Surprisingly with the 2 internal fans, is really quiet. Length of all of the power cables is excellent sufficient for a mid to substantial size case, but most likely not an old college tall tower. Plenty of MOBO power connectors: 20Ʋ Ʋ ƴor8 can't remember, so will energy most normal desktops, and then some. Not genuinely a CON, but only 2 SATA connectors on a single energy lead. That's it so far. The old energy provide for this computer system in all probability blew due to the fact of too a lot of brownouts and power spikes. Not being hooked up to even a surge suppressor/protector I'm surprised it didn't fry the complete MOBO. Got a battery backup for all of that now and hope to have the Computer for a tiny although longer now.

-Good price tag soon after rebate.-Never gets loud.-Gets the job performed. -Could use some much more SATA cables.-Metal casing around it is a thinner then I anticipated it to be but they have to cut corners somewhere to get a low value.-SATA Cables are kinda brief. If it does not blow up on me in the subsequent year its very good. Its a wonderful PSU and it gets the job accomplished for a low cost. But, If you dont want 4 pin connectors your going to have alot of unneeded clutter.

Value - That's about it... Poor top quality product that died correct following the warranty period ended. I purchased this in March of 2009 and it crapped out on me about a week ago. It has just enough power to retain the light on the motherboard. But when I powered it up the fans kicked on for only a second and then died. I switched it out last evening with a reputable back-up energy supply and have had zero difficulties. So this power supply merely has poor build excellent and will barely last the length of the warranty (just lengthy sufficient for you to be stuck with an item you can't return).Notice that a lot of current testimonials for this item have the similar sort of feedback. It appears like positive testimonials are only for folks that have had it for a couple of weeks. This energy provide is garbage and won't final you extended enough for it to be worth it.

none whatsoever It died Specifically one year and one particular week immediately after obtain. One particular week right after the warranty expires and I'm supposed to believe that it's a coincidence? I think not. It also does not have adequate SATA connectors. Yes you can get adapters, but compare the cost of adapters plus the power supply... it is worth finding a larger priced energy provide with additional connectors. At this point, even if I obtain an additional affordable power supply, I will have paid as a lot for two cra ppy energy supplies as I would have for a extremely good a single to commence with... and I wouldn't have the down time when waiting for new components. At times it is worth spending the extra $ for good quality. Manufacturer Response:If you are just past the finish of the warranty period, you can nevertheless do an RMA via us for the energy supply to get an exchange on it. This is a 430W PSU with MAX bursts at 500w for minutes.Falsely advertised as 500W. Newegg should monitor how these Brands price their CR@P! JUNK.

Cost (ร.99 with rebate) and good quality!! Nearly noiseless, plenty of connectors for most any want, two thermal controlled fans, 500W... no concerns at all.Excellent choice for any older computer. Can't assume of a single one. This is my second acquire for this item. Replaced the OEM unit in my custom build desktop a year ago. When the unit in my wife's Gateway died, I went out of my way to acquire this quite very same item for hers. And with the rebate, it was a no-brainer!

My co-workers mentioned i was doomed to purchase such a affordable PSU and that my Computer would be dead in a week but now additional than three years later, this PSU is still running sturdy. I replaced since I required much more energy for my current comp, not because this PSU displeased me in any way. DONT LET THIS Cost FOOL YOU, THIS Issue IS A CHAMP. A+++++

Picked up 3 of these for the machines I put together for family members. A lot of the conectors you'll need to have. The dual fans are nice. I run a case with a lot of air flow so I've never had to deal with the fans speed troubles(noise) I've read from other comments. Not truly a large problem but, the branded primary coming from the suuply can be a discomfort to function arround.

Purchased this way back on 1ቶባ and it's still running powerful.I've had the very same one particular in 2 distinct computer systems and have had no difficulties.Incredibly very quiet. Really quite light. Was a bit worried about the quality of the construction at very first, since I was employed to heavier energy supplies, nevertheless it's still running four years (originally, in a computer system that was on ALL of the time).Wasn't capable to genuinely appreciate how quiet this energy supply is, till I moved it to its present computer (on a associated note...AMD stock cpu fans are LOUD). The only reason that I didn't transfer this to my newest develop is due to the fact I necessary a lot more of the "modern" plugs (ie sata, pci-express). It would be amazing if they updated that a tiny. Back when I bought this, I was running late on sending in my mail-in-rebate. Called Apevia straight and the lady I was directed to mentioned that it wouldn't be a challenge. Rebate was received with no issues.

Low cost. Excellent worth for the cost. Modest form aspect fits my tower. Has a PCI-E line for the video card I bought. Wire for disc and hard drives is awfully quick. Needed me to move the position of my CD drive and tough disk for every little thing to function, but not worth knocking off an egg at this price.
