Cons: Tool-less 3.5" drives are too loose when installed, fan filters retention, instructions a bit vague

Pros: Price, windowed side panel, includes 2 fans
Comment:
I got this case solely based on price and for the fact it holds 8 3.5" drives natively. I installed 6 drives with the only problem being the retention clips - it leaves the drives loose. I was concerned that the vibration would be noisy or cause some sort of long-term damage to the drives. I used some screws to hold the drives in and just removed the clips. The drives block just about all the front airflow coming into the case where I installed 2 120mm fans so I put a fan on the bottom. I installed 2 140mm exhaust fans on top and changed the rear exhaust into an intake so it would blow cool air over the CPU cooler. It's a decent case to work in - no big cable routing issues. A little more space on the backside would have been nice, but what is there is very usable. The fan filters are bit hokey, but at this price, it isn't surprising. The fan filters are held in with screws in the front and bottom. The system would need to be turned off so you can rotate the case to get to screens and the front panel needs to be removed to get to the retention screw and filter.Overall, a good case if you can live with a few shortcomings. For the price, it's hard to beat though.

Cons: Didn't support h100i cooler, had to tear out the hard drive bays and bottom optical drive bay.

Pros: Very nice, spacious, and good cable management. I was able to make my first build with very little trouble. Not expensive at all for a windowed case!
Comment:
This was my first build, and it was slightly more complicated because I had to cut out some of the steel on the interior to support my h100i corsair cooler. I knew I would have to before buying the case but I love the bitfenix shinobi's look so I did some digging and got the Idea from youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDM4YmQYv-8)and everything is working extremely well, cable management was great and everything looks sleek! Definitely recommend this case for not only budget but mid range builds as well.

Cons: GFX card can block top most 2.5" bay.

Pros: Well built, sturdy, minimalistic
Comment:
Relatively nice case that has good air circulation, minimal footprint, and doesn't break the bank.

Cons: The plastic parts are a little flimsy, soft-touch finish is prone to finger prints. The USB 3.0 ports are not correctly aligned in the openings (but they still work great).

Pros: Great value, sturdy build, decent air flow options, sleek look with great finish, decent cable management options, intuitive and functional tool-less features.
Comment:
A great value case with more than enough room and features for your average build. Plastic parts are a little flimsy (e.g. front and top panels) and the case even came with one of the plastic snaps (that connect the top to the case) broken, though a little super-glue fixed the problem. The rest of the case (what you handle during most of the build) is very sturdy. I was happy to see air filters on a value case, but they were very flimsy and the bottom one requires a screw driver to remove. The aesthetics a absolutely stunning, though beware of finger prints! The case has a good amount of room for cable management as well as decent air flow (air enters a grille on the bottom of the front panel as well as the mesh lining, which I expected to be purely for looks). If you want to water cool the case, the top does not include enough room for the average dual radiator/fans setup (push or pull). The top rear vent should have enough room for a single radiator/fan setup though.

Cons: You get what you pay for. Not a huge amount of airflow especially from the front. Filters could be better. The finish on the top and sides shows oil and fingerprints easily.

Pros: Slick looking, contemporary design. Interesting finish to the front and top. Some nice options on a case that falls on the lower end of the price scale.
Comment:
You definitely get what you pay for with this case. It does include a mix of highs and lows. I went over most of the ones I can think about in the Pros and Cons. The only one I want to touch on again is the airflow. Not a lot of air comes in through the small vent holes in the front. If you have a hot running video card, or SLI/Crossfire setup, you most likely will want to install a bottom fan to pull more cool air in, or flip the rear fan so it intakes instead of exhausts. The windowed version of this case is also the only one that has a vent for a side panel fan. But, honestly, that's probably the only big thing about this case... you do get a lot of nice features for your money.

Cons: No 2.5"/SSD mountpoints

Pros: Nice clean design with lots of cooling options
Comment:
Beautiful clean case. The outside of the case is minimal and unobtrusive.Plenty of options for cooling inside the case and good cable management options on the inside.Front panel connectors on the top make for easy access when your tower is on the floor.Soft touch really can only be described as soft touch. It's actually quite nice when handling or moving your tower.I would definitely buy again if I needed a non-budget case.

