Solid create; smooth motion for panning; bubbles seem to work fine; consists of 3 level bubbles on the head plus one particular on the leading of the legs; also has a small compass on top of the legs; tall but sturdy. Plastic leg locks (also on my last tripod that lasted 10 years ahead of one of the leg locks broke, so it may possibly be fine); the "extra fast release plate" described in the attributes list was missing in my box, so I don't know if the description is wrong or I was shorted the extra plate, so I took off a single star. I genuinely like getting two quick release plates to leave them on my D90 and Video Cam so I want to know why the description says it comes with an added a single, but mine did not. No other reviews mention missing the extra plate, so I am left to think that I'm the only one particular that did not acquire one. Legs by default pull out to a typical tripod setting for tall but sturdy, but you can make the legs go even wider, which could make for a sturdy brief setup. Sturdy, independant legs with numerous locking positions, fantastic really feel and weight, good carrying bag with strap. The levels do not work properly cheaply produced and locking the height adjustment makes it so you can no longer pan. Poorly engineered item. Do not waste the cash on this item |

Light weight and tall enough at full extension so that you don't have to bend over to use your camera. For lengthy shooting sessions that makes it considerably easier on the back and neck. If neither of those function out I will return it for a refund. For the price I didn't expect the identical create excellent as I have with the Gitzo/Manfrotto combination but I was incredibly disappointed with the Fast Release Plate.
