PLEASE Study. Very Great DetailsExtremely good technique...the install was all screws though, no fast latches, but it was simple. I am cooling my overclocked Phenom 9600 two.3Ghz Quad Core that is OC'd to 3.0Ghz and it brought it from my old temp, 74c to 42c with this. It is also incredibly quiet. it requires two 12v fan power connectors, one for the pump and a single for the fan so preserve that in mind. And if you put it in upside down...it does not work. AT ALL. make positive the words that say "Airflow" are correct side up. It comes with a small heatsink paste, practically nothing unique but it will hold you till you get some silver based paste. The airflow direction also goes proper out the back case vent, so it's a great thought to have a case fan blowing out of your case so you have a good airflow technique. It has a copper base for a really fantastic connection to the CPU and more than all...it operates wonderful. I would advocate this to any person. Particularly if they are overclocking. Screw install, and it's quite big, I don't feel you can have the RAM with heatsink fins mainly because it might get in the way. i wrote a good assessment about a month after i purchased it. i still say its a fantastic remedy for something other than an particularly higher finish machine. right after utilizing this cooler for a little over a year, i sold my machine. its still rockin tho. with a phenom quad core and sapphire radeon hd 4850 on full load, the temp never ever gets above 60 c. of course i also have extremely excellent cooling in my case and i aways clean the dust out at least every single couple of months. some people say it is loud. mine isnt, so possibly these people have one with a bad fan. anyway, when i build my next machine, i will certainly get one more one particular none

All in one watercooling. Will drop temps if installed suitable! Most purchasers dont set up it appropriately. Like other people have mentioned, make sure of the flow path! It really should blow to the rear of the case. Hook up each connectors as well. E7400 @ 3.52 ghz for more than 6 months. Never tops 52C. Guys its all about installation. Spend consideration to mounting clearance about the cpu! Lots of chips can lift it just off the cpu simply because of its size. You want a flashlight to confirm this.

This Heatsink is incredible, It Droped my temps down an avg. 10c , YES ! 10c! .... I was operating at 48c on my stock Heatsink (Was five yrs Old) I'll Give you my Specs: AMD 64 3500+, four GB XMS PC3200, Evga 7800 GS, Alienware Case with a 120 mm rear case fan and 80 mm sidecase intake fan. None that I know of. Its quite quiet also, but it is running on low fan speed . I hav'nt heard it kick up to full blast.I reside in the northeast united states. so temps outdoors are obtaining cooler also , maybe that is why im obtaining such fantastic benefits

This unit will be 2 years old in March and has kept my E7400 @ three.52ghz entirely stable. HWMonitor reports leading core temp by no means over 48C and cpu die temp by no means over 43C. Case/Cooler setup completed adequately is a have to to get these outcomes. Im quickly to obtain a 2nd unit for my P67񳖴K setup after tax time. I have extensive watercooling stuff piled up from previous builds but im satisfied with this cooler as a low maintinance/no worry option. But like i mentioned...setup is paramount to functionality with this cooler. People anticipate very good cooling with badly ventilated cases. With this construct i will duct outside air straight via the unit and out working with a filter at the intake fan. four inch clear flexible ducting equivalent to marine venting will be utilised. Nonetheless ambient space temps make a decision general functionality guys. I may possibly experiment with a peltier/cold plate setup quickly as i have several.

Looks kinda cool I was so pleased to say i had water cooling. Ahead of I had a stock cpu fan and heatsink that came with the cpu. So I hooked the water point up, ran HW Monitor and was suprised to see that the temp was exactly the identical as the temp prior to. Very sad to hear.I am running an intel q660 core two quad overclocked at 3.2ghz and the idle temp is 48c. This item is a quite cool design and stuff, but sadly it doesn't do hardly something.

Cools nicely. I too would have thought I'd get far more out of the unit, but It does do better than air (for me). This heatsink left me with a nasty reduce. I warn you now, if you purchase this item you will have to modify it somehow for your case...in particular if you go with the AMD side of CPU's. The memory was just to close to the heatsink...I'm telling you this thing is enormous...tall and wide. So I had to modify the heatsink so I could get the dang point installed. Anytime I want to modify something just to make it function...automatic typical score on assessment no mater the good outcome. If it weren't for acquiring cut on the modification. I would say this is a advised get for other individuals, but what can I do. It drew 1st blood and I hold a grudge. :]

Its a water cooler for beneath โ!! If set up appropriate it is much better than stock air cooling. "IF SET UP Correct" Solid building! You by no means have to refill these factors!! Not the greatest air flow. Warm air is passed from the initially radiator to the second. If they utilised 90mm or 120mm radiators this cooler would have been killer!! This cooler is not a bad cooler for the price tag. I have employed 4 of these more than the last two years. One that I use and 3 for custom builds. Its a secure and easy way to get some water cooling in your technique. The essential with these is to provide as a lot air flow as attainable. If you connect the fan to a 3 pin 12v connector so it runs at 100% and maintain good air flow to this cooler you can run at 32C idle and below 45C at full load with most Core two Duo's at stock clocks. So yeah not the very best performance cooler out there but has a solid building and you can say you have water cooling.

