Cons: 512MB Vram

Pros: Good mid level card
Comment:
The 5770 offers great value for a mid level card. IT can play most current games at decent settings. I use 1920x1080 resolution and I'm happy with it's performance.

Cons: For higher resolutions going for the 1 gig is probably worth it.Not much cheaper for half the memoryStock fan is loud-ish

Pros: Good mid range card for the price.512 memory works fine for 1600x900Game graphics look fine for meGDDR5 memoryRuns fairly cool, although could be better for the fan noise.
Comment:
Overall a good purchase if you get your's on special. Compared the rest of my computer, the fan on this is the loudest. Good mid range card for the price.Runs fairly cool, although could be better for the fan noise. Most games won't really benefit from the extra GDDR5 if you're using 1920x1080 or below. If you're looking for a cheaper option to run current and upcoming games on decent setting you can't go wrong with this.

Cons: - Has limited power when it comes to high resolution gaming- Lack of Displayport means no 3-screen eyefinity

Pros: - Very good price for a DX11 card- Runs quietly
Comment:
The Powercolor 5770 is an entry level gamer card, which can most likely handle all of last year's games at 1920x1200 resolution max. Anything above that and you'll have to spend 100ish dollars more to upgrade to a 58XX card. For its purpose it does very well. It'll run modern day games at medium to high settings. However, for its price, one can also get similar if not better performance from last generation's 4870, which can probably be found cheaper. So, if you're not going to be heavily gaming in the DX11 realm, or if you're not going to be doing 2-screen eyefinity, a 4870 will probably be a better bet than this, and you can save a bit of cash.

Cons: no display port on this model, so no triple screen eyefinity. you can use only 2 screens

Pros: dx11 card - eyefinity "compatible"
Comment:
i buy it because it was one of the cheapest dx11 card.. but it was a bad idea to buy this card. For 20$ more, you can buy the same model (ati 5770) with 1go of ram (instead of 512mo) and with a display port for triple screens rig instead of 2.it's a good medium level card but the price is not good for the limitation (memory and number of screen port).the manual was (intentionally ?) not clear about the screen limitation of this model (in eyefinity mode). On ATI site, 5xxxx model dx11 cards without display port are not even supposed to exist.

Cons: Loud. Hot.

Pros: Very powerful. Overclocking room.
Comment:
Great card but gets stupidly hot in CROSSFIRE (100C-105C). Fan is louder than some other 5770's that are longer and have the stock batman cooler.A single one is fine but this card gets too hot in crossfire.

Cons: -Should have gotten the dual DVI, but VGA is alright.

Pros: -Powerful-Overclockable-Cost Effective
Comment:
Super amazing card. I can literally run almost any game on high (Bad Company 2, Team Fortress 2, Modern Warfare 2) and get amazing rates. You can also crossfire two of these to get some insane performance, but that's only if you want to play Crysis at 40-50 fps...It's also a highly overclock-able beast, so I'll probably be keeping this baby for a LONG time!

Cons: Loud card at 100% fan speed

Pros: Price to performance ratio, DX11 compatible, Overclockability
Comment:
It overclocks like a champ and gives the 260GTX a run for it's money. The impressive thing of the PowerColor HD5770 is the fact that it uses such a small amount of power. If you are looking for a new video card to get you ready for DX11 and give you some great results at an affordable price, I would take a serious look at the PowerColor HD5770.

I bought it 2 months ago to replace my 8800GT that i had since 2 years and i'm very please with his performance. It's very quiet in idle and in charge. I tought it's run very hot but no, the arctic cooling fan make a good job. A great card with great performance in Dirt2 and CODMW2.thx NCIX This review was modfied by poster @ 03-08-10 07:40 PM

Cons: Flickering when playing videos at full resolution. Customer support is non existent. Overclocking causes crashing.

Pros: Solid card for casual gamers. The card runs fairly cool and quiet.
Comment:
I bought this card to casually game on MW2 and CSS. I get from 50fps to 100fps in CSS and my play has noticeably improved. On both MW2 I find that playing at 1280x800 gives me smooth frame rates, however going to 1680x1050 looks sharper and crisper but loses the smoothness and can be jerky in intense action sequences. The card runs pretty quiet. I don't like noisy computer equipment, so when I say it is quiet enough, then that means it should work for most people. Temperatures are about 45 Celcius and 45% fan speed for normal Windows activity. The temperature goes up to 65 Celcius with normal game play. Also the fan kicks in louder, greater than 55% during games, which doesn't matter much since with headphones or in game you won't hear it.I like the fact that this card uses little power. You can overclock it in Catalyst Control Center, but I find that I wasn't necessary. I also noticed that overclocking caused MW2 to crash. One issue I had was I noticed horizontal flickering when playing videos (ie. youtube). However, to solve this issue I had to first open up Windows Media Player, play a video in WMP, then leave WMP open. Going back to playing the videos in youtube afterwards I didn't get the flickering. I don't know what's wrong with this. I downloaded the latest drivers from PowerColor but that didn't help. Also I emailed them, but they never answered.I would purchase again because it's a pretty good card. But if you have problems don't expect customer service to contact you.
