I had this keyboard for three years just before it finally gave out. I beat the heck out of my keyboards in fits of gaming rage, so I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. It died. Solid keyboard, especially for the price

Just the correct size, essential angle, elevation angle, and crucial really feel. The microsoft software lets you remap a number of of the added keys. I remapped them to start my favourite applications and place smaller stickers above them to remind me what they do. I've had this keyboard for a number of years and don't think there is a better a single out there. Also has a print screen (for screen capture) and scroll lock buttons (which you require if you personal a KVM switch). None Wished that the keypad region had an equal sign. Wish there have been far more assignable buttons across the leading

-Equivalent shape to my beloved old Microsoft All-natural Keyboard, but with no the big bulge in the middle (so it fits in my tight keyboard drawer!)-Quite satisfying tactile really feel when typing-Spill-proof style... I'll admit it, I'm a single of these naughty souls who has water/soda/etc. at my laptop desk, so this is certainly a plus!-Wired... my old Microsoft wireless keyboard kept losing keystrokes and it was a Pain to get the batteries out of their inexplicably tight compartment, and because I have actually no want for a wireless keyboard, obtaining a cord is a definite "pro"-Handy calculator button above the numeric keypad -- I really use this button all the time-Conventional layout for Ins/Del/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn keys -- fantastic for the touch-typist! None that I've found. If you're hunting to replace your current keyboard, you can't do far better than this a single (unless you're looking for a wireless or gaming keyboard). Extremely encouraged.

Well...it's economical. Media buttons at top are nice. --Backspace key stopped operating right after two days. Yes, 2 days!--Had to get in touch with Microsoft to get replacement For only ฟ, I didn't anticipate this factor to last for years but to die after just a couple of days is ridiculous. I'm going to the shop tonight to choose up one thing that is constructed far better than this piece of rubbish.

Good essential layout, ergonomic curved shape, effortless to use volume controls. m key stopped operating for no apparent explanation right after a handful of months of light usage. Glossy stickers for essential labels have annoying glare in low light. multimedia section at top is not space efficient and protrudes as well much. Making use of reduce and paste just about every time I need to kind an m is not fun.

Spacebar is curved so if you are a repeat jumper in mmos and other video games with jumps this keyboard is for you. The additional keys are great and with MS keybindings I can turn the windows essential off in games so I don't accidentally hit it. None to mention, it's low cost and feels wonderful to use. Going from curved to non-curved isn't annoying as men and women are saying, but this style does seem to feel greater.

This keyboard seams it will last forever; I've had it for years- and my hands adore it.I'm a pc programmer, and a game enthusiast.I wanted the curve to ease wrist strain, but a split keyboard isn't great for the hotkey-intensive games I play - such as Starcraft. (Where my left hand utilizes all the keys)This keyboard is nonetheless incredibly related to regular keyboards, in that I have no dilemma switching to one more when functioning on other peoples computers. This keyboard appears mostly unused from when I bought it, all the letters are nevertheless vibrant on the keyboard. The only give away that this keyboard has been used is that the volume - and + buttons are a small smudged; as I'd count on right after two years of use.I personally can sort 120 WPM utilizing this keyboard. none Fantastic all-about keyboard, for gamers, for programmers (lota typing) and for the casual user - due to it's low price tag; great feel and long life. I suggest this keyboard.

This keyboard has performed well for the three years that I've owned it. The moderate ergonomic design and style is comfortable. It did effectively till my children took a screwdriver to the letter "n", generating this critique somewhat difficult to variety. I'm replacing it with the identical model. No cons.

Just feels correct. May well sound odd to say that but I operate at the personal computer too several hours per day & ever given that I switched to this keyboard I have way much less discomfort my in wrists and I am a lot much more accurate at typing.Pretty nice feel, decent tactile feedbackWonderful newegg value for decent top quality keyboard. Takes some acquiring employed to but not as poor as the 'Natural' keyboards MS sells. As soon as you use the Comfort Curve it is hard to sort on regular/standard keyboard. This one particular is a replacement for my 2+ year old Comfort Curve keyboard I had been using which was nevertheless going powerful despite my 20 month old son pounding on it & ripping off essential caps! (They snapped suitable back on) The white paint for a couple letters had began to wear but once again I use the laptop a LOT. ྰ-20 hours per day)I don't use any of the meda keys but often use the calculator essential.