Almost certainly better than stock cooling. cost pulling mb to set up. to be expected though I have a zalman 9700 and believed what the hell. Lets see how excellent it really is. To start out, I have a striker II formula MB and a q6600 cpu. I ran this setup with each the aio and zalman 9700fsb 1511mem 1066 computer 8500 ƕ,4,4,12) 23cpu 1.4pll 1.5vtt 1.threemem 2.3nb 1.4sb 1.5 1.2ht 1.twogpu gtl ref ცmvnb gtl ref + 30mvWith both having the cpu fan at one hundred% The Zalmon idled at 40C when the aio idled at 51c. Each working with realtempIdle temp usually doesnt imply anything so i utilised prime95 to test load temps. On the 1024k tests i reached a max of 65C which was on test five and 78c on the 8k which was on test eight. This test was accomplished with the zalmon. The Zalmon usually ran steady With the exact very same setting, the aio would restart just sitting on the desktop. I didn't even have a chance to try prime95. With that idle temp, it would have been undesirable anyway. In conclusion, the people who say its far better than any air solution are dead incorrect. This is far from the good product some men and women claim

The only solution like it on the market place, and the first product from this company practically two years ago. It performs. (So does the stock Intel fans included with retail cpu's.) Just extremely poorly and not maintenance friendly. Just not incredibly effectively. I purchased this because of its simplified and revolutionary style. I also purchased it mainly because of the favorable ratings in this critique thread. The manufacturer has come out w/ a dozen other products and is creating a big name for itself in personal computer cooling. They have not added variations or improvements to its design and style, as although they gave up soon after all the lackluster reviews. At least 6 specialist evaluations, and not a single recommendation. On the chart, it performance comes out in the middle. A lot more troubles . . . below. Water cooling systems should be maintained. Its not a "install it and overlook it" program. All systems are prone to coolant loss by way of tubing/gasket absorption. The manufacturer offers the coolant a two year life or servicing interval, but rather of a clearview reservoir, the only way to check fluid level is to turn the case sideways, break the "void warranty" seal, open the cap and peek inside the radiator. Alternatively of "void warranty", the sticker need to say, check "fluid often". Simply because the manufacture forbids you from opening the cap, there is no "serviceable" parts - just a 2 year life expectancy for the product. You wait until the fluid is gone, your cpu fries, then you obtain a new cpu and cooler technique. For the same price, verify out Sunbeam Core-Contact. Its rated top one particular or two in several test websites, beating out the newish Xigmatek HDT-S1283 by a small margin. Based on a different reviewer's rec, I've added a fan and moved both to the outside positions, nonetheless not as gd as othrs

It is affordable and it is water cooling. If you can't afford the whole water cooling system and don't 100% will need it, this is great. Operates alot superior then air cooling. Tells Air flow path. Mine is blowing the hot air proper out the case case and my side fan blows cool air over the intake. Newegg is the best.. It is massive. I personally believe it looks sweet but if your case is packed pretty tight you could have to get a larger case. I have a mid tower, the 750i mobo with 8gigs filling the ram slots and it fits excellent. Kinda close to my psu but I love it. Newegg is Quantity 1 more than anyother pc parts internet site.

Mid-variety price tag for a CPU heatsinkGood deal if purchased in a comboKeeps my i7 920 at 29C at idle and 55C throughout Crysis (probable much more credit to dual 250mm fans than the hitsink) Started off effectively but now that I've owned it more than a year it isn't maintaining up with the upgrades. The specs say max 32db but mine is at about 50db now. It rattles when you first commence it up and is loud sufficient to get complaints from the Miss. I consider the single internal fan style isn't the very best,.. other styles with two fans push the air by means of each radiators and appear to get superior testimonials. I purchased one particular Noctua fan (and hooked!) and now I'm in the procedure of switching them all. If you're getting it in a combo deal and have no other CPU cooler than it's not a horrible deal. I would personally stick with Thermaltake, Noctua or another superior brand.

Runs my CPU (Phenom II x3 720 BE) around 78°F at idle. With Prime95 strain test operating, temps come up about 100°F immediately after 15 mins or so -- and drop like a stone as quickly as I turn the strain test off.Utilized in conjunction with Arctic Silver 5, applied appropriately (complete, but really thin layer).Certainly excellent CPU cooler, performs as advertised. Much superior and quieter than air coolers. Tough to believe a self-contained water cooler for this value! You will need to take away the standard MB cooler mounts to install their custom mounts. Also the cooler is considerably larger than common coolers and substantially wider at the leading than the base, so it is top-heavy (perfectly understandable, but make positive you have clearance in your case and on your MB). For those not seeing an improvement, it's achievable they didn't plug in both the cooling pump and the fan. They're two separate plugs. Also, good thermal compound is vital, as is applying it in a very thin layer. I could also see troubles if an edge of the cooler is not sitting flush due to protruding motherboard elements or cords.

