Good reviews for this brand, worth the money. 3.5g is plenty, unless you're an enthusiast who likes swapping out heat sinks for testing purposes and whatnot.

Cons: 200 hour curing time

Pros: One of the best TIM on the market today
Comment:
Usually go with MX, but was out of stock, so tried this. Nice and easy to apply, and seems to have covered nicely. Temps nice and cool on the CPU. Only negative I can see from looking is a relatively long curing time, but will see and maybe re-evaluate.

One of the best out there. Been reading many good words about it. Go for it, it can be used for many times/years. Even at 10 bucks, it still doesn't feel like that you're wasting money :)

Cons: Lengthy instructions online

Pros: Good Product
Comment:
This stuff worked great. Follow the instructions from the Arctic Silver website and it should not lead you wrong (they are long winded but a good guide). Make sure to get rid of old material on the CPU and the Heatsink first.Dropped the temp in main case by 10 degrees right away.

Cons: - not have a chance to use it- not sure how long it can be stored

Pros: - looks like what it is described
Comment:
I bought this item, but I will not need to use it. For 4/, is it not worth to return it, so I wonder for how long it can be used when sealed

Cons: Conductive

Pros: Efficient heat transferCheapTiny amount requiredSyringe lasts a long time
Comment:
I've been using this for years. It always works perfectly.Follow the instructions on the website - "prime" the heatsink and only apply a tiny dot to the CPU, half the size of a grain of rice. I've always done that and this has always worked well.It also cleans off perfectly with 99% rubbing alcohol.I suppose if you massively overapply and get some on surface-mount electronic components on your motherboard, its conductive properties may mean trouble, but if you're this clumsy, using an aftermarket heatsink probably isn't for you.

Cons: Long cure time (Up to 200 hours)

Pros: Dropped CPU temps by about 10~15C from stock thermal paste.
Comment:
Even with a high-end closed loop liquid cooler I was have hard times achieving a OC of 4.3GHz (ivy bridge) without hitting temps in the 80~90C range. Since using this new paste, my temps are at ~70C with 100% CPU load. And that's without a full cure of the thermal paste which should drop  temps by another few degrees! Definitely worth $4.99 when on sale!

Pros: Easy Spreading
Comment:
Applied this to my CPU and had a 1-2 degree drop. Nothing crazy, I only really needed it because I needed to move things around in my build and had no paste around. There is better stuff, if you are looking for the best. You tube it.

Comment:
I used this thermal compound when replacing my stock CPU cooler on my i7 build two and half years ago. My Idle temperature dropped 30C degrees. Obviously this isn't just because of the Arctic Silver, but it did work perfectly and temperatures have been consistent ever since.Definitely a good product.
