Cons: Uses two power supply connector.

Pros: FastStock cooler seems to do the job well
Comment:
This card is cheap yet extremely fast. It's performance is amazing. The installation was easy to do. The only small thing is that the fan of the heatsink is a little bit out of the card making it possible to hit wires that could be there if you don't tie them well.

Cons: Power hogFan can get loud

Pros: FAST!Runs cool
Comment:
A solid card, runs every game out at max settings [even Crysis runs great]. Temps are idle at 50 degrees C and top out at 70 degrees C. For the price there is no reason not to get it!

Cons: Loud. Heatsink fell off upon opening the box.

Pros: Great performance out of the box. Adds real life jet engine sound to your flight simulator game.
Comment:
First video card since Radeon 8500LE. Out of the box, the heatsink fell off (it's only held by a strip of glue). So the lazy idiot that I am I decided to hold it in place with 2 rubber bands. It's been working so farAlso, it is VERY LOUD until you install the Catalyst suite, after which the fan is inaudible until playing a game, where the noise threatens to lift you off into space. Idling temp measured with CPUID is in the 66-70 range with the fan manually set at 40%. Buy this card if you're not picky about noise and want fast performance for minimal cost (at $150AR it was a good $40-50 cheaper than other brands). There looks to be another design version of this card wherein the heatsink is enclosed by a red plastic housing mounted on the card. Certainly looks more physically stable than the one I have. Though that could've been the 512mb version I was reading about..

Cons: None

Pros: Fast, this thing can play any game on its highest settings. The temperature is great. Not loud.
Comment:
I absolutely love this graphics card. 150 after rebate for a Radeon 4890. Can play everything any game. My temperatures are around 55 degrees on idle and 65 on load, never crossed 65 degrees. The fan isnt loud at all. I am using it without after market cooling and its a really good temperature. My previous card a XFX 4870, ran about 95 degrees on load, so this is a huge difference. I dont know what happened to the other people but mine is great. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-09-09 07:15 AM

Cons: -Noise-Power consumption-Heat

Pros: -Price-Speed
Comment:
Overall I have to say this is a very good video card. It is a cut down of the AMD reference HD4890, the parts are of lower quality; however, it runs at stock speeds just fine, but don't expect much oc headroom. At the black friday sale prices, this thing is unbeatable. 7 dollars cheaper than the 5770 even before rebate, and performs a LOT faster, by large margins.Downsides... this card runs very hot, the stock cooler is incapable of cooling this card. Running furmark results in the card going above 100C on the core. The stock cooler is extremely noisy as well. Again as I've mentioned before, it's a very good card overall, but i highly recommend an aftermarket cooler just to keep the card under 90C if possible at tolerable noise levels. Still going to give it 4 stars for the excellent stock performance.

Cons: Where's the HDMI connection ?

Pros: Fast, not so loud (compared with previous 4850).
Comment:
Here's a quote from product description:# HDMI output support * All display resolutions up to 1920x10803 * Integrated HD audio controller with support for stereo and multi-channel (up to 7.1) audio formats, including AC-3, AAC, DTS5, enabling a plug-and-play audio solution over HDMIDid they say PLUG-AND-PLAY HDMI or what? Where is the HDMI adapter? Now I need to source one, buy it, get it shipped and wait for it because I absolutely need it for my setup. At least 20$ wasted. Come on, this thing must cost them 0,02$.If the mail-in rebate never comes through I will be back to lower my review to 1 star.

Cons: Fan can be loud, but not as loud as my 8800GT. So Im not complaining.

Pros: AwesomeFast
Comment:
Ok, I been reading the reviews and I was almost regretting this purchase. I dont know if Im lucky or something but I have no problems with this card. I can see people complaining about the fan but it is quieter than my 8800GT which got super hot and loud. Very happy with my new card.

