immediately after practically a month now have had no issues I have under no circumstances heard the fan on the card at all. im not a hardcore gamer, but I have been playing crysis, crysis2 and COD4 with it and it seems to be a great spending budget card. only maybe that I didnt have a crossfire motherboard to see what two of these would do in crossfire, but the single card is performing anything I throw at it. I didnt even attempt the driver disc it came with just downloaded the newest a single from the ati web site and it just worked. I have had ati cards a handful of years ago, and the install of this existing card has none of the complications I had had installing ati vid cards and drivers in the past. glad I bought it

Handles anything I have thrown at it so far (nothing as well stressful yet)Low temperatures The rebate process. The rebate server has difficulty sending emails to certain domains (like comcast.net) when I known as buyer service about it I was sooner or later given my rebate quantity over the telephone (speaking to the 4th individual) as it was not becoming sent to me. Lets see if I ever in fact get it. I hate rebates

Worked out of the box, ATI drivers installed from the get go. Great frames rates in every thing I have played (HL2, WOW, Civ 5), obtaining 60fps+. Seems to be operating extremely cool as effectively. Not considerably in the box in addition to the card, if you care about that. Not a sticker even. Oh effectively. This was exactly what I anticipated, so it gets the five egg remedy. Some people have stated the fan is loud on begin up, but I haven't noticed it...

Very higher overall performance devoid of breaking the bank or your electric bill!! Won't order a pizza. :) Beware that the HD 6xxx series of GPUs are not presently supported by the Folding @ Property project's GPU client application. They are working to resolve this.

Physical size, quantity of video ram, DX11 help, Crossfire capable. On par with my GTX 460. I had some minor troubles with the drivers on the CD. After installing, my LG W2252TQ was not appropriately recognized and I kept getting a signal out of variety error. My guess is more of a driver issue than anything wrong with the video card. Alternatively of trying to repair my issue by way of Safe mode I reinstalled XP Pro. Downloaded ten.10b and have had no troubles given that. It is installed in an ASRock 890FX MB with a Phenom II 965. Overall I am pleased with the functionality. It isn't rather what I get with my Core i7 but for the cash I would advocate the setup to any individual. Immediately after I add the second card its gaming performance will be even much better and it ain't as well shabby correct now. My Intel MB is X58 I might just switch. :)

This is a good graphics card. Quick and beautiful on ultra for Shogun 2. Difficult to install. I was performing a new laptop set up and the graphics card wasn't getting detected. Apparently you need to have an OPERATING System in order to detect the graphics card. A bunch of headaches later and I figured I would just use an old nvidia graphics card to set up Windows 7. Initially time purchaser ATI graphics card and I possibly will never ever get it again for new laptop builds. EVER.

Very good video card with a decent memory capacity. Can run FSX with most settings set to medium-high and can run other games with graphics cranked up nearly maximum. Won't turn your pc into a Cray supercomputer. If you're doing a price range construct, this card is worth your consideration.

Fits in typical size case with no issuesNewest Generations of cardsPerformance for CostWith ATI catalyst it overclocks to 850񳂠mhz with no issues. I haven't overclocked it yet simply because it bottlenecks the hell out of my Phenom II x2 555 BE ʃ.8ghz (I guess thats more of a pro) Possibly i'll get the full use out of this card when i upgrade my Phenom II 555, i'll try and unlock the other two cores just before i commit the funds even though.

Useful possibilities, great worth, didn't have to spend a lot more for "free games" or software program that I do not need to have. A tiny difficult to get onto micro-ATX arrangement, but practically nothing to complain about. I got this to upgrade the graphics on an ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 micro ATX board (was using ATI Radeon HD 4250) so that I could play RIFT and other comparable game. I had video settings on minimum ahead of but now I can run it with just about everything on higher/ultra settings. It was a rapid set up to get up and operating - I would propose it if you need that kind of upgrade.

Rapid! runs all the games i have at highest settings without any difficulties, overclocks particularly well, has copper heat pipes, runs cool, and quiet even when the fan is manually set to 75-80% None so far Just an all around fantastic card for the dollars. I have applied powercolor a number of occasions in diverse builds and they have in no way let me down and this time was no different. I upgraded from a xfx 5770 that i had to rma that was a fairly very good card, right after i received a operating one but it ran super hot! This card runs cool and the fan is substantially quieter than that of the 5770, i cant hear it more than my case fans when manually set to 75-80%. If you are on the fence about this card dont be, just buy it and you wont be disappointed! I have utilized various unique brands of cards and i have had the ideal luck with this brand, i have had to RMA cards from xfx, his, msi, but under no circumstances powercolor.

I started off the create for my Pc with a gtx 460 se seeking for good top quality and a great cost point. The 460 is a good card and preformed properly but I wanted to see how an ATI would evaluate for about the exact same value point. This card was 10 much more dollars then the evga gtx 460 se card I got as effectively and preforms substantially much better then it did. Benchmarks show the 6850 getting closer tho the normal version of the gtx 460 and that price yet another 30 to 40 dollars of this card. Also it is Significantly cooler then the 460 and uses much less power. I Adore this card and I suggest it extremely extremely. not at all, it comes in superior then any card I've ever owned. Get two of these terrible boys for a xfire set up and watch it eat up just about any game now a days.

When overclocked its wonderful> For pricne point far better than a 460gtx. Receiving on DA2 over 60 fps on 1600x900 @ higher on dx11, and on highest settings 35-40fps. Fan can get bit loud, when passed 55%. Some time the driver crashes but i believe the the actual software program

Somewhat modest sizeQuiet operationOnly calls for one 6pin powerDoesn't go too hot when total-loadingRuns most existing gen games with decent fps under 1920x1200 resolution, with mid-to-higher specifics Powercolor is very stingy about accessories supplied. Only a DVI-to-VGA and a driver CD come with the card. That's it.

Cooling is good and fan is quiet below standard use. The only time I've heard it is when I manually cranked it to one hundred% just to see how loud it would get. Low power usage and reasonably low-cost so I can crossfire without breaking the bank down the road. I have this stable overclocked with stock cooling to 900mhz on the core and 1100mhz on the memory. Operates nicely with MSI Afterburner. Totally none. It would be nice if Powercolor would create a overclocking utility with this card to push it previous 850mhz which it can effortlessly do. At the very same time MSI Afterburner performs fine. I consider this card is the identical as the PCS model with a slightly less efficient cooler. This card overclocked properly beyond the factory stock clock of the PCS.

Fantastic price. Good overall performance. It laughs at most games I've employed on it. I've played Dragon Age two at max settings. Rift at max settings, Homefront, BC2, WoW, Civilization five, Bulletstorm, and a couple of other 2011 games. They all run at max or close to max settings. It has by no means gone above 65 degrees Celsius. None.

I can run all of my games on their highest settings (StarCraft II on intense/ultra at 40 - 100 fps, etc.)It only supports DVI and HDMI, but it comes with a DVI to VGA (vice versa) adapter, incredibly beneficial.Hasn't let me down yet! None! A good card for the obtain. Excellent size - not as well big that it won't fit in your mid-tower situation.
