Looks cool. Fan speed handle is good, but doesn't truly make significantly of a difference for me as I have 7 (yes, seven) fans.I can overclock my i7 920 pretty properly with no energy-associated concerns. It's SLI ready, so it has two six pins, but the video card I bought demands two. Lucky for me it's SLI ready, but if I want 3 or four monitors for some purpose, I'll have to sell my present video card and get two reduced-energy video cards. No biggie, really. I purchased it last month when it expense 79.99 flat with no rebate. I figure if you wait till the end of the month it'll go back down, but I'm not particular.

Have had this PSU for additional than two years and its still running great. No issues and all still operating above rated specs. Lots of Cords to stuff in a case Place this in my X-Navigator case right after the original died. Powers my 939 Mobo, X2 4200, and GTX 260 just fine.

Enormous energy, phat rails at 26A+, and wrapped cables with my fav colour. Has all the connectors any pc till this day calls for. None. Ive had this power provide for 5 years now, and till this day its been going robust. One of the fans gave up, bearings all scorched up and what not. Swapped it out with a spare i had laying about. The LED lights no longer operate on it ether. Minor difficulties that are easily fixed. Ive never ever purchased a powersupply from no one else then apevia ever considering that. My version of this energy supply IS SO OLD, that it still has apevia's old company name printed on it ASPIRE. this is a Need to acquire, i have never observed such reliability in a piece of pc hardware aside from cpu's.For those that would like to know this powers:-Some DX intel mobo??-Core2duo 񗀰 @ 2.13ghz-3 sata hdd's-four sticks of 1gb ram-nvidia 260gtx-creative xfi soundcard

Decent price tag for the energy. Not that it matters when it dies. Had this PSU for a tiny more than 6 months, and it started making chirping noises when operating intensive 3D games. Replaced it with an XClio GreatPower 700W and haven't looked back given that. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by way of us for the energy provide to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nevertheless beneath our warranty period. You can speak to Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. We attempt to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

Good energy provide if you don't plan to use Crossfire or SLI (two graphics cards). The adjustable fan speed is nifty, and installation was painless. The "Serial ATA Connectors (PB/PC/PD/PE)" for my really hard drive is a tiny loose. It's not a difficulty unless I plan to kick my CPU out of frustration. I have a Dell Dimension 4700 case, so the case, I think, is a Micro ATX case. I had to push my DVD drive forward to make space. Also, the chords were thicker than I believed they'd be, make points a bit more crowded. Keep in thoughts, I upgraded from a smaller 300w PSU to this.

Fantastic PSU, have had it for practically 3 years now without having a single difficulty, has absolutely filled the power requirements via the hardware needs throughout that time. It's not modular, and the leads can crowd even a moderate size ATX case.

The glow is so cool. The fan-speed adjuster is just awesome, and all the plugs and the lengths of the cords is fantastic. I enjoy how the cords are wrapped, too. It can get a little messy in the case, but, meh. I got this for ื as a shell-shocker deal. Can't beat that anyplace else in the planet!

Really uncomplicated hookup, solid power feed, really quiet. And, you can't beat the cost! I was able to use the fan dial to get comfortable temps at 50% - whilst operating C&C RA3 at full! For my older case, the mount holes did not line up specifically, had to force it a bit. The English version of the manual is rather amusing to read. My energy supply fried immediately after 5 years on Tuesday morning. I jumped onto my favorite website, saw this "price shocker" item, ordered it - and had it by lunch on Thursday! Up and operating in no time! Thanks NewEgg!!!

It's a great PSU all round. Sufficient power for two SATA HDDs, two SATA DVD-RWs, Radeon X1950XT, Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 2.13 (oc'ed to 3), ZALMAN CNPS9700 and EMU 1212m. Looks excellent despite the fact that can get a little noisy when the fan is cranked up. In no way had a single problem and would've rated it 5, but it died a couple of days ago immediately after a year and a half of use. Purchased a Thermaltake TR2 RX W0134RU - it's modular which is good, but I wish I nevertheless had my very good ole AS680W.

i didnt want something too flashy and the lights in the back aren't also substantially of a distraction. It incredibly nicely in my case and the amount of hookups is fantastic. The adjustable cooling fan is a genuinely nice touch! Thats in all probability my favored feature. The blue wrap around the wires might make it difficult to position the cables neatly