CostEase of use. Every thing works. Kinda touchy (could be me)Legs on the bottom could give the unit a tiny much more height/angle This has the new style form of keys (new to me anywho) but not too intense. A lot more of a gentle progression to the comfort keyboards. Jury is nonetheless out on that.

Quite strong and eye-catching keyboard. Nice keystrokes when compared to most keyboards shipped with PCs. I'm a writer, so I use it a lot. Purchased in May well 2007. Like possessing the calculator and other buttons. Lately the 'B' important wasn't functioning. I slammed the keyboard on my desk a handful of instances, and viola, the 'B' essential is now functioning fine. None

I enjoy this keyboard! Random keys cease working. To repair the "random keys cease operating" problem. Simply do the following...Choose up the keyboard, and SMACK the bottom of it... Seriously, it functions.xahlee.org / emacs/ms_keyboard/ms_comfort_curve_keyboard_2000_repair.htmlOriginal concept from that post. I was about to go find a new keyboard, but fixed it extremely very easily by performing this.

I bought 1 of these keyboards over a year ago to replace a wireless keyboard that came with a method I purchased. (I hate wireless mice and keyboards!) This is now the second Comfort Curve keyboard that I have ordered, and it's for a construct I just completed. The 1st keyboard is still going sturdy. These keyboards have a good feel and are a high quality solution. They are not crowded with function keys and apparatuses that you will never use, and the keys are placed intuitively in a organic position even even though the keyboard is curved. I uncover that the curve of the board allows for my elbows to not press up against my sides as I sort as my elbows do with standard keyboards. The outcome is that my fingers can fly across the keys with significantly less arm fatigue and more comfort. It doesn't do the typing for me. If you want a keyboard with a lot of bells and whistles, then this almost certainly isn't the keyboard for you. On the other hand, if you're hunting for a effectively-constructed keyboard that will hold up below heavy use, carries the Microsoft name, and can be had for a extremely affordable value, then this is you. I extremely recommend this keyboard!

None, yet I just can't get more than how wonderful your shipping is. I ordered this keyboard, Windows 7, two drives and some cables. Ordered at 1ᚷ on twoታ and arrived at 11 am on the next day!!?? good tactile feel and nice layout. Worked out of the box with no drivers. I hot swapped it with my old keyboard and it worked completely, volume controls and almost everything. Being an engineer, the calculator button is quite handy! not really a con, but I am locating that I make a few much more errors. After numerous years employing a "typical" keyboard, the spacing is *just* different adequate that I'm having to get employed to this one particular. I'm sure it will come in time... I would surely advocate this keyboard. Microsoft (or whomever builds this for them) did a quite fine job with this keyboard.

I've owned many of these keyboards, just ordered two much more. they are extremely good and comfortable keyboards. I'm not a fan of the split ergo keyboards, this is a excellent mesh. I also love the keys, smaller sized a lot more streamlined with a nice tactile feedback. I'd very propose this keyboard Back/Foward/Home/search keys are mainly useless. Would be nice to have non-labeled keys so as not to confuse when re-mapping.

The style of the keyboard seriously assist lessen the all round fatigue 1 experiences when typing. It has a Calculator button which (as it turns out) I use all the time. And it appears nice. I employed it in a contact center, so this may be a result of the environment (many careless folks using it) but i went by way of 2 of them in about a year. For ฤ I'll keep getting this 1 for as lengthy as its available. I suspect the CON i noted was only due to a bunch of immature get in touch with-center persons hacking away at it.

Easy design, great feel to keys, comfy None You won't come across a easier, additional comfortable keyboard on the market place for the price. I've utilised a single of these keyboards for gaming and work for a couple of years and I choose it to the more pricey Logitech G15 and MS Sidewinder X6 keyboards I've had on other computer systems.
