i bought the little guy because i wanted a mouse without one of those in the way wireless receivers... im unsure if its my laptop or this mouse but it stays disconnecting it self... the mouse will stay lit up but will not work the BT icon in my tray is still lit up green and shows no issues im so dumbfounded by this and scared to spend more money on another BT mouse to ifnd that it is indeed my laptop.... all in all its a great mouse very cool design and the battery compartment is a eat concept yet if it is the mouse thats the issue and on my lappy then i would have never spent the money knowing this would happen.... laptop: MSI GX630

If you're looking for a mouse without all of the extra odd buttons they put on mice these days, but still want the convenience of bluetooth, this is the mouse for you. It's functional, easy to set up, and it seems to work on a good variety of surfaces, though every now and then it has some trouble with my glossy wood desk. Overall, a good product at a reasonable price.

Received the item fast from tigerdirect.com. The most difficult thing to do was put the batteries in. :-) Hit the reset button on the bottom for 10-15 seconds it synced right up with the belkin usb bluetooth. The mouse is very accurate. I feel the bluetooth is way more precise then any wireless usb mouse I've ever owned(period). You can set a password so there is no interference with other computers. I would most definitely recommend this mouse to anyone with the need to go wireless. I purchased a second one, I was so pleased with the first one. I can't say that about many products these days. Installation was OK except that the directions say to press the initialize button (actually RESET) and wait for green flashing light (actually RED). Once past that confusion, WinXP wizard found the little guy. Ignore the part about setting a PIN as it makes the wizard error-out, but the default setting works fine. Using two of them with identical Dell laptops created no conflicts (I had been a bit worried about that). Be sure to have spare AAA batteries around in your laptop carrying case....
