for so little. Get this if you want bleeding edge but work minimum wage, because even you could afford something this awesome.

Bought this with a Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H AMD785G Socket AM2 MB MOBO and it is very fast and perfect for my daughter. I was jealous that it runs quieter and faster than mine.

unlocked 6mb at L3 cache using ACC on a 790GX, and SB780 motherboard. Basically, have a Phenom II. Great chip for the $$$.