- Appears cool- The 680W was perfect for what I necessary- Fan controller- Effortless installation- Had all the cords I could possible will need - Sort of heavy- The fan at max speed is quite loud- Principal power connector killed my mobo (see "other thoughts") Right now I go to turn on my computer and... absolutely nothing. So I just believed the switch was off, I look and it's on.So I produced sure it was plugged in and it was.So I place on my wristband and opened up my computer to check all the connections and when I take off the primary connector attached to my motherboard I see two of the connectors are brown/black (one on the main 20, the other 1 on the Ʋ component)So then I plugged it back in and the power supply turns on but now my pc no longer boots up.I even switched back to my earlier (practically brand new) power provide but with the precise very same benefits.

Excellent psu, beefy 12+ rails its difficult to locate a daul rail psu that accualy can pump 22a+ the cables theres just so Quite a few! Huge clutter. My case has this massive space at the top so i just stuff all the cables there. Lasted me 2 years, ive usually gone with apeava even back then when thier name applied to be Aspire. Ive bought a 520watt psu and that also lasted me two years.these men and women construct solid psu's that accualy get the job performed at a excellent price. You can not go wrong with apeava.

looks cool, many connector selections. Im confident operates effectively IF and WHEN it operates out of box. dead on arrival I purchased this PS to replace an older 500watt ps of the same brand. Immediately after a month of difficulty shooting and obtaining 迀 of new components, the ps is dead! Dead on arrival. Now I have to attempt and speak with New Egg to see if they can send me a new a single even even though its following their 30 day warranty. Im NOT a satisfied camper! Nice looking with three fans I have ATX-IB680W-BL APEVIA 680W Iceberg Power -Blue energy supply. When I begin the pc just split second energy comes and energy turnsoff instantly. It occurred occationally in the first year I attempted clearing cmos and booted once more many occasions thinking there is dilemma in motherboard or other elements. Soon after a year exact same issue but it stopped starting the pc totally. I replaced this a single with cheap 300W generic energy supply and then on computer functions fine. Some problem with its protection circuitry.

3 cooling fans, strong construction, fan speed handle, cool LED's (although I could take or leave them), and lots of connectors for later expansion. Also I adore the tiny clips on the Molex plugs - tends to make taking them out substantially simpler. It's major and may well not fit in every single case. Acquiring a very good power provide, from any manufacturer, is hit-and-miss. These are the dangers we take by creating our personal systems. If you can't accept that some pieces of technology just won't work, get a typewriter.

I can't comment on the sata energy or PCI-E but none-the-less this solution has been moved a lot of times and it has stood the test of time. I'm essentially rather impressed. Once more, as in my final critique, the fan speed knob is not the greatest, I have obtained far more CFM on the rear fan as I have adjusted the case fans some, but the controller is still a difficulty. Soon after considerably inspection I discovered that only the main 120mm had LEDs which to me they all need to be lit. Overall it's a wonderful PSU and consumer support has been ever so helpful.Update to evaluation - 12ቬ񳏈

Operates perfectly. Install was no dilemma. Blue lighting is sharp. Extremely quiet at medium fan speed. Lots of connectors with lengthy cables. I don't have UV lighting and the blue plastic components look a little cheesy and out of spot in my case. Would have gotten a black 1 if it was offered for the ๠ I paid. Cost jumped to 贎 a single day later, and I'm not positive I'd propose it at that price. I have a massive ATX case, as huge as they get, and even with a modest mobo I had no challenge reaching all of my elements. PSU sits at the bottom w/ rear and bottom venting, so cooling is not an challenge. Reaches all the way to the best optical drive and front HDD's simply.

Appears to be a genuinely properly constructed psu, lots of plugs and connectors and a cool blue light (pretty) except i can't actually see it. I like the controllable fan speed on the back as my case gets actually hot now. Oh and has plenty of energy for a gtx 260. Didn't assume this factor was going to be as lengthy as it was. I mean it's not massive but was a little rough trying to get it in my case. Runs good. Excellent deal. Thanks once more Newegg!!
