Cons: momentary lags, freezes for 2-3 seconds, screws up your file selection with mouse in windows.transfer rate is fast but window cant read it properly. I transferred a 2gb file, transfer saying 70-60 MB/s but its actually 30 MB/s. so whenever that happens, you have to wait at the very end of the transfer for a bit of time.
Pros: drive is the speed what it says. Comment:
fast speed transfer, too bad it lags and gives momentary delay when creating folders, renaming, just about ANYTHING you do, copying, deleting, pasting. everything you do gives about 2-3 sec delay/lag from windows, very annoying little drive.cheap USB 3.0, as expected though. the little lag and delay made me select wrong and delete my files by accident. |

I didn't actually mean to buy this one, I had 2 carts going between home and work and thought I ordered a kingston little key ring stick. I like this one that, it's solid, it's fast, works well with usb2.0 and 3.0 ports. good buy. I've been using it to transfer ISOs for installations at work, seems to make USB 2.0 faster, but that could be that I'm used to older memory sticks. overall I would say this is a good purchase, but I do feel it is bulkier than it needs to be |

Using this drive to install Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8 Dev Preview, and WHS 2011. Installs take 10 minutes versus 25 on a USB 2.0 drive and 40 over DVD. Completely bootable hen in a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port. Formatted as NTFS and still maintains full transfer speeds.Not a negative issue, but after extended use writing (not reading) the drive casing gets very warm. A little worried about lifespan of the device with that much heat, but as stated, then just reading (as in the case of installing an OS) it doesn't warm up. |
Used with Windows 7 and USB 3.0 connector. Writing speed is 50mbps and reading speed is 120mbps.
