I bought this after much research. Just built a new rig in my old case which runs 5 hard drives and Crossfire dual video cards. Needless to say, this case is really full. I run lots of fans, lights, bling to the max. This power supply has plenty of power for everything. In fact, I was doing some benchmark tests and the power supply ramped up so far, my breaker on my backup power brick tripped. I've never had that happen. Like the lights, very solidly built. No cons. At least not yet; been running it a couple of weeks.

A couple months after I built my system, my pc started randomly shutting off for no reason, and with no warning. Was not overheating and I do not overclock. One year after purchase, my pc again randomly shut off and this time would not power back on. I pulled the PSU and tested it. It will now only power on if the unit is facing with the fan up, or fan to the right. In the other two positions, it will not power up at all, so in order to use this PSU, I would have to put my pc on its side (the side with the removable door facing down) or upside down on its top. The information that came with the unit says 3 year warranty but the apevia web site states very clearly that it has a 1 year warranty. I will call Apevia tomorrow to see if they will honor the 3 year but don't really want another product made by them anyway.
beliveme or not?

My brother and I both bought this PSU. It worked fine for me, but my brother's smoked and stopped working as soon as he installed it after he pressed the silver button in back that changes the LED lights. But the price with the rebate is too hard to pass up! :-)

The lights are nice, the construction is high quality, the sleeves for the cables are very durable. I like how you can shut off the lights if your going to be gone. I havn't had any problems with it yet and hopefully I won't. A+ even if its a little pricey.
