This is a very good enclosure. I am using a laptop so I only posted about 50mb/s which is a lot slower than other individuals have reported but a vast improvement more than the 11mb/s I was finding with USB 2.. Screws are particularly small and a challenge to get began.No outer shock absorbing protection like the Iomega eGo series.Would not want to drop this.Average appears, nothing at all thrilling (I prefer function over type). I compared this to a USB three. enclosure from OWC.I chose this mainly because it's produced of aluminum.
