Cons: - the HIS graphic on the card and box sucks; i prefer warrior-type women wearing fun outfits ;-)- 'DX 11' really does next to nothing on current titles

Pros: - good stock fan/cooling- raw power: yikes!!- cannot bring this card to its knees at 1920x1200
Comment:
Have put this 5850 through its paces and then some - currently playing Metro 2033 u 1920x1200 'Very High' detail and I find no reason to lower the setting - it just EATS through whatever I throw at it. Card cools exceptionally well with fan between 35 and 40% (under full-load). The online download of Dirt2 was an excellent bonus (why I chose this model) as it's a great, fun, game.

Cons: - Dirt 2 is a Steam download.

Pros: - Reasonable price- Fantastic performance

I won't lie: I've been a hardcore Nvidia fan since the TNT2 - but since I purchased an AMD system, I figured I'd round it off with this beast. The review sites don't lie, it's as fast as they say it is, the driver package is nice and intuitive (not like ATI drivers of yesteryear) and the price point is perfect. The best part: This card replaced an AGP Nvidia 5900XT. My brain literally exploded when I played Crysis with this thing.

Cons: - CCC overclock limited to 775/1125

Pros: + blazing performance+ deliciously low power consumption+ surprisingly quiet

Words fall short to describe  this card. While it's twice as fast as the 9800GTX it replaced, that's not what I love most about it. PC idles/downloads at

Cons: No power adapters included

Pros: Fast as hellDual DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI w/ audioLow idle power consumptionDIRT2
Comment:
Sick card, plays everything smoothly at 1920x1200 with max detail except for games like Crysis etc. Stock cooler is a bit loud when idle, but quieter than most at load. Replaced mine with an Twin Turbo (had to use my own fans and bend the fins to avoid the DVI box cover).PowerColor are stingy though - only a CrossFire bridge and DVI to VGA adapter are included. No power adapters.

Cons: The card takes up an unnecessary amount of room in my case because the power connectors are on the end (not on the side like the 5870, I don`t know why they could not be similar)Not sure if this is common with longer cards but the card is bending ever so slightly downward due to the distance the card exceeds the PCI-E bus by.

Pros: Very fast card. More than enough for my 1920x1080 screen.Runs everything I have played at maximum detail.HDMI audio turned out to be a useful feature for me.
Comment:
I bought this card in October as soon as I saw it in stock and experienced quite possibly the biggest graphical leap known to computers (from integrated ATI 3300).Looking at the insane performance of this card and how much it cost me, I think I could have worked with the smaller and cheaper 5770. The upside to this is that I probably won`t need to change cards for years now.I have not experienced any problems so far with this product and I am incredibly satisfied.

Cons: - Very basic bundle

Pros: - Fast- Quiet- Price compared to similar models- Free Dirt 2- Low temps
Comment:
Upgraded from a 3870 and was very pleasantly surprised at the new depth games took, much the same as when I initially upgraded to the 3870.I can now run L4D2, CODMW2 and other recent titles at full settings at 1920x1200 and still get stellar performance as well as low temps.Since I don't keep video cards for more than a couple of years, I was not tempted to spend more on another branded card. Really, if this card dies after 4 or 5 years.. what am I going to get? Maybe 40 or 50 bucks towards a replacement of the equivalent class card at the time which may cover shipping from the manufacturer? The included bundle is quite limited aside from the Dirt 2 coupon that pretty much all 58xx cards come with you get a crossfire bridge and a dvi-to-vga adapter. Personally, I could care less if I got a door hanger, badge, screw driver or a toothpick. It would be nice to see a molex-to-pcie power adapter (Y cable) but that only really matters if you have a single 6 pin pcie cable from your power supply. All in all, this is a great video card and projects a better price-to-performance ratio than others.I'll be looking for another PowerColor branded Radeon when I upgrade from this one.Highly recommended.

Cons: Issue with my Card

Pros: Very Fast Card

Recieved My Powercolor 5850 card on Friday.I was so excited , I opened the box had a look at the contents and Quickly Used the DIRT 2 coupon on my Computer while my older card was still in the machine, as it was a very large download and I wasnt gonna install the 5850 till later that night. I got home from work and Uninstalled older card (3870)cleaned all drivers and Installed the 5850 fresh. Turned the power button on , waited to sign on and my Computer rebooted by itself.I restarted the computer and thought maybe it was a small glitch and the Computer Rebooted again soon as the password Screen / Windows Tune played.Fustrated now I restarted the computer again , and this time I was able to log into Windows , and the Card was finaly recognized, so I of course tried a Run at 3DMark to see what kinda score this new card would get and I was very very happy it scored 18,940 with no Overclocking of any sort on my Computer or GPU.I then tried COD Modern Warfare 2 and soon as it tried to load same issue again Computer rebooted and when it restarted my computer said there was no driver installed again and back to 800x600 resolution. I repeated this about a dozen times , but my computer will not recognize or install drivers for this card. I have sent this Card back to NCIX extremely fustrated as I was supposed to get an ASUS but opted to have Powercolor as they were in stock.** Iam Extremley Satisified with NCIX response with this issue as iam Very new to any form of RMA or returns like this**. Unfortunatley I jumped the gun and had the Card Expressed shipped Purolator that I payed for not realizing that they would have Paid for it (collect) and I have to call in tomorrow to tell them to pull out the DIRT 2 Coupon from my new card to use with the RMA Card. Not sure if I just had bad luck with a Bad Card or its something common with Powercolor ?? I am very excited to get my new card and Most definatley happy with NCIX Customer service so far.....lets see how they handle the DIRT 2 Coupon issue tho 1st-H-Tennant
