very nice little thumb drive. Seems like it will withstand a lot of wear due to its metal shell. I like the loop on it for putting it on a chain, keychain, etc. Very happy with this purchase so far. |

This flash drive is probably the best flash drive I have used recently. Not only is it sleek and stylish, but it doesn't have any of the glaring issues I have found with other flash drives in the past. It is made of magnesium so the chassis will not separate and it also feels very solid in the hand. I got 136 MB/s read and 43 MB/s write speeds on the 32GB variant of the UV131, much more than I got on the 16GB model. The fact that this flash drive isn't so small that I misplace it daily but still compact is also awesome, especially when considering the performance. The only thing I didn't love about this flash drive is that I needed to use a string to put it on my fat keychain. All around this flash drive is incredibly well-rounded and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice looking, quality flash drive that won't break the bank |

I bought this to replace my wife's old USB 2.0 flash drive. Its performance is quite impressive, offering close to 150MB seq read / 60MB seq write under HD Tune Pro and CrystalDiskMark. The entry point of the stick was a particularly tight fit into my USB 3.0 port, and after the first use it immediately left visible indentations all around the stick, which is kind of a turn off. Overall though, it is an affordable yet fast stick with an attractive design and high quality material.