Cons: - runs hot 50C idle, 75-80C max load in FurMark. Still reasonable as my old 8800 GTS 512 G92 ran at even higher temps- fan is quiet at idle but at 70% and above it will be the loudest noise coming from your PC

Pros: - Amazing performance for the money- Comparible to nvidia 275 to 280 GTX series and even comes close to 285 GTX with some games- small card compared to 260 + GTX series cards (1.5" shorter)
Comment:
Great card for the money. Picked it up on sale for only $150 after rebate. First card was overheating and would lock up occasionally. Thanks to NCIX Burnany store for great customer service, they replaced it quickly and this one is working great. Stock performance is on par with GTX 280 in almost all games and 4890 costs over $125 less! I was going to wait for the 5850 but at $300+ I couldn't justify it. Any video card imo that costs more than a PS3/360 is VERY hard to justify, no matter how fast it is or the technology behind it. Considering this runs pretty much any game at max settings 60+ fps at 1368x720 or 1600x900 anything else is overkill!

Cons: Hot ... The Heatsink are worst then the Ati Reference Model ...

Pros: Good Performance Card..
Comment:
Good Card for the perf ... But the heatsink do a worst job ...even on my 900 case. I think im gonna switch the heatsink for a real good one made by Zalman!

Cons: Non reference design. No heatsink for memory chip and many VRM. Three VRM are located right under the crossfire bridge and some are located at the back plane that make it difficult to modding by third party VGA cooler.Build-in cooler is single heatpipe and unable to coll down the chip. No CF bride included in the package.

Pros: Comptetitive price
Comment:
I bought this item on sale and thought this is a good deal. But the non reference design the 3rd party VGA cooler such as Thermalright T-RAD2 GTX VRM-R1 cannot be used. Furthermore the VRM without heat sink make the card very very hot. There are 3 hot VRM without heat sink installed just right under the CF bridge. There are more at the back plane, again without heat sink. The fan did not cover the cooling of VRM near the power input. By running the card for 10 minutes, you can hardly touch the card.At idle with default fan speed 33%, the temperatures (Celsius) are: GPU=54; VRM=65; RAM=54At full load (Furmark) auto 57% fan speed, the temperatures are: GPU=65; VRM=75, RAM=67Change to Aerocool Twinturbo with 2x92 fans, and a lot of heat sinks:At idle: GPU=34, VRM=35, RMA=32At full load: GPU=50,, VRM=48; RAM=43Its ok to buy if you have time and spare parts to change the cooler and add more heat sinks on both side of the card.

Cons: Fan noise is unbearable.

Pros: It can play anything at max settings.
Comment:
The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 is because it would not allow me to post unless I ordered it online. Although this card can play anything well, if the fan speed is ever over 50%, it becomes a constant annoyance that is as loud as the game you are playing. If it is over 60%, it sounds like your neighbor is mowing the lawn. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they intend to spend around another $50 for a different cooling solution.

Cons: Man the fan is loud when card is under full load. Also the picture makes you think full cover its not, ehausts into your case

Pros: Lots of shaders, good clock speed and value
Comment:
The card has worked like a charm running Fyh 24/7 pretty much and works flawless doing so since i bought it. While it does not OC all that well, actually not at all really it is more then fast enough.COD, MSFS 10 amazing to look at and never hits over 45% load the card just sails through textures. Now for the downside, well it does not overclock, and the cooling could be a ton better. While not Massively hot 78C while folding after 24hrs solid the fan is damn loud. Also the pic looks like a full cover rear ehaust it is not. It sends the heat into your case, so have a well ventialted case. I use a CM690 case so is not a issue other then the summer heatwave it would have been a bugger.I choose this over a 4870 since when I bought this the 4870's where not that much cheaper then this, and after the $20 rebate I just received was pretty much the same price. Overall a good card, but am thinking I will replace the stock cooler so its more quiet in the coming weeks. This review was modfied by poster v 10-30-09 02:33 PMI am revising this to 3 stars because after 36 days of folding the fan is now dying and dont expect it to last much longer. I should have done more research as this seems to be a ongoing Issue with this card and Powercolour in general. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-09-09 06:15 AM
