I bought this plate for my apogee gtz water block. I had to buy this since my old plate was for lga775 and I wanted to keep my water block since it is good. The installation is a little bit long, because you need to empty your waterblock, it was a good thing, so I could clean the whole thing. I just hope I will not get liquid dropping out of it. I woudl recommend it for people that don'T want to change the whole thing. |
Many reviewers rave about the GTZ and the excellent mounting mechanism for LGA755/1366 sockets. However, for AM2/AM3 users, this adapter seems to be an afterthought. Nonetheless, if you use an AM2/AM3 processor and a GTZ, you have no choice but to buy this.
