Cons: i didnt get the coiled cable. i hate running over the wires with my computer chair. but so far no rips or tears in the cord.
Pros: The best audio quality for its price. They even match the specs of some audiophile headphones that go for $800+. crisp highs and mids that are very clear and precise. deep and clear bass that doesn't drown out the highs and mids. Crazy durable. if you are debating about getting beats by dre please shoot your self, but that argument is for a different review. you dont know quality until you try these on a good sound card like the xonar stx. they are extremely comfy and i can wear these for 5 - 8 hours without even having to shift the position of the headphones in any way. i have owned the ath-m50's for 4 years now and damn i feel old, but the sound quality and the durability still shocks me even today. i am even still using the original ear pads that came with it and they havent even cracked, ripped or anything. these headphones made me an audiophile and i love every bit of it.if you are in a warm room (26'c+) then after 3 hours of using the headphones without shifting them then the area where the muffs sit do begin to sweat a little but if used in a cool room then sweating isnt an issue, for me anyways. every one is different. you could easily just get a different kind of ear pads that are softer in material that can make you sweat less if that is an issue. i bought a spare pare of ear pads and i have never had to use them.Buy these headphones. if you dont already then get a good audio card and these headphones will make you very happy. worth every penny and more some. |

Cons: Gets very warm on your ears after a while, though with short hair it doesnt matter.

Great headohones, I bought them two days ago from NCIX, they shipped that night and then were on a truck for an entire day they next day, never got delivered, Purolator was full of excuses, DONT SHIP WITH PUROLATOR. I went and picked them up today and they were full of attitude. BUT, the headset is immaculate, Great packaging, great build quality, there is a spring on the jack so it cannot be reefed out of place or broken, comes with a studio jack incase you are using an AMP, freaking sound great, WOULD buy Audio Technicas again if these die, very happy. Good Buy. |

Hooked these up to my Yamaha Motif xs8 keyboard and they sound amazing(coming from Panasonic RP-HT722)The bass is not too heavy but can deliver it and the highs are clear. Also use them for movies and gaming on my computer. Got them off of amazon a while back. |
Bought this headphone because of the great reviews it had for price vs performance and also was on sale. I could listen with this headphone for hours without it feeling uncomfortable and sometime sleep with it on because of how wonderful the sounds were. The headphone comes with a carrying pouch and a stereo adapter.
