While doing a good job at 40% and 100% speeds, these fans make a ticking/whining noise when used with a fan controller at speeds >40% and lower than 100%. This issue occurs both with an NZXT mesh fan controller as well as with the BitFenix Spectre Pro fan controller. Other fans powered by the controller do not make this noise.I would advise against purchasing these fans and would have given a 2 star review, but I do not have my order number as I bought these in store.Attached Fans: 2x Cooler Master 200mm fans2x Spectre Pro 230mm fans1x 140mm Spectre Pro fan
