Cons: no usb 3.0

Pros: CHEAP!great simple features.
Comment:
Got this for a pc build for my mom. Sad part is that the inside looks better than my old NZXT tempest.... for $30, great case. Not much to say about it, it's elegant, simple. Make sure to put the sticker on properly.. one of the sharp kept sticking out slightly, I cut myself like an idiot 2 times lol.

Cons: none so far

Pros: LightweightLots of 3.5" slotsCheap when on sale
Comment:
This was a surprisingly decent case for $30 on sale. Worth every cent at that price. Lots of 3.5" bays for a mid tower case.

Cons: a bit flimsy and light

Pros: Low cost, above average quality
Comment:
The lightweight construction may be a pro or con depending on the person. I felt it was a bit light. Was a bit noisy when using DVD drive. Other than that, lots of features, doesn't skimp on much. I also have a Fractal case and the difference in features are not substantial. Great buy!

Cons: - Limited airflow as is (just one exhaust fan)- No air filters- Steel side panels are fairly thin

Pros: - Inexpensive- Cable management- Plenty of drive slots- Minimalist design
Comment:
For the money this is an excellent budget case. The cable management is pretty good on this case and there are plenty of drive slots. I like the minimalist design. They give you a ton of thumbscrews, which make adding drives quick and easy.Air flow is not the best. Included is only 1 exhaust fan. You can add two 120mm fans in the front, but there is only a tiny bit of mesh at the bottom to allow cool air into the case. You can also add 2 120mm to the side panel and one more on the bottom. There are no air filtersThe steel side panels are a little thin. If you add fans it can get a little loud.Overall great budget case though.

Cons: - Flimsy PCI cover- Side panel fitment

Pros: - Clean, simple design- Added value features
Comment:
I replaced a decade plus old case in favour of the Merc Beta on my secondary PC. It was an easy decision really. The unexciting but clean black design coupled with features like the rear motherboard cutout, space for cable management, multiple 120mm fan mounts, centering point standoff for your motherboard and even a spot for a SSD are nice touches not usually found all together in this budget segment. There are a few corners cut to package this together however. The flimsy PCI backplate tends to be malleable and is only secured with 1 center screw - you only see design in low priced cases. The side panels also lack notches so fit and alignment of the panels to the chassis is less than perfect. In the end, HD temps dropped to 25-30c with the addition of 2 standard 120mm fans up front, top mount USB ports are always nice to have and at this price point you don't have to deal with gaudy, over the top designs you'd normally find at this price point. On sale, it's a great buy.

Cons: Felt very flimsyThere weren't enough standoff holesIt was a VERY tight fit to screw in the mobo

Pros: RoomyCheap
Comment:
Very good for the price, although there weren't enough stand off holes(for mATX mobos?).

Cons: -Front fan intake is very small (reducing airflow)-no dust filters (to be expected for a budget case)

Pros: -Black interior-decent space at the back for wire management-internal cables are sleeved-can fit 12.6" graphics card (without hdd installed infront of it)
Comment:
Great budget case for an HTPC, but if you're building a gaming or folding rig or anything requiring more cooling, I'd suggest getting the Bitfenix Merc Alpha instead. It's identical to the Beta except the Alpha has 2x 120mm fan slots at the top. The only reason I went with the Beta is because it was for a family computer which would likely have stuff put ontop of it, and I didn't want paper clips and stuff falling into the case.

Overall great case for the price , I recommend it to build office stations and whatnot ... would avoid for intense gaming as the cooling isn't all that great.

Cons: Not as good quality as other cases, but for the price it's awesome

Pros: Cheap, good layout, awesome value
Comment:
I've built 2 systems for people in these cases, they are an amazing value and provide lots of room for components! For the price there is nothing to complain about, some of the plastic feels cheap, but it's a 35 dollar case. Overall it's great.

Cons: Plain

Pros: Feature rich for it's cost
Comment:
This case was bought for an unremarkable desktop PC, it's fairly feature rich for it's price point but it's not going to win any design awards

Pros: good cable managementsimple installationcheap

I picked this up to replace an extremely old ATX case I had been using. I wasn't clear on the difference between this and the alpha, but the beta doesn't have the top fan vents. At this price, this case was a solid deal.

Cons: The side panels are not secured very tightly - might cause noise problems in case of fan vibration.

Pros: Small 2.5" drive bay at the bottom of the case - Perfect for a SSD!Great price.
Comment:
Good case at a good price. Enough bays and front panel ports to meet most needs. The build quality is somewhat flimsier than say, an Antec 300, but it is also cheaper.

This is a very solid case, I got it for $29.99, very good case for the money. It can take long video card without problem. The only thing is it has no filter and only 1 fan but for $29.99, I could not ask for more.

Cons: Front panel was very difficult to open, have to bend open the pci slots,

Pros: Inside is painted, lots of wire hiding places, psu is mounted on bottom, decent ventilation,
Comment:
This is a great case for such a cheap price. I could honestly say I prefer this over my Antec 300 despite not having as much ventilation area.

Cons: No front USB 3.0Side panels come off like it was made in 2004not the best airflow over front HDD but okaythumbscrews for Drive bays

Pros: CheapLightweight yet stronggood looksinterior powder coatgood cable managementgood access to front USBDoesn't look like a kids toy computer
Comment:
Overall this is a great case for the money. I don't remember what it was pricematched to but it was damn cheap. There is space for two 120mm fans over the front HDD but the air intake is small. Surprisingly the drives are still cool and SMART shows the the drive temps are really low so I guess these guys know what they are doing. I can feel cool air blowing across them and I used 2 120mm fans and four HDD. I couldn't believe how light it was when I opened the box while at the same time its not flimsy at all except for the side panels when they come off. Cable management is good and the interior is pretty nice looking. They included a lot of black thumbscrews for the drive bays. They look fine and I guess its better then a shitty tooless setup. That's probably what we would have got at this price point so I think they made the right choice with the screws because at least you know it wont break when you install it. Built for mini-ITX torrent box that was low on power. I used the MSI E350IA-E45 and I had no problems. I would buy it again but I would prefer it in white.
