Takes some getting use to compared to a standard keyboard, but overall I am happy with the purchase.

It's nothing like the Logitech G19 or G15, but it is up there. Its quick on typing response, unlike my other keyboards; its really good on games and macros. I do have a problem remembering what some macros are for, but that's a me problem. You can also put software as micros like tweetdeck, skype, mozilla, etc. I love this keyboard and will use it until I can get the logitech G19 or if something comes out better than that keyboard.

I started computing a long time ago, and got spoiled by the original IBM 101-key keyboard. Since that time, I've searched in vain for a keyboard that would compare favorably against that standard. While I'm a touch typist (software engineer for a living), I prefer a heavier touch. This keyboard has it. The X6 is built solidly, and is clearly designed to last. As to features, I actually use very few of them. The volume control works, but I keep it cranked since I use the volume control on my sound system. I enjoy working at night, (and gaming), and very much appreciate the variable keyboard backlighting. All in all, I expect to be using my X6 for many years to come.

I don't really like how it sits flat instead of at a slant. Have to relearn typing skills again (I use it for more than just gaming). How hard would it have been to put some little legs on it or build it at a slight tilt?

The back-lighting of the keys is a must for night people. However this Keyboard does only come with one color lighting to the main section of the board and that is red. It does not have extend-able feet so it sits flush which was not something I am particularly a fan of. However as one of the cheapest gaming back-lite keyboards its a decent buy.

Have had this keyboard for a couple weeks now. Have not used many of the extra features other than the back lighting and the volume control. This is my first back-lit keyboard, and I really like it. The detachable num-pad is interesting, works fine, but wasn't really a selling-point for me. Overall I think this is a fairly nice keyboard.

When I got this keyboard it was on sale so now the price seems a little high, but it is well worth the money. With the possibility of 90 macros you wouldn't have to type in the command to just dance whenever you feel like it anymore on any online game again.

The backlighting and volume control functions are just two of the reasons I love this keyboard. It's not only well made but looks great as well. I really doubt I'll ever have to buy another one because this one does so much and is well worth the price.

I have had this keyboard for about a year now and, well, it's pretty awesome. Backlighting is sweet, volume knob comes in handy, programmable keys leave you with many options to configure the board for your personal use and it's well built. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for function, style, and quality.

So far the keyboard has been great, fast response, beautiful lighting and got my warranty taken care of from this site AND Microsoft, hopefully I won't need it and don't see any reason why I should at this point! Perfect for gaming.

I love everything about this keyboard except the bottom left corner. I keep hitting the windows key when trying to go prone, and sometimes hit a few other ones in that corner. Wish they would have had a better layout for the keys. The software program is nice for macros and disabling the windows key. I only wish I could reprogram the windows key to also be ctrl so I could just hit either one to go prone, instead of having to look for it. I think I am starting to hit it less as I am getting used to the layout. Also the volume knob is very delayed when trying to adjust the system volume.

Ive owned two Logitec G15's and they are insanely over priced, a G10 is the same price as this and doesn't have the functionality or style as this one does. A little harder to find but definitely worth it.

This is by far the best gaming keyboard I have ever had, and personally it blows the Logitech I used to have away! Great response times from solid keys and enough features to keep things interesting make this a great keyboard at a good price!

I use an older G15 at work, and I like the feel on this one even better. I also never use a numeric keypad so i'm glad that this one is removeable. I like the glowing red backlit keys too. Very satisfied. Would have given it better ratings if they took out the keypad and cut $10 off the price.

I can't comment on how this functions as a ''gaming'' keyboard. I got this as a general purpose multi-media keyboard. For that it's great. The reasons I chose this keyboard were the detachable number pad ( I don't use it anyway ) and the lit keys. The key spacing seemed a bit ''off'' at first, but it didn't take much time to get used to it. The ''escape'' key is in the ''wrong'' place - maybe I'll get used to that. All in all, a great little keyboard ( it is ''little'' when you don't use the number pad ).

I have to start by saying that this keyboard rocks. The size of the keyboard is very nice and very well built. The only thing I don't like is the wrist rest is hard and cant be removed but after a while you'll get use to it. And the amount of macros can put on this keyboard is amazing, I think up to 30 macros or more. So if you are trying to find a keyboard thats for gaming and has Red lights in between the keys this is the keyboard for you.

I work a lot in the dark. The backlight is gret. Also the excellent macro functions make programs and gaming a snap. The number pad is SOOOOO cool. It just snaps off. No fasteners, just strong reliable magnets. Snaps on either side too. Make sure you have a desktop with room, it is very wide. No worries I have a tray. The typing response is extraordinarily responsive and strong. The Volume and lighting controls promise years of use without springs to wear out.

I like this keyboard alot. Great tactile response and the back-lighting is perfect for my wee hour gaming. More features than I'm likely to use, but perfect for shooters and the like.

Awesome keyboard, volume control is very handy andand same with the calculator shortcut key. Detachable numpad very nice when your using ASDW controls ingame and need your mouse closer to the keyboard. Don't think I'll ever use the macro keys but it's cool to have them lol.

Keyboard is nice and setups easily. Num Pad connects to either side of the keyboard and stays in place when moving the keyboard so thats nice. If you are used to a keyboard though with a lift in the back, this one does not have it. It looks like you can add something to it though to lift it. The bottom has slots that look like they were meant to put a lift bar in.