Functions properly over air. Dropped my temps 11 degrees C, which allowed me to remove all but two fans from the program.I only have an AMD Opteron 1356 CPU as this is my server. No VGA. Only fans left are intake over HDD's and Exhaust. Massive for my mid tower. but I knew that so not actually a con. This is a question for a preceding post; What does getting A+ Certified have to do with something related to this?I have an MCSE 2k and 2k3, MCITP, MCDST, A+, N+, Safety + and none of them had anything on watercooling on the exams.Just a common observation. :)

simple installation loud I upgraded from the stock cooler on an AMD Athlon 64 x2 6400+ black box to this one. It is installed in an Antec Sonata case with a single 120mm fan. The full-load temperature dropped about 15 degrees farenheit. After an hour with both cores maxed out it was at 152. Throughout low use (browsing, typing, and so forth) the temp stays about 110. My only complaint is the noise. It is considerably louder than the stock cooler, but since I have it on an HTPC setup which is in one more room it doesn't bother me. If it was sitting on the floor suitable next to me it would certainly be an situation.

As with other revies make sure u aligne the air flow correctly. I bought 2 new fans as nicely as this just to make positive the airflow was there and i really like it If you have a med tower dont waste ur cash You have to take the MB out to set up this but that tends to make for a a lot more secure hold. Also buy some real thermal paste like some silver. What this comes with was kinda a soupy watery feel

Nice unit, extremely compact. The concept of not getting to refill the water cooling unit is a major plus. For a basic Water Cooling unit and the cost, its not negative! If your going to install the unit make confident your M.B. has a back plate. If not, you will have to order one and that takes time. The unit does extend over your memory modules. Install them first!! The manufacturer of the unit does not reference the reality that you need to have a back plate. That really should be made clear to anybody that purchases the unit!!

I personally was incredibly skeptical in the beggining just before I produced the selection of ordering a so referred to as ALL IN A single water cooled cpu fan but I am incredibly pleased with the outcomes. I have an E5200 @ 3.5GHZ - 1.25VCore -1333FSB. My idle temps are 36C-38C and load temps in no way go previous 44C--With tha mentioned this cooler by far blows away any regular fan cooler, in brief, the water cooling does effect performance and you can actually hear the water bubble if you get close to the cpu fan. Also the cost is outstanding for what you are obtaining and installation was very straightforward. Feel no additional order the Xigmatek AIO, you will be pleasently suprised. Motherboard must be removed but that was expected. Great Item----I have tryed sveral cpu fans such as the arctic freezer 7 and as a result far this cpu fan out performs all of them by a temp reduce of atleast 3-8C.

Wonderful concept to combine an entire water cooling unit into the heatsink. No additional radiator/fan hookups in the case and extra cables to route. Terrible temps, it does not cool any much better than my ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm fan heatsink. With that cooler my CPU (E6420) is 32 degrees idle and 37 degrees full load. And that is with the CPU overclocked as effectively. If you have the area I would save some money and purchase that instead. For an entry level water cooling selection it functions. But not as excellent as some of the other water cooling solutions offered. If you are going to build a water cooled rig, you will need to have to devote additional than ฽.00 for high quality parts and non-conductive coolant. You Constantly get what you spend for.

Very properly produced and effective for the value. It brought my overclocked AMD dual-core 4800+ from ක C" down to ൦ C", Under LOAD!!.. Comes pre-filled with coolant for 30,000 hours of maintenance free use (big plus). It was pretty uncomplicated to install and also came with a lot of parts to be compatible with most CPUs and sockets out there. Newegg delivered fast as usual. :) It's massive and heavy so be ready (nothing to drastic even though). Make certain you have space in your case and at least have some type of weight support on your motherboard for the CPU (back plate). All round I gave this product five eggs, simply because if you know your own method and do some analysis ahead of purchasing it, you shouldn't have any difficulties and can't really go wrong using this liquid cooling program for the price.

IT'S A LIQUID COOLING UNIT - Cheap!(...I've got nothing else...) Like other folks have stated, it doesn't cool all that well. For an all-in-one unit, I guess you can't count on a whole lot. Unless you are getting this as a novelty item, or a gag present for a buddy, it doesn't have a whole lot of use in my opinion. I set this unit up in combo with a brand new spread of Arctic 5 compound. At initially, I was impressed, then somewhat disappointed with the temps: 39c average idle, 51c average under Complete load, 48c average under moderate use.I've accomplished various "pressure" tests to see if I had it also tight against the CPU, not tight adequate, lop-sided, and so on, but in no way saw much more than a three-five degree celcius difference. If you must have it, by all means, have at it. I advise saving your income for one thing of greater high quality.
