Cons: Lack of info.

Pros: Good Cooling
Comment:
Only meant for horizontal application. Trust me, don't use this in a tower unless you plan to never overclock. It will not function to its full potential and you'll be wasting your money.I only give this item a 3 because they ought to explicitly state what application it is meant for and what it's not meant for.

Cons: even with all the bolts tightened up, the heatsink still moves a little bit within its mounting bracket.

Pros: -good effective cooler-low profile-option for 120mm or 140mm fan

overall, i am quite happy with the product. it out performed the scythe ninja mini that i had in there before. the only gripe i have is stated in the weakness area.on an E6750 (OC'd to 3.2Ghz) i am getting 29C-31C on idle and 40C-45C on load dependant on ambient temperature.the ninja mini gave me 36C-38C on idle and 45C-50C on load. Here are a couple of pics in an Antec Sonata II case.http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3365/3625635786_6a6201f790.jpg?v=0http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3341/3625650536_88ff786952.jpg?v=0

Cons: - Price (Wait for a sale).- Size (It's a TIGHT fit in HTPC cases, but it does work, see summary).- On the heavy side.- Almost blocks Mobo screws and mobo power connectors (EP45-UD3L).

Pros: - Option for 120mm or 140 mm fans.- Vertical Size (no worries about overhead clearance in HTPC case).- Sexy looking.- Fairly simple install (See Cons)- Decent performance (cooler sinks out there, but not at this vertical footprint).
Comment:
I bought this heatsink on sale a few weeks ago, but couldn't install it until I upgraded my Power Supply with one that has longer cables (and more power for my new rig). In a HTPC case where the mobo power is right by the CPU, you'll need to have lots of cable left to have it go over or around the heatsink. In my Case (Sivlerstone Lascala LC13B) I'm idling at 41*C and loading at 49*'C with just the stock intake fans on low, and a Noctua NF-12P fan on low for the Heatsink (E7400 stock). For this Cooler to fit, the over hang needs to be pointing towards the power supply (Down in a normal case). Also, the grills on the exhaust fans needed to be removed (grills on the inside). Mobo is a Gigabyte EP45-UD3L. You can still run a fan on the side (top for normal case) with this setup (Different mobo might not be the same) but you need to install it before you attach the fan to the sink, and after you install the mobo (only 2 tops screws can be threaded in though). I recommend this as the case has really poor airflow, and you're going to need it for the cpu fan to have any cool air to draw in. I will post pictures of my fitment when I install the intake fan.

Cons: Not yet discovered

Pros: Good looking chrome finishSolid build quality
Comment:
Fitted in an mATX case this thing dominates the view in the case.I have not yet run any strict test for it, but my CPU E6600p3.6GHz idles at ~44 C, which is not bad considering it is sitting in a very crowded mATX case, and there is not much room for an efficient airflow.

Cons: -pretty big on the horizontal and with certain northbridge heatsinks it might not have enough room-hard to connect extra power 4 pin plug (12V ) to the mobo if located underneath this heatsink

Pros: -good air cooling option if you're faced with limited case clearance-great deal especially if on sale
Comment:
I have this running in a HTPC machine together with a noctua 120mm silent fan and it keeps my Q9300 at stock speed inside a Nmedia 1000B case with hot air coming from the graphics card at around 40-45 C idle and under 60 on full load - it could do better if I'd make the air flow in the case a bit better...
