Cons: Powercolor version not as powerful..

Pros: Very good graphics
Comment:
Got this card almost a year ago, I will keep this simple and sweet. The card is still great, ok it is not as powerful as my diamond 4850, it does not have crossfire, but if your looking for a card that is still slightly above average for a modest gaming rig, or for a htpc, this is an excellent card.It is selling for less than other branded 4850s because it has no CF connections and its not as fast, but I heard these are easily overclocked. All in all, still a good card for a budget build!

Cons: It is slightly neutered in the sense that the card's memory is running slightly under spec.

Pros: Very powerful card for the price. Can play any game at 1680x1050 perfectly.
Comment:
I didn't buy this card from NCIX rather from DirectCanada which is NCIX's sister site I assume. However it is the same card being reviewed regardless.

Cons: No Crossfire connectorMemory speed is 1400 MHz(600 MHz below stock speed)

Pros: Price (75 bucks for a still-good card is great)Overclocking (see below)Dual-slot cooler
Comment:
Though the card may come with just 1400 MHz of memory speed, it very easily "overclocks" back to stock speeds of 2000- it's a good overclocking card all-around because the dual-slot cooler can keep it around 70 C i 770 Core/2002 Memory. For a 75 dollar card, with about the same performance as the 57XXs (and GTS 250 which is about the same price now), it's definitely worth a look, even for today's games.

Cons: Cut down version?

Pros: Nice priceGood performance
Comment:
I bought this card mainly for gaming. It works correctly on most games. One problem is that I heard that the Powercolor version was a cut down version of that card...

Cons: the major con is the ram speed. its down clocked to 700mhz/1400mhz which is about 45Gb/sec.of memory bandwidth. that is a big drop  from the standard 993/1986 m 63.5gb/sec. i checked the specs out at powercolor site. other minor con would be no hardware cross-fire, just software. no x-fire link finger on the card. for some this won't matter.

Pros: have been thinking about getting this because its a 4850. the price is right. cooler looks like it will do a great job. Like that it does not need a video adapter.
Comment:
If the card was a standard spec, i would be all over it. i wonder what the real difference in gaming performance is. could be minimal. probably still better than most cards that costs 85.

Cons: large unit

Pros: great for mild gaming!
Comment:
This is a piece of a gaming rig. It's nice for the modest game who wants a gaming card at a reasonable price. I wouldn't pit up there with a 6850 but it does its job nicely. Great buy for its price.

Cons: 512mb, no crossfire cable, no 6pin power thingy

Pros: Price, Good preformance
Comment:
Real solid card, the preformance is right up there. I like the card, but it doesn't have a crossfire bridge(that i din expect) or a 6 pin power connector thing. Overall solid buy, for a cheap reliable strong card below 100, cant get better than 4850

Cons: nothing of notice

Pros: Quieter than my old 7800gtstrong performance upgradeeasy to install and update  drivers
Comment:
Needed to replace my 7800gt card due to some choppy video problems. This card took 2 days to deliver and was an easy swap of cards, very easy to find drivers online. So far I have only played STALKER clear skies, and it runs at medium/low settings, but it is an upgrade from my previous card.I believe my video/graphics problems still exist from a separate hardware/software issue, but had high hopes that a new video card would be the fix.

Cons: slow at stock speeds.

Pros: reasonably priced, has audio over HDMI, fan is quiet, overclocks well.
Comment:
I used to have the ZOTAC GTS 250 1GB they always have on sale right now. I traded that for a new power supply. I was happy with the speed of the ZOTAC, but it couldn't do audio over HDMI, and I needed that feature as I am going to turn my PC into an HTPC eventually. This card performs well when overclocked, but still isn't as fast as the GTS 250. It gets around 100 fps on the Streetfighter IV benchmark and the GTS 250 was getting 113 fps with the same settings. Have only played NFS: ProStreet so far and the PowerColor was a dog as stock clocks. Performs much better with an overclock of 680/860, core/mem. So if you want pure speed and don't need audio over HDMI, go for the ZOTAC, otherwise get this card and overclock it. They are both reasonably priced right now. Hope this helps someone.

Cons: No x-fire,average cooler.

Pros: Price,HDMI,Good overclocker.
Comment:
Received this card today. No X-Fire bridge as expected. My motherboard only has one PCIe slot so it's not an issue for me. The cooler is somewhat standard and found on many ATINvidia cards. Cools well enough. The card is smaller then reference (8") as are most Powercolor cards. The fan hasn't gone over 48% on full load and is relatively quiet. Temps went from 52 idle to 76 full load on an open case. There is plenty of overclocking room here. I got the memory to 940 (1880mhz) with no errors over 3 hours. Core was untouched but I'm sure there's some headroom there. I'm using the HDMI out to my monitor and get strange artifacts on startup. Everything is fine when windows is loaded. Plugged the VGA out to my monitor with no artifacts on startup. The issue may be my HDMI cable. Will try another one or I smell an RMA. Played COD MW and BFBC2 on high settings. Smooth as silk. Excellent card for the money.Highly recommended.
