Cons: cap will eventually get lost

Pros: Small, sturdy, good speeds
Comment:
Great thumbdrive, huge size, great price, robust build and the only bad thing is a cap that will be easy to lose.

Cons: Persistent problems.

Pros: Adata Name
Comment:
The stick became quickly unusable. I would never buy another 64 GB stick from ADATA. Love their 32 GB units, I have never had a failure with them but I have two of these and both are unusable. I was a great champion of ADATA, but rethinking that position now.

Cons: with a failure rate of 23 out of 30, failing within 2 to 3 months. (Stick becomes unusable, and the RMA to ADATA is a bit of a pain, each stick has it's own serial number (which are extremely small and blend in with the rest of the USB connector) The cost of RMAing sticks makes it somewhat dubious to RMA back unless your sending in for or five at a time Speeds no were close to a steady USB 3 speed. (Only the initial burst is close)

Pros: shiny blue colour (?) ADATA name, I think most of their products are very good
Comment:
Bought a bunch to give out to the grand kids (most are adult now) when they were on sale. Also kept about 10 for me to use. With ordinary usage they failed one after the other over about 3 months, both the 10 i had and most of the others. With a failure rate of 23 out of 30, failing within 2 to 3 months, it is hard to recommend.(Stick becomes unusable, and the RMA to ADATA is a bit of a pain, each stick has it's own serial number (which are extremely small and blend in with the rest of the USB connector) The cost of RMA-ing sticks makes it somewhat dubious to RMA back unless your sending in four or five at a timeTragic really, as I use quite a few of their products (SSD's) and they work very well.So maybe a bad run? would give lower rating but i have to dig through my old invoices to find the exact one. It is however (PDF Copy) at the ADATA site linked to my account in the rma section, just having a hard time accessing atm)

Cons: First one was DOADoesn't work in my desktop's front ports for some weird reason

Pros: FastAffordableCap fits on the end
Comment:
Picked this up for $29 after good experiences with other ADATA flash drives. The first one I got was DOA, wasn't detected by any system I plugged it into. NCIX replaced it quickly and the replacement was better... but for some reason it doesn't work in my desktop's front USB 3.0 ports (works fine with other USB 3.0 devices). Weird thing is it works with my rear ports so I might get an extension cable for it.As for the drive itself, it's fast considering the cost. Sequential 512K read/write was 98.3/62.5 MB/s according to CrystalDiskmark. I also like how you can take off the cap and plug it into the backside of the drive so you don't lose it.

Cons: a little bulky for some USB panel configurations

Pros: 64 gb capacity is great for holding movies, music and large CAD files

Not a low profile thumb drive by any stretch.. but definitely one of the fastest I own and with positively cavernous storage capacity. This thing is my go-to flash drive.

Cons: Stopped being detected by various PCs after 4 months.

Pros: Nice looking, great speed, seemed durable...
Comment:
I bought this item 4 months ago. I was very pleased with the speed and the build quality of the device. Sadly, last week, it stopped being recognized by every PC i plug it in. Shows up as "USB Mass Storage" in warning mode in the device managers. Updated USB/Chipset drivers with no success. Starting the RMA process with ADATA.

Cons: -Sustained write speeds not quite as good as advertised

Pros: -Fast (temporarily)-Does look better in person
Comment:
This drive will slow down during a sustained write. Writing a 5 GB test file, I can get average write speeds of ~70 MB/s (99 then drops to 80, 50, 40) and read speeds of ~100 MB/s (using Blackmagic on a 2013 MBA). On sale, this drive is definitely worth it. And it really doesn't look as bad as the picture suggests - it's a lighter, more metallic blue.

Cons: -no activity LED-slows down significantly with smaller files

Pros: Super fast, nice and big, sturdy.
Comment:
The blue finish looks better in person than it does in the photo. When writing large files to the drive, it is actually faster than specs say. With smaller files it slows down significantly but that is expected. For the price of $36.99, the capacity all excellent, it feels solid.

Cons: Not as fast as advertised.

Pros: Big capacity, low price, looks real good.
Comment:
It's fast, but not for long. When writing big files (which is why I bought this 64gb stick) I get 80MB/s for 6-7 seconds, then it drops down to ~32MB/s steady. That's on USB3 of course, and source is SSD. 50MB/s would have been perfect, unfortunately this stick won't do it for more than 7 seconds.

Cons: Bad Cap holder design..

Pros: Fast. Sturdy. Beautiful :-)
Comment:
Fast as it could be.. Looks nice. Fills strong. On the minus side, only thing – and it’s big for me! - Cap holder is useless if you attach any lanyards because attaching hole is right where you’d put cap while connected to USB.. so it’s either/or situacion… :-(

Cons: Not as fast as advertised out of the package. No indicator light to let you know when it's still writing or reading.

Pros: Decently fast once reformatted. A place to keep the cap when the drive is in use.
Comment:
This is a nice drive, it feels solid. It has a lanyard hole, but no cable comes with it. Just as well though, you can put the cap on the opposite end when the drive is in use so you don't lose it. And the cap attaches snugly on both ends with a clicking sound, reassuring you it's on.The write speed concerned me initially, it was nowhere near as fast as claimed. I checked the formatting, it was done in exFat from the factory. So to experiment, I switched it to NTFS and tried it again. The read speed was about 73 MB/s. Write speeds were about 28-30 MB/s. Both speeds took awhile to ramp up to, they may have been even faster if I used bigger files. All testing was done under Win 7 64-bit on an Alienware M18x. I'm still not sure why the exFat format slowed the drive so badly though, it shouldn't have done that.So all in all, for the price it is a decent little drive, not super fast, but better than expected and better than some other drives I have bought in the past.
