Cons: Small size means the cost per GB isn't optimal.

Pros: Inexpensive and plenty fast.
Comment:
Works great as a cache drive for cases where 60GB feels too small. Previous generation but still a reliable performer after all the Sandforce kinks were worked out.

Works as expected on my netbook, keeps the temperatures cooler and boots much faster. Not a very high end SSD, but the price when it's on sale is great!

Cons: No mounting hardwareHit and miss with drives

Pros: FastGood price
Comment:
OCZ is definitely hit and miss with their drives. I can understand why some people have no issues and some do. I had to return my first drive as it was stuttering during win7 install. Took me almost an hour to install win7. Sent it back for an exchange and this one is working great. Definitely way better than my HDD, for the price it's a nice step up. Just depends on if you pick up a good drive.

Cons: not the fastestno mounting hardware included

Pros: cheapfairly fast
Comment:
I typically don't buy OCZ drives due to their reputation however the Agility series seem alright. No problems so far. Not one of the fastest drives out there but not the slowest either. I needed a cheap drive to put into an enclosure. This came with a $10 rebate so got it for $50 which isn't bad. Getting 195MB Reads and 175 Writes in ATTO.

Cons: not the fastest one out there

Pros: its fast, it has no moving parts, it's an ssd!!! and it's cheap, especially after MIR
Comment:
Got this for my uncles rig. All my computers have been switched over to ssd's, and it doesn't matter how much you spend, they all feel lightning fast. No point in spending more for better specs. My 30GB onyx, 40GB X25-V, 64GB Kingston V100, and 60GB Vertex 3 all feel just as fast as each other. Only file copy speeds and benchmarking are affected. Buy an SSD, doesn't really matter which one.

I love SSD's... I have them in 3 computers of my own and this one was for a relatives machine. However, it turned out she has a LOT of programs of various sorts on her machine and it would have been hard to get them all on this drive. SO I'm getting a 120 gigs for hers and I'll install this in another machine. At this point I've bought 7 SSD's of various types and have never had a problem. I love the speed boost. rebooting your machine after a sofware update/install is no longer a pain!

I bought this SSD to replace an older Hard Drive. It was very easy to install. I formatted and so far i works like a charm. The speed on this from starting windows to large disk access is so much faster than the original Sata HD.

OCZ has sandforce drives which means they are sometimes instable. Fortunately, OCZ has released the 2.15 version and that has proved stable thus far. No BSOD on mine.

Cons: Headache when it doesn't work

Pros: Great fast drive when it works
Comment:
My first SSD and at first quite pleased with the performance and speed. I use it primarily as a boot drive, but every few weeks it would 'crash'. I don't get a BSOD, just a system freeze and have to press the power button to shut down. But after powering it back on, the drive would appear missing. When this happens, it takes a few reboots for it to be recognized again. The drive when I got it came with firmware 2.06 and I updated it to 2.08.With this recent update, I still experience system freeze, but not as often. I still need to add the tweaks to the registry and turn off all power saving features to ensure the drive works properly. It's great when working, but when it fails to work, it's pure frustration to deal with. I have not updated to 2.11 as I don't feel compelled to since it's mostly functional now. Only suffering from the occasional hiccup every couple of weeks time and it's the one time. At least it's recognized after the shut down and not disappear.

This is the third SSD I have, after a Vertex 1 and Vertex 3.This SSD rocks (totally suited to laptops, better than vertex 3) and has a great price. The 60G version hasn't the best storage/price ratio, but it's so cheap that you will buy it if you don't need more.

My first SSD and first impression couldn't be better. Install Windows 7 on it in a few minutes, as compared to more than half an hour installing Windows XP on normal hard drive before. Boot up and program launch are a breeze.Would be better if a mounting bracket and screws are included.
