Has 4x SATA lines and 2x2 Ɣ) PCI video card power lines. Powers AMD 965BE w/ XFX ATI 5830 with no problems. Power supply fits Rosewill Challenger case and the Apevia QPack2 case nicely. Had a Apevia 500W PS blowout and due to the fact of the protection had no loss of equipment; MB, CPU, GPU, or memory and drives! Would be nice if alternatively of all 4 SATA lines on one cable that it had been 2 and two. Comes with Norman help! It don't get far better than that! I would give Norman an added Newegg if I could! ;)

Nicely wrapped, lengthy cables. Cool blue fan that runs quiet. SATA cables are all connected on one particular cord. Unit was defective. Had issues from day one particular; would power on then die. It was okay for about a week, then absolutely went undesirable. Throw in one more บ-ฤ and get a better a single. Wasn't worth acquiring. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by way of us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nonetheless beneath our warranty period. You can speak to Apevia's buyer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. We attempt to reply to all calls and e-mails as quickly as we can.

Well, I certain like the aesthetics of it, and the cables are bunched with each other nicely, the blue light doesn't hurt it either. Unfortunately the rails are separated horribly, providing definitely terrible energy output on the meager amperage it provides out to commence with. I knew I took a gamble with the low amps on the rails, but I didn't suspect them to also be dived up so poorly. Confident, technically my fault, but with a 650 PSU with such terrible amps on the rails, it's relatively deceptive advertising and marketing on their component, as this as the top quality of a 450 watt PSU.

Its still going; but study cautiously! I purchased on this 9-20-09 for ื.99 to use to keep an old P4 program alive and it did its job. Now I have a Arock 890 GX Intense threePhenom II X4 Evga 560Ti w four X2gb Gskill Ram 500gb WD Sata3 HDand I'd say this is about the minimum PSU you want to use and I strategy on obtaining a better PSU next week. While it's fine for a reduce power machine, it's not sufficient for a modern day rig, voltages are not steady. It's four rails to make up 650 watts is just not robust adequate when my rig is pushed it causes the method to freeze or crash at 1yr old the იv rail is only cranking out 11.84v, CPU calls for 1.42 but but fluctuates as low as 1.38 when anxiety testing, anytime the technique is pushed voltage drops. I'm not taking off eggs due to the fact this wasn't purchased to power a contemporary technique. But I would not advise this for a modern day system. It's held up for more than a year now, but 4 rails to make 40amps on the იv rail @ 650watts does not equal a powerful PSU. Not 80+ certifiedAt present price tag of 54.99 I would look for a anything else, definitely not great for new Intel I5- I7 or Phenom II chips, not powerful enough for gaming video cards. If this ever reaches the 79.99 price tag it's undoubtedly not worth the cash, recall I only paid 39.99 a year ago!

like the title says it does what i require it to do. the blue led in the fan appears sick when it mixes with my green lights in the case. uncomplicated to install works proper out of the box...if only it was modular it would be outstanding but for the price...what are you complaining about??? none. amd athlon II x3 2.9GHz triple core Rana4gb ddr3 1600 G.skill ripjaws series650w apevia PSUsapphire hd radeon 4860 1gb

Operates effectively...really quiet. None so far The sata energy is all on 1 line, and barely tends to make it to the bottom of a complete size tower. Must be fine for midsize or smaller.

Anything. The LED is awesome (Even even though I can't see it..... GRRR I HATE YOU DELL FOR Giving ME NO SIDE PANEL WINDOW!) I enjoy the cable protectors, they are simpler to manage than the all about bad ones that Dell gives you. Anything is awesome. N/A for correct now. It was a tight fit inside my Dell Inspiron 518 case but we managed it.

Appealing, like the blue fan, tiny and easy to match Absolutely wouldn't get for a complete tower case with many HD's. I got mine sitting in my NZXT Zero and I ended up producing due by changing around the cables and working with diverse HD sata energy cables.

black sleeved cables650 wattsdecent amount of ampsenough connectors!super affordable ษ.00 all SATA connectors are on 1 string...if i had a sata dvd drive this would be a dilemma.only two strings with molex connectors...my mobo requirements a molex, as do my two dvd drives, one IDE drive, and my fans. with 3 molex on every string i had to run the wire down the center of my case, creating it appear negative and restricting airflow, granted 1 isnt gonna do muchh, but 3 sets of 2 would have been nicer than 2 sets of 3 i had a 520w psu from them that a buddy of mine gave me for my very first pc develop... worked for a week then one day BAM didnt turn on.. nothing. so i attempted one more psu he had laying about (antec) and that worked. i decided to take the apevia apart to take the fans, and the date printed was 2005. 4 years isnt terrible... is it? for 25 bucks if it lasts three years ill be happy.

Worked good out of the box. Powers my Asus P5Q Pro Turbo mobo, GTS250 GPU, and 3.16 Ghz intel CPU in an Antec 900 case (all fans connected) for a lot of hours without even acquiring warm. As a couple of reviewers have noted, some of the cables are a bit short, so I wouldn't recommend using this in a full-tower case. Even in my mid-tower Antec 900 (PSU in the bottom rear of the case), the SATA cables barely reach my DVD drive in the top bay.

Powers my Athlon II X4, 9800 gtx+, gt240, 3 tough drives, dvd burner, sound card. appears good, wrapped cabling.Specs say 4x6-pin PCI connectors, it came with 2x6 and 2x8 pin connectors.ฮ for 650 wattsDont let the rebate fool you, ฮ is the normal cost for this psu. The rebate has been readily available for the last 6 months straight. Soon after six months of ownership, I bought a 9800gtx+ Immediately after installing that card, the psu has been emitting both a buzzing and a ultra high frequency whine. And the noise wont quit when I get rid of my 9800 and revert to my old card. I determined that the buzzing isn't coming from the psu fan, but it's coming from the circuitry inside the psu. This has me a bit worried. The buzzing isn't super loud, but it sounds type of like and old circuit breaker that is buzzing because too a lot energy is flowing by means of it. If it werent for this, my rig would be sileng. Grrr!A different point to note, all 4 SATA connectors are on a single cable. So all of your SATA devices want to be positioned pretty close to every single other in your case, otherwise you wont be capable to connect them.

a lot of obtainable sata connections The technique has all the correct power connections you could need to have except for the 4 pin for the Motherboard. There is also no location that i have discovered that has the six pin to 4 pin adapter, so this is a total waste of money if you have a 4pin on your motherboard. Manufacturer Response:The ATX-JV650W Java power supply does come with a 4-pin motherboard connector. The 8-pin that comes with it can be unclipped into two 4-pin connectors. One particular of these goes to the motherboard.

Somewhat desirable exterior with blue led, sleeved cables. Not 80+ certified. Sunbeamtech could price it at 80%, but it's not 80+ certified. It's not listed on the 80plus's website, and in order to be tested by the 80plus organization it should be APFC, which this is not as evidenced by the voltage selector switch. But, once more, it is not 80% efficient. No Non-APFC can do much more than about 75%, especially at this price. Don't anticipate it to last as well long.

Plenty of power to handle your requires. It is powering all my internal, usbs, and external pieces with no a hiccup. The major fan handles the cooling and was pleasantly shocked how quiet it is. Fit my Apevia case like a glove, which must not be surprising. None so far. Will see how extended it lasts. If it lasts as long as my Thermaltake 430w Ɠ years just moved to Mom's) then I will be much more than pleased A good purchase with the October rebate.Rebate practically pays for the overnight shipping.
