It's a good device and all but not working with Windows 8 is really not cool. The range of this device is really good, it went through two walls with out loosing a signal. My speed was reasonable at 2mb. It's just as good as my Network card. |

Got it in super sale (and price match). It works so great with my linksys E4200. Streaming from Netflix and tou.tv at full quality with no problem... I am afraid of breaking it if I leave it in the front of my PC. But, in the back, I feel more safe. Very fast connection to my network. Software is easy to use. |

Got this on sale for $30 roughly and it's been wroking great so far ever since I got it. Mainly picked this up because I read about using the same brand for wireless and connecting to its router for better performance so I stuck with this. |
This is dual band, but not simultaneous dual band. Not a negative, but it should be noted.I have only tested the 5 Ghz band using WPA-2 with AES encryption. Signal passed through two walls, and a fridge that is blocking a direct line (not that it matters much). Total distance, only about 30 feet. MS Windows 7 WIFI signal meter shows almost full bars at this distance. Under these conditions, Speedtest dot net showed the download speed about 15 mega bits per second (my wired desktop did the same at just over 20 mega bits per second).Hope this helps.
