I bought this card as a cost effective way to run dual monitors from my home office. It works at a decent price.

This is a very good card for the money! And the frosting on the cake is the instant rebate! Getting a refund via a debit card is a pain, as you are forced to buy something else, only from a vendor who is able or willing to accept them.

The video card did come with an adapter for low-profile cases but it was individually wrapped and the instructions didn't mention it as far as I could tell. I installed the card with the default full-width end in another desktop before I noticed the adapter so I never tried it. The instructions in the installation guide were otherwise straightforward and I had no issues connecting the card or installing the software. I was able to set up dual monitors very easily in Windows Vista. One of the reasons I chose this card was that its low power requirements allowed me to plug it into a desktop (that didn't have an existing dedicated video card) without upgrading the stock power supply. I should mention that I'm not the primary user of the computer with this card so I've not given it much daily use. And it will never be taxes in its work environment so I can't speak much to performance.

I put this card in a Dell Optiplex (275W power supply) with no problems. Used the DVI output for computer monitor, and the HDMI output for the TV. Now I can watch any recorded shows using Snapstream BeyondTV on my TV screen as well. HDMI does both video and sound. Exelllent product.

I bought this video card for my mythtv machine because I wanted a better picture when watching my recordings. I should note that I don't play games with it and don't intend to. If you are looking for a cheap upgrade to HD for movies or videos, I highly recommend this. It may take some tweaking to get the audio over hdmi working in linux. I didn't even try since I have computer speakers for audio anyway.

It is not what i thought it was going to be, i figured i would at least see a small increase in overall computer performance considering i wouldnt be using the onboard graohics anymore, but i didnt, the graphics are slightly better, my advice is just spend $10-$20 more and get a better card

Based on the price, I thought that I had a great deal. The bench mark is 29 compared to builtin MB intel graphics 32. It blanks screen more than a second or two. Directions for installation were good, however, I noticed some problems with High definition audio drivers. I had reinstalled as they failed after a week. Overall, it is an average video card what you pay what you get....

With the rebate, I upgraded my card for less than $40. This is the bottom of the line nVidea 200 series, but it does fine on any media I have thrown at it. Hope to install a bluray drive eventually.

I guess it depends on what you want to use this video card for....I am simply feeding my TV (28 inch lcd) and it works perfectly for that use. Tried another card that was $30 more (they wont let me name names) and it couldn't support vga and hdmi. Support said use dvi and hdmi. Weak but OK. This card was half the price and serves the same purpose.

I ordered this card to run two monitors. It has a fan which is unusual in this price range. It will work in a full tower or a slimline case. It has every possible output--VGA, DVI, HDMI. My challenge was figuring out if my Dell computer would support this card. The company was helpful on the buying and the installing ends. If this card works with your power supply and motherboard, you can't beat the deal.

If you are building a Media PC this is the best card for it. I installed this card on an old p4m900 MB that I had lying around with an e4400 cpu with 2 gigs of ram. Overall with software install it took 10 minutes, now using the HDMI output I only need one cable instead of the 4 I was using before and I actually pulled my audio card out as it isn't needed anymore.

This is the first time installing a video card that actually improved performance. Instruction were easy to read and worked. Support for Window 7 drivers were easy to install and the card is working great after a month. My computer stays on all the time for downloading and gaming and I'm impressed. Thanks
