Of course an additional Fantastic deal from Newegg. The cable is ten feet lengthy and audio sounds wonderful. I've had no challenges with the ends clipping into my devices and they are both genuinely snug. Couldn't seriously inform a important difference between my old composite cables and this Digital Optical cable but I've been told it tends to make a major difference..but I don't really think so..

value! Low cost for this length price! Nevertheless more than I wanted to pay has cover thingies that remain with the cable so you won't loose them. Has a nice feel to them like they wont get tangled quickly.

Great value and NewEgg got it to me swift as often. Plugged into my laptop ok clicked in just fine but my Onkyo it will not click or lock into spot.

A descently priced cable that worked as advertised. My entertainment center set up needed a long cable. I was skeptical in purchasing long digital optical audio cables, thinking that it could degrade the sound high quality. Possessing no option but to obtain one particular, I picked this distinct item produced by Belkin. Surprisingly, it functions great, even with all the sharp bends it has to go via. I have a complete-motion tv wall bracket and to hide the cables, I have to route it by way of the bracket's cable management system. There's a couple of sharp angles if the bracket is not in the extended position. I would suggest this superb item to everyone. The cable is loose on the finish that connects to the Tv, but the other finish that connects to my receiver snapped into location. My second digital optical audio cable connecting my satellite receiver to the digital receiver snapped into location on their respective optical audio sockets. So based on what I seasoned, the looseness can not be blamed on the cable; as an alternative, the blame is on the gear exactly where it connects to. That is why I'm giving this item 5 eggs. Rapidly shipment as usual from Newegg.

This cable is properly built (like other pure AV items) and works. Only challenge is that the cable is loose and will not stay in the optical audio sockets.

Works Possibly I just got a undesirable one but I can stress how poorly it plugs into the SPDIF inputs on both ends of the cable. Each connections are incredibly loose. Spending this substantially cash on a cable you would feel it would have a beefy snap in connection to whatever you are plugging it into but it doesn't at all. The cable hangs in the inputs extremely loosely. I would look elsewhere for a higher finish cable.

Comments: the cables themselves appeared to be ok, but on my reciever they fell off simply. on my two DVD players, they "clicked" into place nicely, and only broke no cost after when tilting the unit to connect some other cables. on the reciever it looks like the jacks are a bit far more recessed, and the cable ends were not long adequate to pilot all the way in appropriately. another 1ቬth of an inch on the insert and it would have worked a lot better

it worked at least a little although I bought this three.3.2006, and I haven't moved it in more than three years... nowadays I turned on the Tv and stereo, and there was no sound. I checked every thing, and fortunately had a Monster optical cable handy that worked. It doesn't allow sufficient light through it to function. It's never been damaged, and by no means been pinched. I had this cable and the Monster plugged into 2 working devices, and I noticed that the red light emitted from the PureAV cable was Drastically dimmer than the other. The sound no longer flows, so hopefully PureAV can replace it beneath warranty because I'd hate this to be my final Belkin cable.

Does what it's supposed to do. Connector on one particular finish is slightly malformed and hence does not "snap" into one particular of my elements as it should so minus one particular egg for that. I would purchase yet again because Belkin has a great reputation.
