Looks great. One of the finest agp cards on right here for a decent value. Like how the heat-sync covers the memory as effectively, and the fan really should help hold it cool. Plus i bought a pci slot fan to go with it which need to assist as well. two outputs is generally a plus, as it tends to run more quickly with only one particular monitor, or you can multi monitor without having obtaining to add a second card (and very good luck with crossfire if it isn't two of *EXACTLY* the same card, as there's a likelihood of burning out each of them). OpenGL two.0and directX 10.1 is a must on right now's gaming marketplace. Slow processing of the order, but maybe that has to do with the truth that i placed the order on a friday night... can't wait to get this! i can't think that with such a high buy price there are NO evaluations yet.

When the card worked the graphics had been smooth and not jumpy like my old card. Even though troubleshooting the various BSOD's like the constant ati2dvag.exe error my card worked for about 5-10 minutes ahead of my computer difficult locked every single time. I attempted a lot of suggested fixes from a variety of web sites and ultimately discovered ATI's three web page list of fixes which suggested removing all cards and even RAM from my pc to troubleshoot this video card. I am sorry but a single should not have to do that to get their video card working. I have returned the card for a refund. Manufacturer Response:Really feel totally free to e-mail me straight and I'll be additional than delighted to help you. My e-mail is hugo@powercolor.com. I would like to know more about your technique and configuration so I can support you troubleshoot this issue. Thanks.-Hugo

Dual Channel GPU AGP Card. Vistaƃ Aero compatible. Runs most of my games on higher to max video setting. Performs good below stress, and even came with clock controls in the driver pack. Supports HDR screen effects or up to 4x anti aliasing at any resolutions (I've had weaker cards that supported up to 16x at reduced resolutions, but 4x appears to be all you want with this terrible boy...). Doesn't seeem to function effectively (BSOD's) without having Direct X 10 or greater. Generates *ALOT* of heat at agp 8x transfer price, and it's a rather massive card, so you may want to enhance airflow or turn it down to agp4x in Catalyst Manage Center. Or each if your program is dangerously hot currently ࿗C+). And it nonetheless runs rather on the warm side at AGP 4x, but doesn't get as hot. This is one particular *HOT* card, and I do imply *HOT*! You may possibly want to consider more cooling if you have area for a pci slot fan (I orered 1 with it and place it a slot away so that there's a gap among them for both the GPU fan and the slot fan to pull from, and to get it away from the GPU fan blades). I didn't see something about it on right here, but it installed as a dual channel GPU (with 1024MB in windows XP, and 512MBX2 in VISTA and 7). And I had to optimize airflow by rearranging cables to get my CPU temp back beneath 60-65 on idle and as higher as 73-79 beneath load (g*d bless AMD's Higher thresholds!!!) And i'm running it beautifull on on a 250Watt PSU with ლamps at 12v andქamps at 5v.

Did what I was expecting it to do. I'm finally capable to play Mass Impact at low setings. Uncomplicated to install and came as advertised. Had to use the included CD to load drivers. But not a huge deal.

The box it came in looks nice... I am really disappointed in this card. I understand that a low value you get what you pay for but this card is incredibly problematic. 500W PSU four fan method and not running any games the card locks constantly operating the supplied drivers by Powercolor. My SAPPHIRE AGP card rocked for two years and I am waiting to get it back under warranty repair. Dont know about the other people but this card is not worth the hassle to hunt down other drivers or continuously contacting assistance for tiny resolution. My system is stable and worked fine till this card was installed.... Manufacturer Response:AGP cards need special drivers (hotfix drivers), did you have a chance to try these? General feedback has been positive for this model, so it's also entirely attainable that you could have just gotten a defective card. Either way, if you need additional assistance feel totally free to e-mails me at hugo@powercolor.com and I'll be more than pleased to aid you out, thanks.-Hugo

Cost and possible Drivers/Won't Perform I'm having the very same dilemma as the guy below. Desktop seems to function fine but fire up something that utilizes 3D/DirectX and the card freezes after about 5 minutes regardless of game or load.I will attempt contacting Powercolor to see if there is a secret to getting this thing to operate. It's not genuinely worth returning at this point but I will if I have to.