This case is awesome! For the price it has great features and is built well. The drive bays aren't oriented side-2-side but that is expected at this price point

Cons: The external drives are a bit awkward to install, all the drives are loose-fitting and more noisy unless you have an SSD which doesn't care, and the only SSD mount doubles is also the only external 3.5" adapter (and it rattles around a lot)

Pros: The rubbery-soft rolled steel feels nice, it's got lots of room, and it's not too garish
Comment:
The PSU is bottom-mounted, so my PSU's SATA cables had to double-back a bit to face 'up' to plug them in, making the cabling a bit messier. The motherboard's power plugs are also at the very far end of the board, so I'm lucky the furthest one barely makes it around the back of the board, but at least there's holes in the motherboard area to route them back there (and the edges are smooth enough to do it safely). The cables for the top panel USB2/3 ports are joined, so be prepared to get an extension if your motherboard has those with even a bit of separation, maybe 4" or so. Mine's maybe 10" away and it has no hope of reaching. And the power and reset cables are unmarked, so take a guess and maybe the buttons and leds will work on your first try like mine. You might just want to leave the leds disconnected, anyways, since they're very bright. The drive rails kind of suck. They're very loose, and spinning disks are louder because of it, plus the vibration will likely hasten their death. There's only one external 3.5" adapter for the 5.5" bays, and it's also the only 2.5" drive mount. Getting drives in requires taking off both side panels, which is slightly annoying, and putting in the 5.5" externals also requires taking off the front panel to take out the cutouts, which is a chore. At least that doesn't have to be done often. There are a ton of fan grills all over the place, and if you had an extra 5 or so fans to put there you might need them to draw in a ton of dust, but without fans they'll just start collecting it. The filters are very loose fitting and flimsy. The bottom filters are on the outside of the case and easily pop out and are a bit finicky to get back into their clips. It looks nice enough when everything's together, but I'll probably have to take it apart again to tape something over the unused fan grills. Oh, and the rubbery coating is a little easy to scratch because it is soft.

Pros: - Cheapest Windowed case- Surprisingly simple to install- Modding available with Red stripes and Red Logo and Red light

Saw it on display in NCIX store, knew instantly this is my boy. If you're looking for a windowed case mid-tower, this is it, look no further. My endless research shows that you can't get anything similar under a $100. This is half the price ($69). I don't usually buy PC case, but when I do, I buy Shinobi Phoenix Windowed.

REALLY impressed with this case for the price. I usually buy CM or Antec for my builds and I am blown away with the features you get with this one for the price. All black interior, comes with black screws, even black mb spacers which is awesome. Awesome cable management, got just as good cable set up with a mid tower as I do for my full tower at home. Recommeneded a million times over.

Cons: A tiny bit short, cant fit a water cooling exhaust and a upper exhaust fan together. The hub is glued on and could easily be ripped right off, if you mess up. Not a big deal though.

Pros: Very long case, fits the longest video card I have(400mm long)Best I have seen for this price
Comment:
Pretty decent for price, could be better if it was 5 cm taller to allow closed loop water cooling blocks and the second top exhaust fan to co-exist.

I originally had a HAF X. I saw the shinobi on sale for 59.99 and jumped on it. it looked so damn sexy. I was going to mod my HAF X, and would use this as a replacement case.... Until i got it in ym hands... I immediatly swapped my hardware into the shinobi and sold my haf X to my friend. I am going to mod the shinobi in the summer to have a xspc Raystorm kit in it, dual front rad. It will be sweet. In terms of build quality, everything is solid. Its also really light. the back panel of my HAF X weighed more than the shinobi case tbh. My only gripe is that it only has 3 5.25" drives... One more would be perfect. But thats ok. it still gets 5 stars. I cut the 3.5" bays out of my case all together, and I stuck the harddrive on the second fan slot by the PSU. I have 2 ssds taped to the back of the mopther board tray.THE ULTIMATE STEALHER

Pros: Beautiful case. Simple, sleek and modern. Plenty of room for cable management. Windowed version is definitely ideal if you plan on SLI/Crossfire as the extra fan will help.

I thought the front four usb headers were all 2.0 but in fact two are 3.0. Even the box it came in indicated only 2.0. Otherwise this case is perfect.

One of the best gaming case and cases in general I have seen in person. I always watch videos from linus to see if it good enough to buy and I was right there was enough space for cable management and I had wires that was crossing over. closing the right side panel was slightly tricky because the cables was slightly sticking out but within 30 seconds I got it into place. The fan filters are good quality was are sometimes a pain to move but that value for you. Bitfenix Could be one of the best case companies in the market.
